Don Imus: Newt Gingrich is a ‘Fat Repulsive Pig…He’s Disgusting’

Veteran radio host Don Imus isn’t one to shy away from telling the world what he really thinks of people, often delivering sharp criticism with his trademark-sarcastic sense of humor.  This time, the target of Imus’ scorn is GOP presidential contender and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Speaking on his radio program Monday, Imus lambasted Gingrich, calling him a “fat, repulsive pig.” He also likened the Republican stalwart to a piece of old deadwood that, when lifted, reveals “a bunch of bugs crawling around and white stuff…that’s Newt Gingrich.”

OK Imus you are a left winged wanna be. I don’t think Nancy would want you on her team… You would be competing against who needs the face lift first.
Newt had more problem solving intelligent i, than you could ever think of in your long lived life.
Go back home and don’t spew out you vial reputation. You make a mockery of the Democratic agenda.

Did you see George Will go after Newt. He tore him apart. ( http://www.thedailycandidate.com/video/2011/nov/will_gingrich_historian.html ) He also tore up Romney and Cain. Who is he, he claims he is a conservative but he invited Obama to his house for a private meeting, he is no Conservative, he is a MSNBC Joe Scarborough Republican.

What makes Gingrich a free market man? Didn’t he support the existence of public-private partnerships as with Freddie/Fannie? Didn’t he get $1.6 million for his efforts?

Doesn’t Gingrich support subsidies to agri-business and ethanol? That’s not consistent with a free market. Didn’t he get a check for lobbying for ethanol?

Didn’t Gingrich support unconstitutional TARP and socialist-Keynesian stimulus?

Doesn’t Gingrich reject free market interest rates and free market gold/silver money in favor of the Federal Reserve and paper currency?

Didn’t Gingrich admit to David Gregory in an interview not too long ago that he was in favor of a health care insurance mandate? Now he says he’s not. Alrighty then!

Didn’t statist Gingrich admit to Greta van Susteren that the housing bubble and collapse took him by surprise? It didn’t take Ron Paul by surprise. He warned about it years in advance.

Has Gingrich ever read Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution? That’s all the power the fed. govt. has by law. Given that, what unconstitutional depart.’s will Gingrich propose eliminating? Ron Paul has proposed 5 in the first year.

What trillion dollar cuts has Gingrich proposed? Ron Paul has a detailed plan for $1 trillion in the first year and balanced budget in 3-years.

All Gingrich offers is rhetoric sans details. How many times do mainline R’s have to get conned?

Maybe Gingrich has been too busy cutting a new commerical for global warming with Pelosi?

I think Gingrich is only a cover for Romney. Every body talking about Newt leaving Mitt in a shadow. Cain is pretty much gone, next in line will be Paul. And this is a situation establishment can’t have. So they show few fake polls with Gingrich surging. Question is, how long he will be in headlines?

My fellow Americans DO NOT FORGET that you can make a poll say anything you want by the way you frame the question and also who you ask. THE CORRUPT MEDIA has been forcing false conservatives on us for so long that there is a pattern that is easy to see if you just look at how they manipulate the people with their propagandized and corrupt coverage and avoidance of the truth and facts. DO NOT BUY THEIR LIES! Karl rove and the same do nothing corrupt establishment that loathes the TEA PARTY. Take an honest look at each canidate, research them, DO NOT rely on the media to tell you who they really are. Look at how they brought the unamerican nwo shill called obama in, The most important thing to look for in a potential president is his understanding of the costitution and his respect and complete devotion to it. If the GOP nominates Gingrich it will be 2008 all over again. The GOP will run an old washed out Washington insider who has spent his life profiting from Big Government. How depressing! John McCain and Gingrich are both old men with bleached blond wives who stand no chance of getting elected. Good luck trying to win that women’s vote Gingrich as well as the Independents and Moderates!

The reason why I say that is because all of Murdoch’s media groups have been negative on Romney from the Wall street Journal to the Weekly Standard.

