Donald Trump: Rivals‘ Refusal to Get Behind Romney ’Disgraceful’

Donald Trump’s never been known to mince words, nor to care about conventional wisdom. And now that the Donald has become a power broker in the GOP, he’s had a lot of opportunities to put his blunt, confrontational style to work in attacking rivals of his chosen candidate, Mitt Romney.
However, probably no one has been hit as hard by the Donald’s acid tongue as Rick Santorum. For instance, after the former Senator’s surprise wins in Colorado, Missouri and Minnesota, Trump scoffed at him as though he hadn’t won anything, comparing him to a student who failed out of high school, yet wants to go to the Wharton School of Finance (a school of which Trump himself is an alumnus).
And now, Trump is calling the actions of all the Republican candidates – especially Santorum — “disgraceful” in that they are still trying to contest Romney’s march to the nomination. Mediaite caught the Donald’s caustic remarks on Fox and Friends this morning:
It’s not game over because nobody gets out. I mean, Rick Santorum, who lost by 18 or 19 points running for the Senate in Pennsylvania, just keeps going and going… what does he have to lose by staying in? So he just doesn’t get out. At a certain point, you have to get behind a person and you have to start going after Obama, not each other. And what the Republicans are doing is disgraceful.
Trump’s appearance can be seen below:

I’ll leave it to you and the Paul acolytes to run the talking /bullet points for Paul, the endless commercials and the Democratic Party kinship against Romney, Santorum, Gingrich and ALL who ran.
BUT, to a man and woman who entered and still are a part of this GOP field… Ron Paul remains the lone distasteful candidate who sides with America’s enemies, speaks for them, echoes their statements. Ron Paul sides and endorses the absolute worst that America has to offer along with homegrown America haters, traitors and other rabble that inhabit our nation.
Ron Paul and Obama are the two worst examples of what America has to offer. Both play and have played in America’s toilets to gain recognition, and the toilets endorse them both.

Rick Santorum: A Massively Expanded Welfare State is ‘The Genuine Conservatism our Founders Envisioned’
“What was my vision? I came to the uncomfortable realization that conservatives were not only reluctant to spend government dollars on the poor, they hadn’t even thought much about what might work better. I often describe my conservative colleagues during this time as simply ‘cheap liberals.’ My own economically modest personal background and my faith had taught me to care for those who are less fortunate, but I too had not yet given much thought to the proper role of government in this mission”
“I suspect some will dismiss my ideas as just an extended version of ‘compassionate conservatism.’ Some will reject what I have said as a kind of ‘Big Government Conservatism.’ Some will say that what I’ve tried to argue isn’t conservatism at all. But I believe what I’ve been presenting is the genuine conservatism our Founders envisioned. One that fosters the opportunity for all Americans to live as we are called to live, in selfless families that contribute to the general welfare, the common good”

Sorry, but your ridiculous spin simply can not save you from the fact that you are willing to vote for someone who things OBAMA should have the right to arrest you with no right to a trial.
Your pathetic rhetoric can’t chance the fact that you back a candidate who flat out spits on the Bill of Rights, and the only thing you can do is to “apologize” for your candidates blatant disregard for the wisdom of the founders.
Anyone who actually loves this nation would never stand for the NDAA, the so called Patriot Act, and the molesters at the DHS/TSA.
You are no patriot, as you and your ilk are enemies of the Constitution, and nothing but stooges for the corrupt powers that be….even if this fact goes over your head.

We are not at an “impass”, because if you had an ounce of integrity you would see you are getting your A$$ kicked.
First off Santorum is not a conservative in the traditional sense, as that fool is a self admitted big government WELFARE Statist who supports OBAMA’s right to arrest YOU with no right to a trial.
Second, you do not support America as you and your ilk spit on the Bill of Rights…Big Brother must be sooooo proud of you and your merry bunch of “useful idiots”. How can one claim to be for “Americans” and at the same time trash the Bill of Rights?
Third, I have ZERO use for Islam as that is a fairy tail for fools, and the creed of tyrants.
Fourth, stating facts is not paranoid, it’s simply dealing with reality, and the reality of the matter is you are going to vote for a candidate who openly spits on the Constitution while calling others paranoid. That’s about as dumb as it gets.
You ARE an enemy of the Constitution, as anyone who backs someone who thinks the so called Patriot Act and the NDAA are legal…is an imposter.

