A peculiar place, the RNC official prayer room is located at the very top of the convention center. The room is well marked but comically located between concession stands. Approximately the size of a cubicle, the room is heavily lit and is punctuated by a stainless steel that lines the walls, sharply reflecting the florescent lighting. The glare is accented by seven metal chairs facing a plastic table with a single open Bible on top. The Bible, is open to Proverbs 3 and the first verse visible is:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
An RNC official told TheBlaze that the room is meant for the courtesy of the convention attendees.
“Some delegates have strong religious beliefs and need a quiet place to pray and reflect,” the official said. Will the far off room get much use? The official does not know. Shrugging his shoulders he says, “It is a courtesy you probably wont get at the DNC.”
With the Hurricane just missing Tampa it seems like some convention prayers may have already been answered. Now more are needed for New Orleans.

Posted on August 29, 2012 at 3:04amhey moron – stop talking – you make yourself look stupid
James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
I REALLY LOVE TO REBUKE STUPID PEOPLE – YOU DON’T NEED OTHERS TO CONFESS – BUT THE PRAYERS OF TWO OR MORE ARE MORE EFFECTIVE AND POWERFUL – AND TO CONFESS TO OTHERS SHOWS YOU ARE REMORSEFUL AND HELPS SOME PEOPLE REPENT.

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 5:28pmI am a TB Lightning season ticket holder and my seats are not far from that room, it is used as a sports memorabilia stand. Looks like they took out all the stuff and just put up a curtain in front of the entrance. If you look on floor you will see team logo.Area is about 10×12 feet. The walls are designed to hang shelves and hangers from. This is not a “specially” set up room, sure it was just put there as a courtesy.

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 2:49pmI hope the Republican delegates are smart enough not to visit the local Tampa strip clubs. I am sure MSNBC and others have cameras waiting 24/7 to capture any delegates on tape and contrast that with this prayer room.

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 3:18pmNo worries. It appears terminal a-hole, Occupy supporter, and whoremonger Joe Redner is bleeding money.
http://www.kansascity.com/2012/08/20/3769967/tampas-strip-club-king-weighs.html
I hope he loses a ton of money.
All you need to know about this douchebag is that he owns nearly every sex-oriented business in town, one of his prostitute daughter’s been charged (in 2008) with criminal transmission of HIV. Another daughter and his ex-wife are convicted prostitutes (who work together). A simple bing search of “joe Redner daughter” will verify all you need to see.
Oh, then there’s this: my church spoke out against him opening a strip club less than 2 miles from our campus. He spent an entire day boycotting us outside the church spouting hateful language, replying to “God bless you” with “Joe says F-k you” (not surprisingly, he’s an Atheist), and literally spitting in the faces of people who volunteered to bring him some water.
The man is Satan-spawn.

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 2:41pmJust dawned on me –
ANY of you guys out there have an “in” at the RNC convention – text a Conservative and pass the word – Have them ALL cheer “PRESIDENT RYAN!” when he steps up on the stage. If THAT doesn‘t chill Romney’s uncontrollable urge to pacify the McCain wing of the Repubs, nothing will. PASS THE WORD!

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 3:13pmLOL. Now that’s really FUNNY!!! Watching party line Romney voters eat their own is priceless.
Romney and the RNC are doing “serious business” by stealing the peoples inclusion in the delegation process.
One needs to go join OWS for acting like an idiot by showing his understanding of the Chicago style campaign they are running. The other is deciding to remain an idiot.

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 2:38pmIndeed. With the differences between the Tea Party and OWS as apparent as the ones between Middle earth and Mordor in the Lord of the Rings, who needs Hollywood? Look around yourself for a tale between two diametrically opposed forces battling one another.

Posted on August 28, 2012 at 3:04pmMitt Romney is bowing his head to Satan and praying for a victory over mankind’s freedom. If you believe Romney is a conservative you are in a sad confused state of mind. This man has dirt all over himself. He and the RNC are at this very moment removing the people from the delegation process and replacing them with hand picked delegates chosen by the RNC.
It would be much safer for you to put your faith in God. Do not put it behind this man because he is in this for himself. The RNC is playing you all like a fiddle and its shameful to yourselves and painful for the rest of us to watch.
