‘Don’t Hit Me’: Woman Attacks Conservative Reporter at ‘One Nation’ Rally

I don’t know Human Events reporter Emily Miller, but from what we see on this video she seems like a pretty calm person. And it doesn’t seem like she did anything to provoke this situation.

Miss Miller is heard on the video saying, “Please don’t hit me.” The protester proceeds to yell at the reporter, “Well get out of the way! What do you think this is? A–hole.” The activist was attempting to meet Rangel herself. Miss Miller continued videotaping the event, when suddenly the same unhinged protester lunged at her, hit her on the arm, and yelled, “Don’t take my picture.”

We’ve learned a few things from this video.  We found the place, outside of certain sectors in his home district, where Charlie Rangel is popular!  We are pretty clear that the woman in the red shirt does not want her picture to be taken.  Maybe she’s Amish. Maybe she’s shy.  Shy and violent.  Shy and violent and profane.  And fond of gold bracelets. And don’t forget the message of the red shirt: “I ‘Heart’ Being Me.”  Except it had the symbol of the heart instead of the word.  Well if she loves being herself, and if the video shows us that self, then she might want to reconsider the criteria.

    Yes, the accent was Jamaican. Not sure why she was so P.O’d about her “pit-sure” being taken, but I did notice that beacon of honor Rep. Rangle in the crowd and many people wearing red t-shirts. She didn’t have one of them on, but it was stuffed into her shoulder bag. Unions, Progressives and Undocumented Democrats? Hummm. Never saw behavior like this during 8/28.

      You know, as much as I think this woman should have been arrested on the spot your comment about her being a union thug is pure ignorance. I think maybe you should think long and hard about the phrase “ you are what you hate” because you made very harsh assumptions without any facts.     btw, that sign about Jesus “being a socialist” is so wrong—I know Glenn has explained why it’s not true but people just keep wanting to believe it, just like saying Tea Party is a racist org, etc. They get an idea in their heads and won’t let go of it. It’s so frustrating!!

      my experiance with people not wanting their picture taken and being violent about it is because they are running from the law. quick story, i was video taping some friends doing tricks with wine bottles and a guy said do not get me on camera…i asked why not…he said i don’t want it to wind up on americas most wanted…yikes i know, luckily he was polite about it, but some people aren’t. i don‘t know who this lady is and i can’t say it’s a fact that she is running, just my experiance. however these are the people that are voting these yahoos in. scary. chances are she doesn’t even know what the rally was about..or what she was representing….let alone what america means.

      I hope the D.C. police got a clear shot of her and there’s a complaint filed by the reporter.

      Interesting, all she had to do was walk away, but she came back at least twice. The initial contact when the reporter was filming showed that the reporter was standing still, which means the woman bumped into her and started verbally abusing the reporter. Clearly unprovoked. Then the woman comes back two additional times, demanding that the reporter not take her picture. She should have just left the area. I don‘t know what this woman’s problem is, but she certainly has one.

      When we were in Belize twenty years ago, I was showing my spouse the plane of focus on the 35mm camera when this guy came running down the street from three blocks away, demanding that we not take his picture. I explained that there was no film in the camera and we weren’t taking pictures. He said we didn’t have his permission to take his picture and became very aggressive and demanding. I opened the back of the camera up to show him that there was no film. He was getting ready to punch one of us when someone else came up and pulled him away.
