Drag Queens & Dancers Party Through Tel Aviv for Annual Gay Pride Parade

TEL AVIV, Israel (The Blaze/AP) — Drag queens, dancers and shirtless men are partying through central Tel Aviv as thousands pack the streets for the city’s annual gay pride parade.
Israel‘s homosexual community celebrated the city’s 14th annual parade Friday. Colorful floats with scantily-dressed revelers drove through the streets as thousands cheered, waved flags and gyrated to loud music.
YNetNews has more about the festivities:
Annual Tel Aviv Gay Pride Parade kicked off on Friday in the city’s Gan Meir park. Tens of thousands of people are participating in the festive procession, which will make its way through Bugrashov, Ben Yehuda and Arlozorov Streets before reaching Gordon Beach.
Mayor Ron Huldai, American Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro and other politicians and public figures participated in the parade, which marks the end of a week-long festival dedicated to the LGBT community.
Shapiro, who wore a shirt with a rainbow flag, which has become the symbol of the gay community, told Ynet that the US supports the rights of LGBT community members in Israel and around the world.
Tel Aviv is one of the few places in the Middle East where gays feel free to walk hand-in-hand and kiss in public.
Gays serve openly in Israel’s military. The parliament and Supreme Court have granted gays a variety of family rights, such as inheritance and survivor’s benefits.
Earlier this year, Tel Aviv was picked by readers of the travel website Gaycities as the top gay destination, ahead of Amsterdam and San Francisco.

However, not one single “freedom-loving-Arab-Spring-liberated” country allows homosexuals to live, let alone hold a parade. So the “oppresive” Israel allows people the freedom to live they way they want to, even if it offends their national religion. Yet, the oppressed Palestinians kill anyone who has the audacity to even question Mohammed, let alone the Koran or Allah.

After a while you can’t help but wonder….when the level of peace and tolerance enjoyed by the residents of Israel, REGARDLESS of their nationality….How can ANYONE continue to label the state of Israel as war-mongering, intollerant, beliggerant, violent, etc.?
Even after the facts are presented, when someone continues to label Israel so negatively….I can’t help but think that maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe that person has an agenda.

And gay-activists wonder why we look at them and their “cause” with such skepticism.
Read the posts of people who have been to a “gay pride” event, and ask them about the indecency on display.
And people wonder why we don’t believe that they were “born that way”. Give me a break. Nothing more than a bunch of confused hormonally-charged people.
The scenes depicted at these events sound like they could have come straight out of the bible…from the countless civilizations of people who became SO sinful in their ways that they were past the point of no return, and either dissolved themselves from within, or were crushed by God.
With that said, it shouldn’t be a surprise when you look at the blatant parallelism between the homosexual “movement” and the overall moral decline of America as it relates to increased violence, STD rate, divorce rate, etc. increase over the last ~50ish years.

The problem is, you’d be right. Most ignorant and uninformed people WILL believe that somehow this minority group somehow represents the greater majority of Israel…or any nation for that matter.
The problem is that when these special interest-type events are publicized SO frequently, it leads people to believe that the ideology of the special interest group in quesiton is more prevelant than it really is.
Short answer is….whether someone is Jewish or not makes no difference in this situation. It’s because ALL men and women were born with “free will” that you will see this happen.
The problem with this world is that the “tolerance” as defined by many men is NOT the “tolerance” defined by God.

Speaking of flags. The other day I was in the grocery store and there was a mom with an adorable little girl, about four years old, wearing a t-shirt with a rainbow on it. Most people would think “hey, cute kid” and move on, but no, some guy in his mid-20′s, who has grown up being indoctrinated into believing sexuality is all that makes up a person’s identity and nothing else matters, has the nerve to say to the mother that it is good she is teaching her daughter about diversity and gay rights. The mother looked confused and I had to say something, so I looked at the guy and informed him that sometimes a rainbow is just a rainbow and little girls like rainbows and glitter and sparkly things just because they are pretty, not because they have an agenda, and he needed to back off. He didn’t like that. I think I hurt his little feelings by not embracing his statement. Oh well.

Why is the divorce rate in the church just as bad as out if not worse? Why do people who know drugs will kill them still buy? AA has about a 10% effectiveness rate. Interestingly, LSD had a 60+% effectiveness rate back during some studies in the 1960s.

Physical addiction is tough to break.

I can think of several reasons: to rebel, because their parents do, because their friends do, because it’s hyped in popular culture…

If you have ever seen one, it is borderline sickening whether you are pro gay or not. They wonder why people have a bad view of gays at times. The parades are so based around sex. Believe me, there were many many kids around at these parades and it was an embarrassment. My only thought was…these are grown ups, act like it. Walking around like whores with G strings or less on – what does that prove? How does that make you a viable part of society? It was like sex in the streets at times. This is NO way to teach kids what your about and that your just like hetero sexual couples. There is a way to convey their message and there is a way not to. This is the way not to. Also, is was a very in your face type of message at these parades. I challenge them to watch other parades and follow their lead. Get rid of all of this sexual crap that kids see, or anyone for that matter. Be civil and smart about it. If you just like everyone else act like it – stop making SEX the big message at these things. I cannot over emphasize how bad this looks…and immature. Again, you want to be accepted by society more? Be smart and quit showing yourselves like a bunch of over sexed immature adults at these parades.

Like you said there were perverts with bulging croch cups (or whatever you call them) and big arrows pointing to schlongs (u get the picture)…but the most disgusting part was how they were encouraging it as a “family day” and “activities for the kids!!!! The newscaster was saying “we need more of these-festivals around here (smiley smiley) and theres lots of fun things for families”, etc. etc.

What is the MOST fascinating about that is, . . . . . IF they had “the only true god”, and they KNEW it to be true. . . and that ALL other “gods” were false idols, . . . . . . . .why did they continue to be rebellious IF the god meantioned in the bible was true to life in the REALITY of that time period? Honestly, much of those stories read like fiction than true accounts.

There are likely many Israelis who disapprove of this as well. This event shows that Israel values individual choice and responsibility. It would be somewhat hypocritical for me to collectively support all Israelis instead of supporting them on an individual basis.