People really need to research Gingrich themselves and not get upset when presented with Gingrich’s ugly truths by the media. In this case they really should watch multiple news outlets because they will not get the full Gingrich story from FOX since Gingrich was a Fox employee. I guarantee you that if they are for small government and big spending cuts, Gingrich is not the guy.

Good post. As the various candidates have risen in the polls I have done my research on them. I was most surprised what I found when I researched Perry and especially Gingrich. I always thought Gingrich was some small government conservative and he is not! The guy in addition to not being a small government conservative has no moral compass and I believe a strong moral compass is essential for the future president.

Gingrich‘s is a very polarizing figure in politics and he stands no chance of winning the General election as sited by Imus’s opinion of Gingrich. You either like Gingrich or you detest the man and everything he stands for…this doesn’t make a winner for the General Election.

Don Imus talks out of both sides of his mouth. He interviewed John Bolton several months ago and afterward commented how great a guest he was. About 2 weeks ago he called him a muppet and several other derisve names. You would think after the Girls Basketball flap he would have learned. Being forced to kiss Al Sharptons butt would have done it for me.

Why is this repulsive, nasty, unfunny clown still on the radio? Who even listens to him? This is his level of intelligence – calling people fat pigs. I hope his wife finally gets tired of the verbal abuse and leaves his rancid butt.

You know, I’ve tried to figure out the attraction (if that’s the word) to “the I-man” (urp!) It evades me. I find him a mumbling, old, self-deluded has-been, who is neither talented nor interesting. He is the human equivalent of New York Times.

    I agree,
Newt is not the solution he is the problem for he is a Greedy Progressive

Newt appeared in a PSA with Nancy Pelosi, paid for by the Alliance for Climate Protection, which was founded by Al Gore. In that PSA, he said things like: “We do agree, our country must take action to address climate change,“ and ”if enough of us demand action from our leaders, we can spark the innovation we need.”

Newt was a big supporter of mandated health insurance long before Obamacare was passed.

Newt has accepted hefty consulting fees from mortgage giant Freddie Mac. Is he hypocritical? Freddie Mac is a cancer on society. Newt received $30,000-a-month from Freddie Mac until September 2008 when the U.S. Treasury took control of the government-sponsored entity.

House Ethics Committee special counsel recommended that Newt be reprimanded by the full House and pay a $300,000 fine for violating House rules in 1997. The first time in the House’s 208-year history it has disciplined a speaker for ethical wrongdoing. He broke rules by failing to ensure that financing for two projects would not violate federal tax law and by giving the House ethics committee false information.

You ran from Herman Cain for this? Cain is more conservative than Newt can dream about. Matter of fact, I would rather see Romney the RINO than Newt the Salamander.

So was he charged and pay that money? I really don’t care, its anybody but Obama in 2012 and all the crying, whinning, holding your breath till you are blue in the face will not help Obimbo. To even post against another runner against the terd in chief, not necessary. You lost the argument when you posted Greedy, the buzz word of the left. Greedy, are those that want something without working for it.

I suspect you can accuse Newt of a lot of things but progressivism is not one of them. He has perceived baggage, most of which is not true. He has what we need to beat obama and get this country back on track to a smaller government and a return to a constitutional government not an ever expanding one. However, every man or women on that panel is hundreds of times better than obama. His (obama’s) goal is to destroy this constitutional government and install fascism with him as the fuhrer.

I couldn’t agree more, Delta. Newt IS a progressive. People don’t seem to care that he wants to FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM our government system. They don’t seem to care that he made many changes to how our Congress works while Speaker that caused a lot of greif. They seem to forget that his original contract EXCLUDED the Senate so many of the proposals NEVER passed. And they don‘t care that he’s going to run the Executive Branch exactly as all the previous RINOs and Obummer does – with massive amounts of Executive Orders.
Newt aint just a salamander, he’s a snake.
