Does Huckabee‘s ’Things Will Get Even Crazier’ E-Mail Hint at His Prez Decision?

Mike Huckabee has been playing up his upcoming 2012 presidential announcement, which he will make tonight on his program on the Fox News Channel, all week. During that time he’s shrouded the decision in secrecy and suspense. But now, an e-mail he sent to his inner circle has surfaced, and it could hint that he’s leaning toward running.

Even up until last night, Huckabee was hyping the decision to fellow Fox personality Neil Cavuto. According to Huckabee, he made the decision last night and had just informed his family. They’re the only ones that know, however, and his executive producer won’t even know until he announces on TV. In shorty, he wouldn’t tip his hand to Cavuto:

But that was on TV. TIME magazine has just released an e-mail Huckabee sent to his inner circle on Friday. In it, he explains some of what he told Cavuto, but he also includes some information that seems to hint at a run.

“Tomorrow night (Saturday) I will announce the next step in my plans for 2012 during my show on the Fox News Channel,” the letter opens. “I would like to be able to call you or email you personally and in advance of the announcement, but due to the fact that the decision was not finalized until today and that I committed to Fox that I will absolutely not release it prior to doing so on the channel, that became impractical.”

Then near the end comes the curious part:

Many friends have said, “how can we help you in the decision?” My answer has consistently been, “Pray that I have clarity.” I have it and will share it Saturday night during the show. Please be patient if I don’t respond immediately to an email because I expect that once I pull the trigger Saturday night, things will get even crazier, as if that’s possible.

He says he will “pull the trigger” and “things will get even crazier.” Interesting. And as anyone who’s covered an election knows, what’s crazier than election season?

I think that if we are going to tear apart every republican that tries to take office we will only succeed in giving the dems the oval office and possibly the senate. We have an opportunity here to take both and should be working towards that goal. Now that Mr. Beck has taken the time to open all of our eyes to the work the progressives are attempting to achieve, we can fight back and win. We are the only generation that has the abillity as we are the majority at this point in time. We have an opportunity to change the course because we have not been indoctrinated with the lifestyle. The next generation though has been and we must undo that and the only way it will happen is if we conservative Americans stick together. We must make sure the house and senate do our bidding and that the man we will call President has the ability and desire to take America into the future as the leader she has always been. Our President must represent us to the world. The President must be able to show that we are a strong resourceful nation that has compassion and understanding for the differences in us all. We must all remember that these politicians represent us, and are there to do our bidding, not the other way around. The best person for the job, is the one that wants Mr. Beck as the Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff!

For what it’s worth, you’ll never get the nomination since you let that animal African American murderer go and kill those cops in Washington state. You and all the other liberal metal handicaps that think the animals living among us deserve something besides incarceration for life in order to keep us humans safe against their animal-like behavior are wrong and will be dealt with, in time! Being on Fox news or not does not make you special, you still suck you liberal politician. I’ll vote for you Huck. I think some people use the p-word too much, so much so that it’s like the “boy who cried wolf.” One has to remember that Huckabee had a heavily democratic legislature that he had to work with. I’m not trying to make excuses, just pointing out a fact. Huck, the same people that use the p-word on you are most likely the one’s who put McCain at the top of the ticket in the last election, don’t listen to them.

Although The Huck does occasionally says the right things (I mean, ANYBODY who slams nut-job matthews has some good qualities), fact is he is totally, completely unequivocally UNACCEPTABLE as a presidential candidate.

The Huck is an ABSOLUTE, GUARANTEED, 100% LOSER if he runs for president. WHY? Just look at his pathetic actions and positions (which, unfortunately, remain largely UNKNOWN):

    1. The Huck’s multiple pardons and releases of convicted rapists and murderers when he was governor. Thanks to Huck, these murderers and rapists were able to kill and rape again.
    2. The Huck’s support for massive TAX INCREASES when he was governor and his total failure to cut a penny of state spending (sounds like a d-crat socialist, doesn’t it?)
    3. The Huck’s SUPPORT for “for the first time in my life I am proud of my country” michelle’s NANNY STATE dementia. (The Huck ALSO wants the government to tell you what to wear, what to eat, what to think, what to drive, what to carry groceries in, what box to check in elections, what to drink, what to do every moment of every day…. just like a lunatic-lefty)
    4. The Huck thinks that Rev. “God Damn America” wright, “You Lie!” hussein’s vile, racist mentor for 20+ years, should not get any focus from conservatives.

The Huck is one of the MOST PATHETIC choices for president America has ever had (except for “You Lie!” hussein, of course.)

I watched Huckabee on O’reilly last evening. He is an intelligent man, yet he is a perfect example
as to why most people are unable to see the real Obama. He indicated that Obama knew nothing about business and what it took to create jobs. That is completely wrong. Obama knows what it taks to create jobs. Consequently he knows precisely how to abort job creation. His background and upbringing was under the influence of Marxists. Capitalism to him and those around him, is something to be destroyed. But first you must rid our society of the middle class, which he is doing on a daily basis. He knows exactly what he is doing. The so called smart people do not see this, or in most cases they don’t have the ba–s to say so.

