Did You Know 33 Million Americans Aren’t Registered to Vote?: In Stage 2, Beck Urges People to ‘Activate’

Glenn Beck Reveals Scary Conservative Voting Stats

Despite their patriotism, knowledge of politics and reverence for the Constitution, nearly half of a group of 41,000 donors to a GOP candidate were reportedly not registered to vote. Likewise, similar statistics are reportedly plaguing other right-leaning organizations, which are seeing at least 20-30% of their membership registered to vote. This election season, Glenn Beck thinks statistics like these are doubly frightening, as if they would likely ensure Barack Obama’s reelection.

Currently, some 33 million — or, 14% of Americans of voting age — believe they are registered to vote but are not. Beck outline how critical this point is by explaining that the during the 2000 election, George W. Bush won by a mere 537 votes — or 0.009% — in Florida. In New Mexico, the disparity was even narrower with only 363 votes. Beck then invoked John F. Kennedy’s 0.16% victory over Richard Nixon.

The message from Beck to viewers was clear: Register to vote. In other words, “activate.”

It comes as no surprise that Liberals are considered effective organizers (as indicated by Van Jones growing Rebuild The Dream movement). With the ability to rally their base and embark on successful voter registration drives (of both the legitimate and non-legitimate variety), the left has cornered the market on mobilization.

Beck, who believes Americans are in the fight of their lives (fight for our lives) – said we’re witnessing firsthand the fundamental transformation of America. You might recall from The Blaze’s earlier articles on “The Road We Are Traveling,” that fundamental transformation is a key tenet of the progressive movement as it drives America toward a European-style Socialist “utopia.” Members of the left, meanwhile, will fervently continue to sell the narrative that Capitalism has failed, that the Department of Justice is, well, all about justice, that Obama is in fact conservative, and just about any other Orwellian version of reality they can conjure up.

Conservatives must activate

Beck believes everyone including, disillusioned Democrats, Libertarians, Independents, and conservatives must be better than their ideological opposites in order to secure victory in 2012 and ensure that the presidential election will send a clear mandate to Washington, and to progressives across the country with a landslide victory. To this end, Beck unveiled the second phase of his four-part plan Tuesday evening with an emphasis on activation — especially through voter registration.

He urged Americans to find out if they are registered to vote and if not, register themselves, and include four friends in the process. Beck has partnered with David Barton’s WallBuilders.com , which provides all the tools needed to help people register to vote. Printable forms are also available, as is an option to “adopt a schlub.” Beck noted that the site is both simple and engaging, making it entertaining and easy for people to participate.

While the primary excuse given by registered voters who fail to make it to the polls is that they are “too busy.” Beck wondered what could be more important than taking 15 minutes of the day to vote, especially in the most significant election to date.

Glenn Beck Reveals Scary Conservative Voting Stats

America’s image, according to Beck, has been battered by the mainstream media, the progressive left, and other ideological opponents. To aid in its restoration, he urged viewers to consider joining any of the organizations and initiatives listed below. GlennBeck.com also provides details:
  1. Become part of the Tea Party movement the week of Restoring LoveFreePac & the Constitutional Conference
  2. I want to join a team – 9/12 ProjectFreedomWorks, or a local Tea Party

It can be done and “you are the key.”

The threat is imminent

Invoking a new Blaze article that details how former green jobs “czar” Van Jones is building a progressive economic movement, Beck reminded viewers that the left, along with the mainstream media, has been bent on painting the Tea Party as extremists. This is done because the Tea Party has occupied the space progressives themselves wish to occupy.

Recalling how Libertarians have helped to thwart career politicians like Orrin Hatch and Dick Luger from remaining in the halls of Washington indefinitely, Beck praised the efforts of groups like the Tea Party, FreedomWorks and 9-12 Projects who have acted as “significant” movers in the political equation.

As the season’s races begin to heat up, Beck urged viewers who don’t yet belong to FreedomWorks, a 9-12 Project, or the Tea Party to join.

Additional details on how to get involved can be found at GlennBeck.com.

    Glenn:

Please interview the 12-yr old Canadian Girl, Victoria Grant, that recently gave a SPEECH to 600 people on how Canada is coluding with the Bank of Canada, how they got into this mess, and the best part how to fix it (which is essentially what Glen Beck is trying to do with GBTV viewers, Blaze Readers, and followers). She is amazing, and smarter than a Columbia Graduate and Harvard Law Graduate! She is so good that she’s been asked/doing the same speech at conferences in Canada. Romney should put her on a few campaign stops to explain how morally corrupt our government leaders and Federal Reserve has become thanks to the same legislation and banking setup that Canada has setup like ours!

