    It’s not news that the press and the network news media is grossly biased towards the left but we should also be aware that Fox News is also loaded with neocons like Chris Wallace, Charles Krauthamer, Bill Kristol, and many others who are elitists who are in reality ok with big government (as long as their guys are holding the reins) and aggression against other soveriegn nations and many other policies that are anything but conservative. Be careful who you listen to. Both sides want to control what you think. Understand the principles of liberty and freedom and you will find who you can really trust.

    AP seems to be getting worse about it’s bias, if that is possible. Economic numbers are another area where the AP constantly fudges the numbers to make the administration look better. They are almost official members of the Obama 2012 campaign.

    Well folks i think i have the answer for this border fence issue. We all no adolph obamma lied as the border fence has not nearly been completed so why dont we do this, why dont we tear down the fence around the white house and just let anyone roam around at will maybe some picnics on the white house lawn, yea lets tear it down ,there is no threat to adolph obamma or the rest of america right? Or must his fence stay up for protection and the hell with the general public there safety does not matter .       Most numbers just don’t ad up, even with Fox and Rasmussen. They all tend to get the results they want and it don’t matter who is doing the polling. When being polled, if all options of answers aren’t there, how can it be accurate? I guess before polls they just lied, now they use false polls to lie!

      More patrol personnel closer to the border catching certain people after they’ve crossed the border does not equal more patrol personnel keeping all people from actually crossing the border.

      The increased numbers were sought because the assumption was that it was the Border Patrol’s policy to keep people from crossing into our country; but since that’s not their goal, simply having more people do what they‘ve been doing doesn’t address the problem.

      Some highlights:
      As you can see on P. 37, the commentators are correct–the respondants were 46% Democrat and 29% Republican. HOWEVER, given the history of Polls over the last year, this does not in any way seem unusual. Republican affiliation peaked around election time last fall, and has declined to levels very similar to what it was a year ago. GIVEN THAT THIS IS A CLEAR AND OBSERVABLE TREND, there seems to be no evidence that this is simply a “bad” poll.

      But this is even more interesting:
      The pundits talk about party affiliation, but they ignore the statistics on actual political beliefs.
      When asked if they consider themselves liberal, conservative or moderate, they respond:
      Liberal: 23%
      Conservative: 38%
      Moderate: 36%

      So the poll contained more than half-again as many Conservatives than Liberals–so why are these dumb pundits complaining? Are they just ignorant? Have they not done their homework? Or perhaps they are covering for the fact that the Republican party is rapidly losing the support from moderates that they needed in the last election (as we all know, moderates make up a lesser percentage of the vote in mid-term elections).

      Did you get all this information from this one poll? I believe you are as slanted as the poll. For example if the 29% (or a great number) Republican response comes from carefully selected RINOs, the poll is truly skewed. Where did you get the Republican popularity peaking – check out the Tea Party, while not a distinct party (yet), they are overwhelmingly elephant-oriented.

      I guess they give you a pencil because they can’t trust you with a pen.

      I think this goes back to the argument of people voting for Obama because he was black. My guess is that a majority of the people who took the poll had no idea what Liberal, Conservative, or Moderate really is, so they randomly chose one, out of fear of sounding politically unintelligent. But they knew they were a democrat because Obama was a democrat.

      I am not speaking bad about the people who do not know what liberal, conservative, or moderate means, but I know I have talked to friends who after Obama was elected became “political experts” over night. Some of them for, some of them against him. But if I were to ask or bring up conservative they would not know exactly what that meant.

Is it supposed to be rhetorical? How about the facts; the poll was skewed more than 17% in favor of the Democrats. As such no one with an once of credibility should have reported it. Those are the facts, they are indisputable and this just more bad journalism. BTW the reason it was skewed more than 17% in stead of just 17% is because less people call themselves Democrats than they do Republicans today . So any poll that is accurate should actually skew towards Republicans by a few points. If AP poll was accurate the result would have put the President’s approve below 50%. The AP is a liberal organization and as such has zero credibility. Because liberals always lie to advance their agenda. They are not interested in the truth what so ever.

      Did you actually look at the polling data I linked, or did you just post a knee-jerk reaction asking pointless questions? The PDF is the collected data of ten polls done at semi-regular intervals over the last year. Again, if you looked at the data, one of the questions asked is whether the responent supports the Tea Party–30% do, which is completely consistent with other national polls, including some that have been highlighted by FOXNews themselves. So how exactly would the AP be able to “carefully” select RINOs while maintaining 30% support for the Tea Party? And remember, the question was about “affiliation.” There are probably plenty of Tea Party supporters out there who consider themselves Independents, regardless of whether they normally vote for Republicans or not.

      Bottom line: The pundits here are only suggesting that the poll is biased because it doesn’t say what they want it to say. It just doesn’t follow logically that because the Democrats lost the last election, there have to be more people affiliated with the Republican Party–not when 47% of those polled are either Independents who “lean” one way of the other (23%) or just don’t know (24%).

      All this information is quite clear from the poll–please take a look before asking anymore questions–it will save us both time.

      Ha! What evidence do you have that more people call themselves Republicans? I’d like to see the poll, because I could show yu quite a few that say otherwise. This perhaps does not mean a whole lot, since arguably the Democrats are a more ideologically diverse party, and even those who call themselves Democrats do not always vote for Democrat candidates. That said, regardless of political beliefs, there is no evidence to suggest conclusively that there are more Republicans than Democrats. So what the heck are you talking about?

      Contributing factor with Obama’s election results is the fact 54% of Catholics voted for him. Mexico has the 2nd largest number of Catholics of which 97% claim to attend weekly mass. What religion do you suppose illegal aliens happen to be? Because of the Muslim Islamic conlfict, we’re told not to view religion as an issue.       I recently had an epiphany. I realized the southern border will never be made secure by either party because it serves both parties to leave it open. While the border remains open, the Dems can say, elect me! Our border is already secure and I will reform immigration! Likewise, the Republicans can say, elect me! Our border is not secure and I will close the border! Once they actually do something about the border and immigration reform neither party will have that big political soapbox. Hispanics are being used as political fodder.

      Nope, I think they were spot on. Their poll showed exactly what they wanted it to. It was totally scientific – would be nice to see the questions and the possible answer choices.

      Let’s say we do a poll that asks, do you believe the Holy Bible is true, the word of God? yes, no, some of it.

      Assume that 50 % of the respondents say yes, the Holy Bible is the true word of God. That means that if your children don’t do what you tell them, they talk back to you, you should take them out and stone them. Deuteronomy 21…

      Very good! But then there’s the Gallup poll, which has Dems with a 3 point lead over Reps:

      So, a Rasmussen poll in which Reps have a 1.3% lead over Dems (and remember, there is a margin of error) means definitively that we are a “center-right” country? You see, the big issue here is that while you seem to be able to read, whatever part of your mind that is supposed to interpret the data is completely out of whack. So, if we went back to 2009 when the Dems had an 8-point advantage, I am sure back then you would have said definitively that this is a “center-left” country, right?
