Dramatic Vid: Hijacked Dump Truck Takes out Multiple Cars, Police Cruisers

While a dump truck may not be the vehicle of choice for a high speed getaway, it does provide a fugitive with ramming capabilities that sports cars lack. It also provides great video.
A little background first. The dump truck was reportedly stolen by a 17-year-old driver and taken on a 52-mile joyride. He was eventually stopped, along with two other accomplices, but not before barreling into multiple vehicles and throwing objects such as a fire extinguisher and bricks out the window at police.

Posted on December 6, 2010 at 10:45amHad something similar happen back in 2001 here in Phoenix, guy swiped a dump truck and went on a rampage up Central Avenue; finally rolled the bugger and got stopped by a truck driver who almost was hit by him…turned out the truck thief tried hitting him with a wrench and found out the other driver was a cage fighter.
