Christie—why wait for a president who doesn’t care about anyone but himself and what he wants to come up with the things you said he should have. He did not become the president because he cares about anyone or anything in this country. He got in there to turn this country into a communist nation and ruin it . And he has done everything he can so far to that end. To think he would really do anything for the good of this nation is ridiculous.

The president would have to disolve his politburo before he would ever be able to move right. Even then they would suround him and… does the Ides of March ring any bells?

Even Christie misunderstands what Rush meant about wanting Obama to fail. Of course we want our country to succeed, but it can only succeed if Obama’s policies fail; if they succeed, our country fails. C’mon Chris — get with it!

No, he’s strategically right to take that tack. What works for a pundit will not work for a politician. A politician has to lead a coalition. He can’t frighten off part of it. Reagan knew this. The people will en masse only respond well to largely possitive messages, not negative ones. Even if the negative message is correct it needs to be articulated in a possitive form. Christie is not really disagreeing with Rush, not in substance. Rush was saying that he wanted Obama’s bad policies to fail to be achieved. Christie is saying that he wants Obama to succeed at solving our problems, implying for those that can connect the dots that Obama’s present policies are not the way to be successful. He leaves it open whether Obama even wants to succeed that way while Rush makes clear he believes Obama doesn’t want that type of success.

I love this guy…witty, satirical, logical, well-spoken, and always armed with the facts. People say President Obama is “charismatic,” but when I think of Charisma, I think of the qualities listed above, among others. I do not think of the ability to say lots of words without conveying any meaning whatsoever, or the ability to respond to a question while avoiding actually answering it at all, which is all Obama — and many politicians, on both sides of the aisle — do. It all comes back to the old standard of “ethos, logos, and pathos” (although I do prefer things to be heaviest on the logos side).

There are a great many American taxpayers/citizens who are disappointed by the lack of leadership from our President. Chris Christie took New Jersey by storm and moved forward, unwavering, and tenacious. He is obviously our last best hope. We need someone who can articulate the problems with all the fancy rhetoric and political correctness–and stand in front of us with delineated plans to save our country. Christie is the one!

I’M hoping his constant forceful statements that he will not run are just to keep the media hounds at bay and not to get dragged into the campaign rat race too early. Wait until the time is right to declare. It would have worked for Fed Thompson if he had followed up with a campaign AFTER he declared.

Hot air from naysayer. What else is new on the Blaze? Entitlements: we put in to get out, later on in life. They are entitled to those that put in. We need to reform this system and get rid of all those dead-weight people who grub, manipulate, and take advantage of entitlements. Legal reform, tort reform, and using an axe to slice out all those who take more then they put in.

Not if he’s too stupid this far into the game to be “disappointed” with his president. If he‘s doesn’t have a clue who and what the president is, and what his agenda is for destroying this country, he certainly isn’t perceptive enough to defend our freedoms, the constitution, and the free market system against just such enemies. It begs the question just what doesn’t he know at this point, or what does he believe about government. I’ve heard he is in favor of gun control…not exactly a constitutional conservative?

Calls for leadership are code words. They mean, we want you to make the first move toward cutting SS, Medicare and Medicaid, since these are popular programs that will hurt you politically, so we want you to take that hit before we do or rather than us. It is remarkable how many members of the GOP have chosen this exact word choice in the last week, and it can only be explained by a coordinated effort using the same talking points. I’ve no doubt that these are code words, which are highly predictable given teh political risks associated with attempting to cut the main programs that millions of Americans like and want to keep, but who are not willing to pay full fare for them.

It‘s amazing that ’we‘ can still manage to produce such a great leader in this country since we’ve become such a bunch of mealy-mouthed, politically correct, soft-assed, cowardly, effeminate, dependent, corrupt, decadent bunch of self-deceivers. Maybe I‘m wrong and that’s just the ‘cover’ story… :) Maybe, just maybe, there is a ray of hope after all. I still have a bug-out location with a year’s worth of food and ammunition though. There will be a cleansing- one way or another, you know. The sand isn’t deep enough to continue to hide in. We can do it the “easy” way or we can do it the “hard” way.