Nothing wrong with Catholics, nor is there with Mormons, they are all Christians, but Ricki gives his “Holier than now act”, while participating in acts that our wise founding fathers had warned would be the downfall of our society. The K street stuff, the lobbying, all that in which our founding fathers hated of the British system we sought independence from. He never work, he has only known a privileged life, then one in politics where he never worked a real job, only again using his influence and power to earn money. Shame on him. I am tired of you people who claim to be the “conservatives”, as if you are “holier than now”, while your lives are lived out in ways I promise you aren‘t in line with Christ’s law. Though, you pick and choose what fits your bill, and then claim to be the only Christians and Conservatives, so you make the rules, so what’s it matter, right ? Well, to bad, I Am a conservative and I am not part of your exclusive bunch. For the same reasons Ben Franklin and Payne, and Jefferson all moved away from religion is this reason right here, always about influence and favors in the name of Christ.

Romney do the same an we start a 3rd Party
How’s that sound to you Donald ?

Posted on March 12, 2012 at 8:14pmA 3rd party vote will split the independent vote and hand Obama the election. Just like Perot did for Clinton. FACT, the Dem support will show as well as the Rep, elections are won by the independent vote, I said it months and months ago. If Oblahblah thinks he is going to loose then they will play the “Trump” card and Oblahblah gets back in. Either way he gets back in. Mark my words.
If Romney gets the nomination he is going to be obliterated in the general. Oblahblah has 1 billion and Romney is a Mormon. I personally don’t care but independent Christian Conservatives do. And Romney has proven he CANNOT get the voter turnout.

Since we are doomed with either Mitt or Obama, if we can’t get someone else, the 2nd best thing that can happen is for Mitt to lose bad, bad, bad so the conservatives will finally wake up and see putting up a liberal has no chance at all.

This idea of a bunch of BIG-WIGS getting in a back room may work for Business, Donald, but politicians are NOT Businessmen, convincing someone to buy a product or service, (or at least they are not supposed to be); They are Representatives of multitudes of disparite Americans across this nation, and WE ALL deserve a chance to say who will Represent us.

Report Post »sweet – i think we have finally found some common ground. The establishment wants to shut this thing down early at the expense of ALL conservatives. This debate/conversation should continue until someone clinches the delegates. Whether someone supports paul or santorum, it should be a proper primary. i would much rather see santorum win than romney – this article is Exhibit A
TIME_2_END_THE_PAUL_CAMPAIGN_IN_12
Posted on March 12, 2012 at 8:38pmSOY. I can see your point, but I personally believe Gingrich and Paul should drop out (especially Paul. I‘d be remiss in my duties if I didn’t state that), but I can also see “their” point in staying in. There is still time to hear all four if they desire to stay, but at some point in the near future… the writing will be on the wall. IMO, it will be either Romney or Santorum. And as much as I hate to say it… probably Romney. Santorum is still getting my cash at this point.
Report Post »soybomb315
Posted on March 12, 2012 at 8:48pmGingrich should have dropped out a week ago and i have been going around this site saying just that. This race should be 3 people – each representing the three wings of the republican party. I feel bad for santorum b/c he is getting shafted like huckabee did with romney/thompson staying in as long as they did.
With regards to paul, if he drops out – those votes probably disappear. i doubt the paul vote would go to either romney or santorum. Careful what you wish for – if he is pressured out early, he may just run independent. Not what i want but hey, i am used to it

http://www.redstate.com/jeff_emanuel/2012/01/11/rick-santorum-a-massively-expanded-welfare-state-is-the-genuine-conservatism-our-founders-envisioned/

Posted on March 12, 2012 at 9:23pmI’ll leave it to you and the Paul acolytes to run the talking /bullet points for Paul, the endless commercials and the Democratic Party kinship against Romney, Santorum, Gingrich and ALL who ran.
BUT, to a man and woman who entered and still are a part of this GOP field… Ron Paul remains the lone distasteful candidate who sides with America’s enemies, speaks for them, echoes their statements and sentiments. Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, The Palestinians etc. Ron Paul sides and endorses the absolute worst that America has to offer too… homegrown America haters, traitors and the other rabble that inhabit our nation.
Ron Paul and Obama are the two worst examples of what America has to offer. Both play and have played in America’s toilets to gain recognition, and the toilets endorse them both.
You keep on keepin’ on with the bullet points. I‘ll keep on keepin’ on showing why Ron Paul’s character and value system is on the fritz… and has been for a cery, very long time.
