Disgruntled Teacher Arrested After She ‘Chucked’ Hash Browns at a McDonald’s Worker

McDonalds Customer Chucks Hash Browns Through Drive Thru Window

After receiving her McDonald’s order Saturday morning, Florida middle school teacher Simone Paolercio was not “lovin’ it.”

Paolercio has been charged with a misdemeanor and arrested for throwing her $20 order through a drive-thru window at a McDonald’s manager following a dispute.

Surveillance video caught the exchange and a McDonald’s employee told the Polk County Sheriff’s Office that the argument was over two hash browns. Paolercio later admitted that she “chucked” some of her food items through the window when her refund demand was rejected. The projectile fast food hit the manager in the face and chest according to investigators.

The Smoking Gun writes that the woman is a sixth-grade teacher at Lakeland Highlands Middle School, and was booked into the county jail Saturday only to released from custody Sunday.

    Evolutionary forces in Republic-type societies suppress the propagation of violent genes, as they create conflict within the working group, resulting in inefficiency, and a loss of competitiveness with neighboring societies.

    A lack of societal competitiveness typically manifests itself with the weaker society eventually establishing a fiat currency, which creates hyper-inflation and then some degree of societal collapse. At this point in the human cycle, a more disciplined neighboring society invades, and takes the gold and grain. Women deemed to be of sexual worth are taken, the other left behind. Surviving members of the weaker society, if there are any, usually are very mean to each other, as they fight for the scraps in a struggle to make it through the winter.

    Perhaps our Teacher of Children knows this and is continuing a carbo-loading spree that appears to have started a while ago. It is noted that on the East Coast, hash browns are 2/$1 so this would be 40 hash browns, each with a caloric count of 150. In aggregate, this would be 6000 calories, or enough to sustain and build her body mass until, at least, lunchtime.

      Seriously, she looks like she could use a few less hashbrowns,and some makeup,and an attitude adjustment. But I feel bad for her.She is probably scraping by on 90k a year, full benefits, a great pension plan,working nine monthes a year ( with no chance of ever getting fired).OMG the stress of a public school teacher.

      @Barnsy:I won’t dispute that this woman is an idiot and has no business teaching kids, but if you think that Florida public school teachers are making $90k a year, you are DREAMING!!! I don’t think they make even half of that here.

      All I can say is that it is entirely her fault for even stopping at McDonalds. What McDonalds serves is not fit for human consumption. For a long time the only decent things that they had to serve there was their french fries and their shakes and even those two have went very badly downhill recently.

      Hey CATB: A teacher once told me that she had taught the 4th grade for 15 years, in an attempt to convince me what a brilliant teacher she was.

      I disagreed, explaining that she had taught 4th grade ONCE, and repeated it 14 additional times. What a life.

    And? So what! It seems awfully stupid to arrest someone for such a thing. When I was a teenager for a time I worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken (of course it wasn’t the lazy version “KFC” back then), and I remember several times customers throwing food at other workers (not me though because I was good). Then I worked for McDonalds whereby there were several events I remember of people slamming their drinks all over the counter, and having to duck an occasional flying cheeseburger. But in all that, nobody was arrested.

      Sooo, does all that thrown food get recycled/resold to customers? It’s a shame to throw perfectly good junk food in the trash, just because someone tossed it upon a fast food manager. There are starving people in the world who are “dying” for a happy meal – or rather, lack of a happy meal. A person who‘d throw a perfectly good hash brown can’t be very hungry.

    In my (imaginary) company, the customer is always right and if an employee chooses to calling the police over an argument with a customer over a couple of hash browns, he or her would be FIRED instantly.

    The parents of the children this woman teaches need to first ask each one of their kids how she behaves toward them, then demand her dismissal. She obviously does not need to be in a position of trust with children. If she can not control herself in public how does she act with those kids when no other adult is around?
