‘Disgraceful!’: Beck Hater Disrupts National Anthem to Protest

A Tea Party event on Wednesday was interrupted when a man carrying a sign saying “Make Beck Cry, Vote Sane!” marched in front of rally goers during the singing of the National Anthem. He then positioned himself and his anti-Beck message between the American flag and the crowd:

Gateway Pundit includes a testimonial:

On October 27, the Tea Party Express rally in St. Louis begins with the National Anthem. A man protesting against the Tea Party makes his way between the audience and the American flag while waving his signs which mock Glenn Beck. He stations himself on a ledge in the fountain right in full view of Patriots saluting our nation’s flag. Some people have no class.

Disgraceful!

It is just another example of the difference in faith, hope and charity between those on the left and those on the right (with the exception of the occasional nut on both sides). I am so thankful I was raised and live on the right side! God help us if we do not stop the progressives and take back our country! I am tired of tip-toeing around the word Democrat when these idiots act out. The Democratic party is apparently the New Communist Party and that includes everyone that is voting the Democratic ticket. The Democratic agenda flies in the face of everything America stands for and they should be treated as such. I am going to start asking every Democrat I know when did they turn Communist. Until the “so-called” regular Democrats start acting like Americans and votes these idiots out of office, they are going to all be considered Communist in my book.

If he wanted to carry a sign couldn’t he have put it down and sang the National Anthem. But my bet is since he didn’t bother, he is not a patriot. He doesn’t really love our country. Some bitter old hippy that never got over “Peace Brother, Peace.” and his hatred of the military or whatever he was rioting over. Maybe he lost his mind on drugs and still smokes weed. Not patriotic but then our president doesn’t hold his hand over his heart when it is played either and will not wear a flag pen as he might offend someone.

I recited the Ten Commandments in school and learned the meaning of all of them. We read a Bible scripture over the intercom each morning before the Pledge of Allegiance, we had a Nativity play at Christmas – what is wrong with that if you include other religions as well. Many children are not learning honesty and integrity at home because of their parents lack of religious experience so why not include it in school with other activities.

I feel it is important to state that I am not against having a moment of prayer/silence in the classroom, however things have gotten to the point where teachers are being harassed or disciplined for having Bibles or pencils with Scripture verses, or any of the other ridiculous things that have actually happened in our schools, it’s wrong.

I much prefer to look at my sons standing there because to me, that is the true “Hope” of our nation! They will grow to be men who love this country and bring forth the “Change” to restore honor, respect, patriotism, and values that make the United States of America the best and blessed nation in the entire world!

True story: My family and I were leaving the Union Station Mall when we saw a decent sized group of activists outside chanting “We want…….Healthcare!! We want……Healthcare!!”. My three year old son began chanting “Healfkeer!!…….Healfkeer!!”. It was hilarious to me and my wife to see my three year old with as much maturity as grown ups who were demanding something without earning it. Priceless!

Steverino I agree whole heartedly with your summation of the disrespectable jerk that thinks he is a show stopper when the National Anthem is played are sung. But since I‘m a Christian I don’t believe I should express my feelings with harsh words for those who not only have no class but are also completely void of character and integrity. It’s very hard not to strike out at those who would deface the American flag and dishonor those who through the centuries have sacrificed their lives so that the JERK ( definition-stupid or foolish person) with the sign can express HIS free speech. Shame on him for being so rude and for making a big jackass out of himself. I’m sure his Mom and Dad are real proud of him. Ha

The good news is .. after he made his protest he desposed of his sign properly on the ground like most people who say they care for the enviroment, and then a rally member picked it up and put it in the trash.

His sign says he doesn’t like Beck.
His timing says he doesn’t like our nation.
I’ll go out on a limb and suggest he could have waited until after the National Anthem, walked to the front of the stage and had everyones attention then. He would have been closer and his sign could have been seen clearer. He was either an idiot for walking so far, or he specifically wanted to disrespect the anthem.
I’m glad no one rushed him. It give the camera a good view of America’s biggest problem!

I agree … what an ass. He respects America and the Flag and the anthem just like his leader — not at all.

Freedom of speech folks. If we want ours, we have to accept theirs no matter how foolish it is, not matter how mean spirited it is.

Does anybody even understand the meaning of Disrespectful anymore???? It has been so watered down that people accept anything… here it is from Websters: Disrespect – lack of respect or politeness; rudeness. How is placing yourself and hate language in front of a crowd pledging their allegance to our flag while joining in with the National Anthem polite? Have we all lost our minds? Rude is Rude!

      To Common Sense Sally,
We have the right to free speech. Where is the right to be heard found? Do not thank him for not behaving worse. That just gives him the attention he wants. He should be IGNORED if he is peaceful or perhaps used by parents as an example of an attention grabbing fool. If he does not stay peaceful, jail him and let him practice his free speech on his cell mate.

If Republicans win the Congress as expected, as soon as it is offical, my neighborhood will be displaying our American flags. I wish everyone would, so we can show Obama what we are all about.

Some of you are missing the LARGER point. Very few here are disputing his RIGHT to exercise free speech by doing just that. However, there are a few things, AS AMERICANS, that can/used to unite us… and those are things such as the Pledge of Allegiance, or the National Anthem. What the guy did is a disgrace to ways to Sunday.

Am I telling the thought police to arrest this man, LOL… um no. But Just as he has a right to free speech, so do I in saying that guy is nothing less than a scumbag.

Has anyone noticed that everyone that incites violence or disrupts a public gathering is a Progressive? And they try to say that Republicans are uneducated radicals. I guess they must be friends with those supposedly nice peaceful muslims that blow up crowded marketplaces.

What’s the difference in posting the disrespectful language to those you dissagree with here as opposed to a sign you carry at a rally? NONE! We shouldn’t substitute one format for another, the left can get there ammo here just as easy. Is the Forty Day Challenge over?

@52tucker – You seem to miss the point, it was the national anthem and he was trying to upstage the flag. What “works” any real american up is disrespect to the symbols of freedom. He was clearly utilizing his freedom to disrespect the flag, it is his right to utilize that freedom. He does not have the right to avoid the consequences of his actions and niether do you nor do I.