Here is her 6-Minute Speech (which she recently gave in front of 600 people):

Glenn is completely wrong on this. I wish more americans were NOT registered to vote. The majority of americans pay no attention to news and are ignorant. Politicians make smear ads and false attacks because they know these ignorants will believe it. I would rather have a knowledgable 10% vote than a dumb 90% voting.

Seems obvious the goal should be to educate – not bus them to the polls. I cant understand why Glenn would make a big deal about this unless he is completely tanked for Romney

If someone reads/listens to beckster and still doesnt vote , do they do it because they are stupid? Or do they do it because they realize that both parties give us bigger government? It seems Glenn thinks they are stupid. I would argue the latter, as most people have no faith in ANY of the mainstream republican politicians

Soy is right and I believe that there are already too many unintelligent voters in the country todaym as they just vote for who their star, in their eyes, tells them to vote for.

      “Abortion”
      Obama – yup
      Romney – yup
Paul – Does NOT vote to violate our Constitution and has pushed for overturning the JUNK-LAW of Roe:
“We must take a principled approach that recognizes both moral and political principles, and accepts the close relationship between them. Legislatively, we should focus our efforts on building support to overturn Roe v. Wade. Ideally this would be done in a fashion that allows states to again ban or regulate abortion. State legislatures have always had proper jurisdiction over issues like abortion and cloning; the pro-life movement should recognize that jurisdiction and not encroach upon it. The alternative is an outright federal ban on abortion, done properly via a constitutional amendment that does no violence to our way of government.”
      And on 3541:
      http://www.dailypaul.com/238000/ron-paul-statement-on-on-hr-3541-the-prenatal-nondiscrimination-act

      “Gay Marriage”
      Obama – instituted sodomite/lesbian “marriage.”
Romney – instituted sodomite/lesbian “marriage.” (and blamed courts)
Paul – government has NO PLACE in marriage.

      “Support of Israel.”
Obama – isolationist foreign policy of welfare, warfare, propping up and tearing down that creates a VERY, VERY, VERY unstable world.
Romney – isolationist foreign policy of welfare, warfare, propping up and tearing down that creates a VERY, VERY, VERY unstable world.
Paul – NONINTERVENTION which STRENGTHENS Israel.

My co-worker said that he was in a local convenience store the other day. He overheard a conversation of a woman and her supervisor about how she had to be off on a certain day and time. She said she had to go make sure he got his check. For what, she didn’t say. But he was turning 18 and though he had not graduated from high school, as soon as he got government support, she was kicking him out. She also mentioned that she had 4 kids, all were getting checks and none of them had finished high school. My co-worker said he just stood there with his mouth hanging open. Listen to the Independents and youth for Ron Paul when they say they will not vote for Romney. They, We mean it. I am a Libertarian leaning Republican in a very liberal state, and I talk to Dems all the time. I know a lot of Dems that wrote Ron Paul in on thier Dem primary ballot as a message to the DNC. They all tell me that they woould vote for Paul in the general, but they all agree that they will not vote for Romney, he scares them. Do the math, he just does not have the connection he needs. This article refers to Mr. Beck‘s misreading of Stuart Chase’s book from the 1940′s .
At the time he highlighted his lack of reading comprehension by missing the book’s theme, (assuming he read it at all), Mr. Beck declared the war against the Republican founded Progressive movement was over and the new “fight” was against the Communists.

    What happened?

    2. Beck says “WE CANNOT BE THE GLOBAL POLICE FORCE”. Then he supports Romney who wants to expand our wars and continue our slide into bankruptcy. Who wants to get us out of the UN and end the needless wars? Ron Paul.

    3. Beck says “WE ARE LOSING OUR FREEDOMS”. Then supports Romney who supports the Patriot Act, gun control laws, and the NDAA. Who wants to repeal those bills, end the TSA, and protect the 2nd Amendment? Ron Paul.

    4. Beck says “ THE FED IS EVIL”. Then supports Romney who has said he will not waste time on the FED, Benernake is doing a good job, and is funded by the same big banks as Obama. Who has been against the FED, attacked Benernke, and doesnt take money from banks or lobbyists? Ron Paul.

      @sue

Time is up. We dont have enough time for a patch over till we can get another choice. Glenn Beck didnt attack Romney on his record like he did Gingrich. Romney and Gingrich are practically clones.

We are 16 trillion in debt with the two main candidates offering nothing but the status quo. By the time we are voting for the next president we will be 20 trillion in debt if we are even a country then. There is only one way to stop this. STOP THE SPENDING!!!. If we do not elect someone right now that stops the spending we will be in a civil war and possibly global war in the next 4 years.

