DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz Absolutely Doesn‘t Want to Talk About Jimmy Hoffa’s Speech No Matter How Many Times Gretchen Carlson Asks

Jimmy Hoffa may be firmly standing by his “take the son of a bitches out” call to political arms in Detroit on Monday, but not everyone wants to talk about it.
“Fox & Friends” anchor Gretchen Carlson tried gamely to get DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz to address to vitriol at the Obama Labor Day event. The DNC Chair went into major avoidance mode. Again and again:
Her appearance was ostensibly about Obama’s upcoming jobs announcement, but Carlson steered the conversation towards Hoffa.
“Some people are saying that that’s violent language, Congresswoman,” she said. Wasserman Schultz declined to comment.
“We need to make sure the we focus on the middle class and working families,” she said. “But wait a minute,” Carlson said. “[Hoffa said] ‘let’s take these sons of bitches out’…and that’s your response?”
“My response is that we should be working together,” Wasserman Schultz said, beginning to talk about jobs. Carlson cut her off.
“I’m talking about what Jimmy Hoffa said yesterday,” she said. “I know you’d like to focus on language–” Wasserman-Schultz replied.
“it was very serious language!” Carlson said. Wasserman Schultz actually laughed at this.
“Are you kidding me?” she said. “You take a walk with me through Tea Party rallies.” After more crosstalk, Wasserman Schultz turned her aim on Carlson.
“How many times have you called out coarse language at Tea Party rallies on this network. Almost never,” she said. “Plenty,” Carlson shot back. “I sit in the middle of the couch. I’m fair and balanced, Debbie. What is your response?”
Give Carlson credit for trying…CNN‘s John King actually had Hoffa on as a guest last night and didn’t even ask about the remarks!
Hoffa appeared on John King USA to discuss the labor movement and the Tea Party’s place in it after his speech today– from which the controversial clip was played to introduce the guest. But that was where any discussion of the rhetoric ended, and instead King turned to President Obama’s rhetoric, and asked whether Hoffa was satisfied with the more fiery tone exhibited today. He was, and he explained that, to him, “there really is no dealing with the Tea Party– you can’t be reasonable with people that are unreasonable.” He suggested he didn’t see any “middle ground” and the voters who had given the Tea Party strength in Congress were likely regretting it. “I think people are aware now that this group is after them,” he contended, via their opposition to significant funding for entitlement programs.

Gretchen quotes Hoffa as saying, “…let’s take these son of a bitches out…” as if he were calling for violence. His entire quote was, “Everybody here’s got to vote. If we go back and keep the eye on the prize, let’s take these son of a bitches out and give America back to America where we belong! Thank you very much!”
Fox left out the part where Hoffa makes it clear he’s talking about the need to vote and taking the SOBs out of office. The quote was cropped to make it sound like he advocating violence. Pitiful.
Context is important folks. Fair and balanced? No, this is yellow journalism at it worst.

Talking points that don’t even have a bearing on the question asked. Then the insulting “I’d like to answer your question” after completely avoiding answering the question. Then when she can’t get away with just reciting talking points she launches the deflection- “are you kidding me what about the language of the tea parties”..“have you taken the tea parties to task” with a condescending smile. Joe Biden – Always can count on him to utter some words of wisdom..Just like the time that he made a statement about the Great Depression in which he remembered Franklin Delano Roosevelt going on the television to ease everyone’s worries.
First of all, the Great Depression was triggered by the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and according to the history books, Herbert Hoover was President from 1929-1933 and then Roosevelt was elected for the first of four terms. Roosevelt later went on to have his Fireside Chats which were on the radio, to my knowledge not on television.
What really bugs me about Biden is that whenever he makes a ridiculous or erroneous statement, everyone just laughs it off and chalks it up to being Biden.
However, individuals like Dan Quayle or Christine O’Donnell make one ridiculous or humorous statement, and they are crucified for life for it. Such a complete double standard and no one ever seems to call them on it.
I have no party affiliation at all but I am getting really sick and tired of the bias and the double standard. Sometimes I wonder what kind of Kool-Aid these people are drinking in order to believe the ridiculous diatribe they are spewing.

But according to Florida motor vehicle records, the Wasserman Schultz household owns a 2010 Infiniti FX35, a Japanese car whose parent company is Nissan, another Japanese company. The car appears to be hers, since its license plate includes her initials.
Not to be outdone in the “stupid democrat politician” stakes…Obama’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis junked her limo and bought a Chevy Equinox to ride around Washington in.
She was very pleased with herself, telling the Christian Science Monitor, “What better example could I set if I encouraged my staff to go and purchase and seek how we could acquire a vehicle that would for me would send a signal that we’re for supporting our American workers, American-made products, fuel efficient as well.”

If conservatives were intellectually honest you would remember no liberals attacked Palin for putting crosshairs on Gifford’s district. They choose to look at the context and realized albeit it was a poor choice of wording there was nothing threatening behind it. If you don’t believe me about the violence in the TEA Party just Google Tea Party threats and compare it to George Bush threats. Those prices that are said to be the costs for the ‘care’ part of your health (labs, operations, etc)?…….. They are arbitrary, and no way anyone knows the true costs. For a health plan insurer to say that a certain procedure’s cost is such and such is completely bogus. They all have different ‘prices’ for the same procedure.
99% of costs (Dr visits, tests, same-day surgery,etc) are under $5,000?yr. So….if you buy a lower-deductible policy and pay the higher premium for it, you were just ‘had’ by the insurer, since they already know the average cost per person/fam is way down there. They make $$$ on your anxiety.
