Down Pat: New Pics Show TSA Giving Enhanced Screening to 8-Year-Old Boy

Down Pat: New Pics Show TSA Giving Enhanced Screening to 8 Year Old Boy

Less than a week after video surfaced of a TSA agent giving a 6-year-old girl an invasive pat-down, now a mother on the West Coast has released photos claiming her 8-year-old son went through the same thing.

Heather Sheahan told KING-TV in Seattle that a TSA agent at the Portland airport “went up” her son Spencer’s leg “into that area.”  Spencer said he was “confused” by the procedure, and that he “did not know anything what they were going to do to me:”

TSA has defended the procedure on children, but did say it was willing to reevaluate.

well i am not by any means with these TSA people but dont you think you guys are a little judgemental and saying hes a perv thats a little much id hope we are being a little mature about this and not being children cause thas what it sounds like. No wonder what is wrong with this world everyone just acts like children sometimes. I get it its a little child being searched its shouldnt need to be done of course but like with the women yesterday with the little girl she did say everything she was doing before she did it and i dont know if this guy did since it was just pictures but they are in public the parents are watching and if it became uncomfortable for the parent then why not say anything then but they wait until now. And sad to say they do have a point about terrorists could use children and you cannot put it past them they use the children in their own country i know it wont stop them to use them to cause harm to America. Sure its wrong but i really have a feeling we are only blaming and throwing the PERV bomb because its TSA doing the searches. And to THEGODFATHER sure it is a joke to do these searches on the American traveler but do you really know anymore who is for or against i think thats a hard thing to decided anymore they have found American born and raise people are terrorists as well sure they have a background of muslim family but you cannot single out to call people American travelers cause those people who have been found to do terror attacks are Americans which means your saying they shouldnt be searched… but of course thats just my opinion on this im sure everyone else will disagree

Well of course it doesnt make it any more pleasant but you going to a gyno doesnt relate to this…you are talking about something that is in the private areas and your undressed these children have clothing on…children go to doctors and get touched and probed by these strange doctors so are they pervs to…i am not saying searching these children is a ok thing to do no one should have to be searched at all metal detectors should be just enough to keep us safe but unfortunatley the lack of security and brains to protect the Americans in this country got the rights of flyers taken away even more back on 9-11. Its just the way things are now and i just dont understand why everyone is pointing fingers and saying these people are pervs thats all im saying.

The media is quick to say that that particular TSA officer is not to blame;the policy is. That’s political correctness towards government officials. The reality is ,that individual TSA agent did not pat down everyone under her authority [the childs other siblings were not patted ]. Therefore she had the authority to use discretion on determining who would be patted down .That she chose this child [who was not wearing concealing clothing or anything like that] was either true stupidity or designed to irritate the family. The media is too afraid to call the“humble” tsa agent on it. We’re not told nor is anyone asking why she chose to pat down this child because no one wants to expose her as being responsible..Even the parents on t.v.refuse to criticize the agent; they’ re so out of touch with the reality but they subconsciously must know that the policy does NOT require every child to be patted down therefore that agent freely and either stupidly or maliciously chose to pat down their child. The emperor has no clothes but they don’t want to admit it.

I agree. Make it clear to the airlines that you’re not flying until TSA starts using reasonable and effective security screening techniques. The travel industry should get all over Congress and the administration to push for changes – this is hurting them in the pocketbook (and rising fares due to fuel prices will, too). My spouse and I are going on an anniversary trip next week, but instead of our usual destination to which we’d have to fly, we’re taking a driving trip. Sorry, USAir, United, et al., you’ve lost us as customers.

Snow Leopard—you are 100% correct. Nappy hopes to make it the status quo. We shouldn’t refuse to fly–this is the goal. The goal is to force the airlines to need a bailout and eventually make them government run. This is why progressives favor trains. If they can control when and where you can go–they have you.

In any other case, they would have been sent to jail for the rest of their short, unpleasent ending natural lives dodging other inmates who have such names as “Psycho” and call them “Doggie.”

This goes beyond anything that needs to be done; now the citizens of this land are terrorists and like happened yesterday according to many friends of mine at Phoenix International Airport, a band of mid eastern imam’s got to be escorted around security with their families for a flight.

In the case of pedophiles and ANYONE who dares hurt a child the solution is very easy…

      (one) child harmer.
      (one) battalion of marines.
(one) reading of all they did to the children (the child harmer)

Results = a loud roar by the marines, and the end of one more child harmer.

I have some metal in my body. The last time I flew, they stood me in front of everybody and took off my belt to get into my waist and crouch area exposing my underwear to everyone. This was 6 years ago and long before they they started the present screening protocol. These people don’t have a clue what they are doing and I have not and will not fly again. They now let TSA air traffic controllers sleep on the job. I say this because they never fire the TSA traffic controllers when they catch them sleeping. Soon the pilots will complain that they don’t get to sleep while flying. So when all the TSA perverts find their way to the passenger groping areas, the gropers know they will have a permanent job. They will never get fired for aggressive groping and you can bet these perverts will get more agressive to get their thrills at innocent kids‘ and adults’ expense.
