‘Do The Right Thing!’: Watch a Fiery Beck Unload on Spike Lee for Tweeting Address of Elderly Couple

On his Wednesday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck unleashed a fiery tirade against Spike Lee after the controversial movie director tweeted what he assumed was George Zimmerman’s home address. Many think the move reckless under any circumstances, however, matters were made far worse when it turned out the address Lee sent out to his entire list of Twitter followers was wrong, belonging not to Zimmerman but an elderly couple with no relation to the shooter.

Now that family has been forced to leave their home and may not be able to return soon if ever as they “fear for their life.”

Beck slammed Lee for his reckless decision and said he would be ultimately responsible if anything were to happen to the couple. He also said that Lee should foot the bill for the couple’s hotel, relocation, and even buy their house, as it will surely be difficult if not impossible to sell after his antics.

This was a monologue for the record books. Watch below:

Glenn Beck can complain all he wants to but in two previous articles on The Blaze his editors posted the same address. And the second time they already knew it was the wrong address.

How is Spike Lee guilty of posting the incorrect address and Beck is completely innocent?

Consider the fact that the postings (known erroneous) were simply repating the “tweet” or “retweet” made by Spike Lee. If you are defending the race baiting africanamerican Lee, there is no defense.

There are two standards as we can see from the Trayvon Martin case. One standard the left and the media being able to do whatever they please and the other standard is that anyone else is wrong without any discussion. Hypocrisy!

@optimist4now, the original tweet not come from Spike Lee. He re-tweeted it.

How is Beck any less guilty than Spike Lee? They each did the same thing.

If you type “Zimmerman”s address” into Google one of the results you get is The Blaze from three days ago. In fact, its on the first page.

Beck is hypocritical. irresponsible and no less guilty if something should happen to the couple at the address he keeps posting, He should take action and redact this address immediately.

@BLACK9897: You’re absolutely right! THIS is why people should shut the hell up and let the system work! ENOUGH of the hatred, threats, and laying “blame” without all the evidence!

@PROLIANCE: First, it was Mr. Lee who tweeted the (wrong!) address, NOT Glenn Beck! All Glenn (and other media) did was report the fact.

Second, I don’t read every single comment posted in the article reporting Mr. Lee’s tweet, but I don‘t think I’ve seen ANY comments saying, “Let’s go get that b@stard!” Glenn’s intent in posting the information was to call attention to Mr. Lee’s STUPIDITY in posting that tweet. On the other hand, Mr. Lee’s intent in posting that information was to incite people to threaten and possibly harm Mr. Zimmerman.

I agree with Glenn… Mr. Lee should now be PERSONALLY responsible for ensuring that poor ELDERLY couple’s safety, and should reimburse them for ANY expenses they have (or will) incur due to his stupidity! No, a mere apology is NOT enough at this point! And, if something awful should happen to that poor couple, Mr. Lee should be held CRIMINALLY NEGLIGENT or charged as an accessory!

Glenn’s rant was more about the purpose of the story not so much about a piece of dung like Spike lee.
Spike will no doubt get his just dues in court. He is just a perfect stupid idiot that made a perfect mistake at the perfect time. How stupid can somebody get. It is amazing sometimes.
But if you were listening he is saying that the left wing agenda is in your face and you better wake up!
They don’t care about this shooting for the reasons (SPIN) they use to incite people to riot. No!
This is just a vehicle to advance the agenda.
Like it or not the left wing radicals are in charge right now and most people are completely oblivious to the danger it poses! We are frogs in the boiling water!
This is why I am trying to help wake people up with my music.

The difference is that Lee posted the wrong address, labeling it as Zimmerman’s address, with the intent to cause havoc, if not injury. The Blaze reported it as the huge mistake it was–which hopefully would decrease the number of idiots gathering there & harassing the residents.

Not what fits there agenda. It’s high time we start fighting fire with fire by reporting the truth and the hypocrisy of the race baiting racist left. No one knows the whole truth of what happened with this incident yet the racist left will grab on to anything they think they can get mileage in their desire to start a race war. They know the left wing lying media will never report facts ethically.

The usual suspects turned the incident in Florida into a media circus. Glenn is simply commenting on the show. I work at an institution of higher learning and I‘ve been rubbing everyone’s nose in the agitprop nonsense and racial pandering. They don’t like it anymore than you like what Glenn is doing, but there is one problem for them and you. There isn’t damned thing you can do to stop it. Maybe in the future the racial panderers will act like civilized human beings rather than instigators of violence and vandalism, but I doubt it.

No, it’s not time to try and make two wrongs into a right. It’s time for the law abiding to continue acting like it. Treat all with respect. Those proven unworthy of it, ignore and shun. Those proven to be criminal, imprison. Those coming to your home and threatening you, your family, your property, terminate them. Legal. Constitutional. Ethical. Moral. Simple.

I still don’t know if Trayvon was murdered or not and I tihnk that there is too much spin and missinformation out there being reported by the media(blaze included).

He is only following Obama’s lead, blame the guy in California that originally tweeted him. He did nothing wrong, shoot, he will also tell you he personally knows a lot of Nigerian Princes, but that’s a secret. Spike also will profess he has grown his male member magically 3 full inches, and is making thousands of dollars, just sitting at home with a computer. He also belonsg to a great website that matches him up with Cougars, and they are really rich and good looking, they send him pictures, and he sends them thousands of dollars.
