Yikes! ‘Satan’ Shows Up During a Local TV Weather Report

Everyone knows the phrase, “It’ll be a cold day in Hell before that happens.” But what if your weather forecast actually involved the ruler of Hell himself?

That’s what the viewers of Nashville affiliate WSMV-TV claim to have witnessed in tonight’s broadcast, which appropriately enough forecast truly hellish weather in the form of severe thunderstorms. In fact, so bad was the weather that a demonic face appeared before the weather report even came on, leering at the viewers.

No, really. We’re not kidding about that part. See the frozen image of the face below, followed by video of the incident captured by Youtuber PerlAddict:

So just what the Hell happened (pun intentional)? No one has quite worked it out. Some people over at Gawker have speculated that the face was the result of someone mistakenly airing a clip from a preview for the NBC supernatural procedural “Grimm” by accident during the start of the weather report. Others counter that no monster that looks like this actually appears in the show. There’s almost certainly a logical explanation, but either way, it‘s something you don’t see every day.

    Of course–the Lord of Lies infiltrates local news broadcasts, and Jesus shows up in fajitas and on hubcaps in Tijuana. That’s how the powerful ruler and wannabe ruler of the Universe show how truly powerful they are. Local news and fajitas. And hubcaps. Be afraid, be very afraid.

      Hollywood has an amazing affect on people, and so do the artists of old. People will say there is Jesus there, and over there, but do not be fooled. Likewise, people will say there is Satan there, and over there, but do not be fooled. Satan is in everyone from time to time standing up in those moments when people have something earthly to gain at another’s expense or when people have to make difficult choices requiring self sacrifice and do not want to. I believe people also call it ID.

      It’s pretty funny.
      I saw a glimpse (maybe a tenth of a second) of something in a commercial here in Colorado. It looked like something that shouldn’t be on public television… I thought I saw a mustached guy’s head sideways and smiling at the camera. His face inches above a woman lying… (a spread eagle closeup)
      My brother was here and we were both shocked. He said, “Did you see that?! Was that what I think it was?!”
      It was so fast we weren’t sure if what we saw was what it looked like, but it seemed like somebody had played a prank and put something rated X on TV here. We didn’t have the rewind option, so we’ll never know for certain.

      Maybe it‘s a case of you call to you what you’re thinking. Most pictures of Jesus have been seen by
      Christians (mostly Catholic) who go to mass, pray, etc. Demons are seen by the media, connection? Possibly.
