Did Toure Mock S.E. Cupp With Sexist-Sounding Remark During Debate on Minorities in the GOP?

It seems in today’s hyper-polarized political landscape, that honestly and openly discussing racial issues leaves one open to be called, well, “a racist.” In some instances, it may even evoke sexist sneers and jeers.
Such was the case on MSNBC‘s “The Cycle” Thursday, when network host Toure invoked the hackneyed “code-speak” he claims conservatives engage in when speaking about members of the black community. For instance, he claimed that “voter ID” is code for preventing “blacks and browns” from reaching the polls. When Blaze contributor S.E. Cupp questioned this line of thinking, and noted that she finds it difficult to keep up with all the “codes” for racism that are creeping into the political discourse, Toure concluded the segment by mocking her comment. He did so in a way that also seemed to paint Cupp as an airhead, thus undertones of sexism may well have been at play.
Watch the segment above through to the end to determine whether you think that Toure came across as belittling, even sexist, during his retort.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 9:43pmSo 96% of black Americans support Obama and that is not racist. He was elected in 08′ because of his color and he is running hard on his color and the media is pressing him forward on his color. How is that not racist?

If Obama is re-elected you had darn well better arm yourself because the Democrats have no compunction at all to go after Americans.

Actually, the government does give a lot of hand outs, to everyone who wants them. They want more people dependent on them so they can have more control.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 9:00pmFrom a minority hispanic view, these black brothers don’t speak for me or for most indviduals in the hispanic or black community. It’s amazing how such seemingly educated brothers from the “hood” continue to foment at the mouth with such poison toward white people. The accusations of racism agains the GOP are absolutely ludicrous! So what if 90 % in attendance are white? What does that prove? It proves nothing more than the fact that more white people were in attendance. The lunatics on the left to continue to spew these hateful and divisive garbage to no end. From my point of view, they do more harm to racial cohesion than any white person in the GOP could ever do. Just because you are white does not mean you are racist fool! I am sick and tired of such divisive rhetoric coming from these lunatics. You black folk need to get over that complex, especially you gay folk masquerading as defenders of racial equality.
And I’ll take it a step further, if you are so concerned about erasing those lines of racism, why doesn’t it apply to your exclusive groups like the NAACP and other groups like that? You know why? Because you prefer black superiority over racial equality, so cut the bogus stuff.
Yes! Racism still exists! But it exist in all communities, including black, hispanic and asian, as well as white.

Think about it. If it wasn’t for crying racist at every turn they might actually have to go out and get a real job and work for a living. Race baiting and promoting soft bigotry is how they tie people, and funds, to them.
-The schools are racist…but don’t bring up the fact that poor whites attend those same schools. Just lower the standards and blame racism for failing to learn.
-Voter ID’s are racist…forget the fact that poor whites are being required to have them also and are being inconvienenced by being forced to obtain FREE ID’s.
-Failing to hold a job is racism…It’s not a lack of busting your butt.
-White vote monitors are racist…But NBP members standing outside a polling place, ARMED, is totally acceptable and defended by the race baiters.
-The race baiters hear racist code words in such things as ‘anger’ or ‘chicago’…But ******* and labeling anyone with an opposing view is totally acceptable.
-The Black Congressional Caucus is acceptable but would the White Congressional Caucus is verboten.
-Black studies or gay studies are encouraged but white studies or straight studies are illegal.
Gotta go, Clint Eastwood is speaking.

It’s absolutely right! You emphasized the double standard that this so called “Leaders” of the Black and Hispanic community continually inundate the airwaves with. This sort of talk does nothing to mend racial tension between our peoples, regardless of color. We need to realize that color is irrelevant in this fight! If we are to erase racism, or at least try to subdue it, we need to reckonize and acknowledge when it walks in the door. That’s true, whether you are white, black, brown or yellow!
Every tree bears good and bad fruit and it’s no different in our own communities.
Personally, I love the mix of good decent and God loving people, whether hispanic, white, black, yellow or whatever color they come in. It’s a great thing to have such diversity of race, and it’s what makes us unique and strong as a people. This is why this racial division efforts is a detriment toward the future of America. We must exist as one united people!

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 8:35pmThe constant Media blame games are getting very old. They are always putting the blame on Others. For the media, dems, certain cultures, and current administration, the first reaction to a problem is to find someone to blame. Blaming is a defense mechanism to avoid taking personal responsibility for the situation. The blamer rapidly finds fault in the other person and criticizes them. Trying to find a solution to the problem is much better than looking for someone to blame. Blaming is a pattern that keeps people divided. People who blame others or situations without taking responsibility for their contribution to the problem never get the sense of satisfaction of growth. By refusing to see their own errors, they lose the opportunity to change the very aspects of themselves that keep them stuck in hate and anger mentality.
Toure and friends need some professional help. As for S.E., it is very difficult to have a conversation with people stuck in the blame mode. S.E. you have a lot more to offer than being a punching bag.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 8:35pmAt what point can we stop seeing posts from MSNBC? The Blaze does a great job of highlighting news and opinions from a wide array of outlets across the country, which is why I enjoy the site. However, MSNBC has reduced itself to utter filth, and the only “viewers” they get are those who see them via re-posting their clips. At first, I found it as comedic relief because their hosts are so ridiculous, but at this point, they are only screaming for attention, and I wish people wouldn’t give them any.
They can’t pull viewers on their own merits….and come to think of it, MSNBC and the word “merit” don’t even belong in the same sentence anyway. If they want to continue their brand of propaganda, then I say let them do it on their own, without the help of The Blaze, Breitbart’s sites, or the Drudge Report.
These guys have reduced themselves to saying outrageous things because they know it‘s the only way they’ll get any press. I would like to respectfully ask that we don’t give that to them until they officially decide to grow up.