One must remember that the establishment didn’t like Huckabee in the last election because his following was a ground swell of support. Right on. Huck is glib, diplomatic, articulate, decent, and socially conservative if that’s your thing. He is also old, unhealthy, and his record is troubling. While Ark. Gov., he 1.) raised taxes 2). commuted death row sentences multiple times. One got out and murdered again last year in Washington state. I fear his compassion as a minister would overrule the day when push came to shove as a leader. How Bush was so outstanding. But against Obamanation, yeah, any day. Put him in the Cabinet. West would politely tell them to kiss his a$$ and then slap them on the back a little too hard…so they’d get the point.

What is it with you West groupies. The topic is Huckabee. Not West.

I think the Huck should endorse West or Caine. Then hope he is chosen to be an adviser to them.

      He’s not running.
It’s said he will make his announcment on his show.
It’s against the law to make an announcment to run for president on a show with your name on it.

SAY IT LIKE IT IS, SAM et al. Huckelberry is just another MOUTH but nothing else. He is a RINO, he is progressive appeaser like McCain who should step aside RIGHT NOW…let someone who can DO something for the State of AZ run…maybe BREWER and replace him. I’ve always been put off by the fact that as a Preacher first, why did he LEAVE GOD‘S CALLING to get into Politics instead of doing GOD’S work. Always bothered me…plus this man has learned how to speak out of every side of his mouth and he treats his wife like s. This is an inflated ego walkin’. I want PALIN/CAIN or TRUMP/CAIN and I agree with Smartgirl …we have lots of good people to fill the CABINET who can actually get things done…not those COMMIE clowns that the punk in the WH now has. LET these second tier guys slug it out, but don’t give them money, we’ll need it to defeat the first COMMIE ever elected to serve in the WH.

Huckleberry is a WORM. McCain and Him teamed against Mitt in S.Carolina and Obama won. BO might have won anyway, but those two are AssClowns = Progressives.

I WILL STAY HOME IF HUCKLEBERRY RUNS – - – - – CAN YOU HEAR ME MIKE?

I don’t understand how any one even wants to run against Ron Paul. He has the record, the knowledge, and the crazy grass root support. Don’t know why anyone would want to vote for anyone but Ron Paul.

He is the very least of all of the other candidates. I would even put Donald Trump ahead of him. I think this guy is even more so about himself than Donald Trump is. How could anyone support this guy when he showed very poor judgement in pardoning more criminals while Governor of Arkansas than the three previous Governors combined, and one of them other Governors was Bill Clinton. Some of those pardons involved cold blooded murders. I cannot even begin to believe that anyone would support this creep.

i voted yes. and i very much like Huckabee……but I would much prefer DONALD TRUMP…………because Donald is a mover an shaker, and can do what an Elijah did in the New Testament, and get rid of, and kill the false prophets of Jezabel and her underlings…….meaning, obama and his emasculated henchman….obama and all of his cronies, are dark, evil and nothing short of an emzsculated breed, void of testosterone, and morals….not to mention cajones to take care of our nation. No, I did not say that Donald Trump was neccessary a moral man, but he is bred for success, he does have a strong backbone, and can fix unashamedly and unafraid , with great courage and passion, our nation that is quickly going up in flames.

Do I like Huckabee…….HECK YES!!!!!…..actually if it was a Trump-Huckabee ticket OR a Trump-Palin ticket that would be perfect.

Having said that, Huckabee IS A MAN OF GOD!!! I greatly respect him, and would vote for him IF Donald Trump was not on the ticket, or Sarah Palin.

I would NOT VOTE FOR romney, jeb bush, bachman, pawlenty, mitch rino daniels, gingrich, santorum, or any other rino, including allen west, who shoulc have never voted the way he did two weeks ago……finished in my book…………..we already have the devil in the White House, we don’t need a weakend, wattered down version of him.

      DONALD TRUMP 2012
      SARAH PALIN 2012
      MIKE HUCKABEE 2012

as far as i can tell the rest so far are boring at best…….will not vote

Huckabee needs to sit down and shut up. I’m frankly sick of his progressivism masquerading as conservative. Sadly, many people will vote for him simply because he’s a pastor.

I’ve heard many pastors preach who were definitely not christian. Being a pastor carries no weight in my book. My grandparents even had a unitarian pastor at their old Methodist church.

      @BocaBaby

Trump may be conservative for NYC, but that doesn’t say anything. NYC is home to some of the most radical socialists this side of Moscow. So, even as the most conservative man in NYC, Trump is still a centrist, and that’s not good enough to save this country. He’ll compromise on all sorts of stuff, and he won’t have the resolve to balance the budget.

Huckabee is a progressive. He’s more progressive than Trump. Huckabee supports amnesty and tuition breaks for illegals.

Palin isn’t electable because of the detriment of the character assassination on the part of the liberal media.

My vote is for Herman Cain.

      Huck – 0 | Ron Paul – 1

Huge victory for Ron Paul, the establishment are running out of candidates to push, and if Mitch Daniels does not run either, I feel sorry for Ron Paul’s competition.

It is time to get on board people, to bring true constitutionalism to this country, and get off non issues like Bin Laden’s demise.

      Ron Paul 2012!!!!!!!

He made a good choice. I hope he puts Rep Allen West on his show and encourages him. Also Herman Caine. The battle of this election has the Democrats injecting ‘race’. Last election it was about “change‘ and ’time for a black president’. Obviously it is. So let’s have a REAL patriot like West or a Man who knows economics like Cain. I would also encourage the GOP to look at Rubio.
