Drunk and Naked Driver Wreaks Havoc in Moscow

(The Blaze/AP) Russian police say a drunk and naked driver has wreaked havoc in central Moscow, damaging 12 cars before being caught by police.
The city police said they started pursuing the man Sunday after he ignored a road sign banning a turn and refused orders to stop. In the ensuing chase, the motorist nearly hit a school bus, rammed through a police vehicle and smashed several other cars before being caught. When police got him he was completely naked.
Footage broadcast by Russian television stations showed him lying on the pavement and shouting “don’t cover me!” to officers who tried to cover him with clothes.
The man said he came from the ex-Soviet nation of Moldova. The Daily Mail writes that the man drove a grey taxi, and decided to get into his cab naked and impaired after his girlfriend dumped him.
AFP reports that the man had crashed into 13 civilian and 4 police cars, and later explained to police that he was flying on “the wings of love.”

Ah walking to the metro in the morning and seeing the guys with the liter bottles of beer for their breakfast, heading off to work. This is not the first time I’ve seen a drunk and naked Russian on the streets of Moscow…too bad they all tend to look like this guy!

Posted on October 31, 2011 at 4:15amSadly this happens a lot in Russia you tube is filled with drunken Russians, Vodka is cheaper than water so is beer. They drink it at Bus stops and in terminals while they wait for a bus. It is not uncommon for small Kiosks or small grocery stores to have a table set up in the back or front with sliced bread for anyone who buys a bottle and wants to start on it before they head home. Not all Russians are heavy drinkers in fact it isn’t as bad as the media makes it out to be. But they are very liberal over there when it comes to drinking beer or Vodka, and yes they make good micro brews there along with the best Vodka. I have been there many times I have family there as I am married to a Russian and when they celebrate it’s hard not to have to much. A simple way to know how many toasts you will have to partake in is by counting how many adults or teenage people are at your table. For me I was there on my birthday and there were 14 people there not counting myself I barely made it through to desert it was a good time.
