DNC Chair: ‘Pretty Happy’ With Private Sector Job Growth

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz Tells Fox News John Roberts That She is Pretty Happy With the State of the Private Sector

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz seemingly had her own “doing fine” moment on Fox News Sunday, where she said she was “pretty happy” with the state of the private sector.

Fox News’ John Roberts began: “So then, is the suggestion that we should just do keep doing the same thing?  There’s that old definition of doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result…”

Wasserman Schultz assertively responded: “What we should do… I’m pretty happy about 28 straight months of job growth in the private sector.”  [Emphasis added]

The timing coincided with former White House spokesperson Robert Gibbs’ admission that “we‘re not growing fast enough and we’re not adding enough jobs.”

Fox’s Roberts immediately pointed out that only 80,000 jobs were added last month, and 69,000 the month before that.  Moreover, June’s job report marked the 32nd time that the White House urged voters to ignore employment data, and unemployment remains at 8.2%.

A Romney spokesperson responded to the campaign’s earlier claim that we are “going in the right direction” with a sarcastic email, writing: “Seriously?”

“It requires adding about 130-150k jobs a month to simply keep up with population growth; only 80k jobs is LOSING [sic] ground.”

The communists like Debby Schultz and the rest of the dumbocrats don’t want private sector jobs, they want government jobs such as the 16,000 IRS agents used to police Obamacare, more EPA enforcers, more food police for the schools and the list goes on and on and on.

I am glad Debbie Wasserman Schultz is pleased with the private sector job growth but I am pretty sure the private sector isn’t happy with private sector job growth, it goes to show how out of touch Debbie Wasserman Schultz really is.

      I watched this interview…she actually said that we’re at a net plus in jobs right now. The economy has lost jobs and Wasserman Schultz thinks we’re in a surplus of them. The woman is insane..she’ll say anything that pops into her frizzy head.

    Yes it is doing much better. I was able to find a part time job that has hired me for a total of 15 to 20 hours a week at 10 bucks an hour.

    So now I work this job m-f in the am and that now lets me go home and then get ready for my night job of another 3 hrs a few nights a week.

    I used to work one job at 40 hrs wk and make 32,000 (a lot, no but for me it paid the bills).

    But yeah, things are looking up. In a few months the way things are going, I might be able to find a weekend job as well.

      Comrade, everything must be wonderful because Dear Leader has released his pet snake to tell you so, right!
      I believe he is claiming that they have created something like three million jobs since he’s been Dear Leader. Of course just to stay even the economy needs roughly 10,560,000 jobs during that time span. So that means that he has made over 7,500,000 people happy because they now get to sit home and watch daytime tv, provided they found a way to pay their cable bill, or the television wasn’t repossessed!
      Isn’t Dear Leader just wonderful! He is looking out for you by helping you leave the trials and tribulations of middle class life behind so you can now enjoy the largess of the state. If you are really lucky they might have some beautiful run down state run housing for you to move into in one of the less fortunate (meaning crime ridden) parts of town!
      Everyone should vote for Dear Leader that way we can all enjoy the wonderful things he is bringing to America!
      Elections have consequences, and to many Americans are idiots! That is why our founding fathers set up a republic not a democracy and that is precisely why the Communists have turned us into what they had feared most, a democracy!

      How many of those jobs were through a temp agency?
      Query me this if I get a job through a temp agency today work for say a month, get laid off, then sent back out to a new three week job is that a new job created? Does that constitude 2 jobs created even though one is now gone? There is no unemployment involved
