    THIS is why he AND Obama should be REMOVED.

    They have MIS-HANDLED, MIS-INFORMED, MIS-GUIDED AND MIS-DIRECTED THIS COUNTRY
    TO BANKRUPTCY.

    Thanks to BOTH of their failings (know-how – or lack thereof) our Country is being led to destruction.

    Should we wait until they FINALLY & ENTIRELY BANKRUPT the country or what?

    I mean, WOULDN’T YOU TAKE A LOADED GUN AWAY FROM A CHILD?

    BOTH of them have shown themselves to be INCAPABLE OF HANDLING THE JOB.
    WHAT MORE EVIDENCE IS NEEDED?

    Their RESIGNATIONS should be demanded….BEFORE WE WON’T BE ABLE TO RECOVER.

    Still, if they BOTH left today – it will STILL take YEARS TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE DONE.
    START NOW…DON’T LEAVE IT UP TO OUR CHILDREN TO CLEAN UP THEIR MESS.

      Geithner and Obama have got to go! Of all people, Geithner knew exactly what S & P was doing well ahead of time. His arrogance and dishonesty probably got in his way of good judgement just like most of our Washington clowns. These arrogant dishonest clowns, from Obama on down, cannot do the simplest things because they are drunk on power and their heads are so big that they cannot make rational decisions.

      Agree that Geithner has to go, but do we really want Joe Biden running things? We survived Jimmy Carter, and I think that we can survive two more years of Obama, especially if the House sticks to its guns, as it did in the debt ceiling debate.

      Now if we could impeach and remove Joe, and get a center-right citizen (not necessarily a politician) in as VP, then we could pressure Obama to resign or impeach him.

    There is noway to turn this downgrade around under the current line of tactics being utilized by the govt.. It requires revenue, revenue we dont have and no, taxes are not the answer. Being the central hub of manufacturing and innovation is the only way. Its what made the US a true superpower. But now China is in the drivers seat, they have become what we once were during and after WW2. No thanks to corp taxes, EPA, unions etc etc that have driven companies out of the US to outsource everything. We are now consumers/spenders/borrowers, no economy based on this can dig itself out of a hole or turn its credit rating around. Spending cuts wont do it either b/c this govt refuses to stop spending.

    We must REMOVE all sitting congressmen/women, senators and of course President with new blood who put country first. People that will get out of the way of the entrepreneurs, innovators and dreamers who once made this country and industrial giant.