How can anyone who has said the most dangerous thing facing our nation is our debt support a guy who doesnt cut current spending levels? Since Beck refuses to support Ron Paul over his stance on Israel, who will help Israel when we are bankrupt and our country is on fire?

If Beck had balls and stood on his principles he would have come and supported Ron Paul. Once Beck supported Ron Paul others would follow. Instead he and his idiot radio buddies just make fun of him. Well that is fine Mr. Beck, but your calculated support of Romney will not get Obama out of office. The only way Romney wins is with Ron Paul supporters. Ron Paul supporters are not going to vote for Romney. You have lead your sheep astray Glenn, I just hope we have another election so you can make up for your mistake.

Mutiny is right. Most on here are only thinking of themselves, they have not the courage or will to do what is necessary to ensure freedom continues for their grandchildren. You all want to bury your heads in the sand, and kick the can down the road. Shame on all of you. It is true that if Ron Paul is elected, we will have to give some things up . I am prepared for that so that my grandchildren are not holding the can you want to kick down that road. Romney is not much better than Obama, if at all. Here is his budget plan: http://www.fox19.com/story/17096680/reality-check-fact-checking-mitt-romneys-budget-plan
He touts repealing Obamacare but his plan states he wants to make a better healthcare plan. The government never makes anything better. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/romney-pushed-individual-mandate-massachusetts-health-care-law-144554113.html
This is why Paul supporters have made pledges to each other to not vote for Romney. He willl lose to Obama, guaranteed worse than McCain did.

I’ve been getting people to register since 2008, and work the polls. There is a huge shortage of poll watchers and workers in the republican party. If you haven’t signed up to go to Texas, why not? Why not make a family vacation of it? See America, drive down and make it a history lesson alone the way. So much going on FreePac, Restoring Love, constitutional classes, and hopefully throwing in some charity work.

Beck’s lost his mind if he think the disillusioned Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents will listen to him. I’m sorry, but he’s no friend to truly routing out the progressives in the republican party. I think a lot of Libertarians are feeling that way from what I’ve read. Get behind Romney?! Being that he is a recovering alcoholic, Beck understands that this country has to be healed in steps. Lets get B.O. out of office first, change the GOP and Democrats back to a more fiscal conservative and libertarian shindig, and then reteach the concepts of personal responsibility to the U.S. We can’t just look at choices that we have today, but have to be willing to shape the choices of tomorrow. It has taken 100 for us to get this far off track and it’ll take as long to get back

Crypt, Romney has not won yet no matter what the MSM tell you , including the MSM Fox and The Blaze. They tell you Romney has clinched the nomination and has 1169 delegates, Wrong! Romney has 775 delegates (1/3 Ron Paul supporters, maybe a little more) Ron Paul 229 All Paul supporters. Santorum 143, Gingrich 66, half, Ron Paul supporters. The convention will make history with what is going to happen. My calculation says Romney approx. 615, Paul, approx, 590 at this point.

Is it not true that if you have drivers license, you are on the list for being called up for jury duty? The same should be for voting. When you fail to commit to more than one jury calling within a certain period you can be fined? The same should be for voting. Yes I know that there are many people that get drivers licenses who are not legal in the US, but not the number mentioned in the article. Or if you pay state and federal taxes you should be registered automatically and if you do not vote you get fined. May sound a bit like the purple dye on fingers, but you have a responsibily among many others to live in this great country.

I can never watch it without a serious headache. It always stops and restarting is maddening as there is no way to know what the actual time is. It is different every time.

But why do people not register and vote.

Well this year we have the choice of Obama the known Democrat or the Democrat plant Romney who made it clear he was a Democrat when he won his only election.

So why bother voting? You can vote for one of two Democrats. How is that choice.

Point this out and everyone just lies and says well now he says he is a Republican. Right. Pee on me and tell me it is raining. One thing I have learned in Politics. Do not pay attention to words only records. Mitt is a lifetime Democrat and a Republican hater.

I understand your point, it is valid for multiple people with the same name.. probably just the way the database was setup, This is likely just a copy of the States Database. It could be a limitation of the state version.

      My point is different though..
But pick a unique person and you get the same person multiple times a different issue..

example George Soros shows Manhattan (his office location)
      and Katonah NY (his residence)

try Donald Trump,,, how many donald Trumps are there..

pick a unique name RUDY GIULIANI.. he is registered twice,,, with different zips..

Voter registrations don’t use unique names like Bill Ayers, they use real names like William Charles Ayers. It’s whats on the birth certificate that counts or what someone legally changed their name to.
