Did the Washington Monument Tilt Because of the Earthquake?

The National Park Service says all memorials and monuments on the National Mall have been evacuated and closed after an earthquake struck near the nation’s capital. No damage was reported.
The Blaze reported that Fox News said its bureau had received information from a producer saying that a Capitol Hill Police officer was reporting the Washington Monument may actually be tilting as a result of the earthquake.
Seismologist John Rundle joined host Megyn Kelly on her show and the Washington Times writes that he confirmed that the Washington Monument could very well be tilting as a result of the earthquake.
Agency spokesman Jeffrey Olson however now says that there was “absolutely no damage” to the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, or other tourist destinations along the National Mall.
The Park Service says the memorials and monuments, including the new Martin Luther King Jr. memorial, were evacuated immediately after the quake.
The 5.9 earthquake struck 83 miles southwest of the city Tuesday afternoon, prompting the evacuation of many government buildings.

Posted on August 23, 2011 at 6:19pmBelieve it or not, this was probably due to HAARP. Hurricane is headed toward Florida, so they have to create some fronts to steer it out to sea. Of course, that’s supposed to be great when it works…it has for the last 5 or 6 yrs…and this hurricane will be moving out to sea…at least away from Florida.
However, when the powers that be have a mishap with their little weather control toy it shoots lots of electromagnetic pulses into the ground, missing its target. This causes earthquakes when this happens.
If they luck out, this Hurricane might ride up the East Coast into New Jersey and New York City. Earthquakes, Deadly Hurricane’s, and massive unseasonable September heat from the resulting artificially made high pressure system that will park over the middle of the country because of these whackos should get everyone convinced of Global Warming.
At least there should be enough misery to convince the masses that the Government needs to rob us of more of our liberties and dollars! Of course, at least Florida won’t be any more miserable than it already is. Like wealth, the Global Elite believe in spreading the misery around too.

Posted on August 23, 2011 at 6:48pmHave any of you been through a DC evacuation? I have. Basically, you just get out of town as fast as possible and no one really cares where you end up. You can be herded onto a bus that takes you in the opposite direction from where you’d like to go. You are on your own. You end up having to call someone to come get you. All lanes on highways are open for exiting only. The jam is astounding…but you have to get out of town. Stores & businesses close. Offices and office bldgs close. Arterial roads are packed. Everything shuts down…everything. There was probably a run on food and essentials, absolutely emptying store shelves in minutes. I am so glad I don’t have to go thru that scenario any more. When I read DC & the Pentagon was evacuated, I had to laugh a little in empathy for what I know everyone went through. A 5.9 is a real hard shaker and probably terrified everyone. Aftershocks can be just as bad. I know there are people that won’t show up for work for a week after this. It always happens.
HAARP is so our submarines can maintain contact due to the curvature of the earth.

I don’t believe the mind control part, but I can see how it would be possible to do some of the other stuff. Science fiction has always been proven correct eventually, whether it‘s because some scientist wants to prove it’s possible, or because the writers can think ahead concerning technology. Weather control has always been theorized, even an earthquake machine. My concern is that if this is correct, and they actually do shoot things into the stratusphere, there’s the possiblity of lighting the whole atmosphere on fire. They were afraid of doing this with a nuclear bomb when it was first discovered.

It very well COULD be related to the fracking–after they started heavy-duty fracking here we started having earthquakes, too–had several, in fact, just small ones. But we don’t normally have earthquakes here, and they started after the fracking began.

I think he would have found someone as brave and persistent as Encinom to be amusing, and admirable. He would probably consider us modern folks to be at least as tolerable as slaves and cattle.
