You won’t understand a word this guy is saying — in fact, you may chuckle a little. But what you will understand is the universal language of hazing.
Filemon Wesselink is a young reporter for the Dutch public-broadcast station BNN. After the Dutch team Noordwijk posted a win in the Champions Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday, he decided to deliver a bottle of champagne to the team on live TV. The team accepted the gift and decided to say thank you — by throwing him in a cold shower. As Wesselink interviews one of the players, you can see the other players start to plot their attack in the background, which starts with a rousing Dutch chant:

Posted on January 30, 2011 at 1:09pmI think it’s great and funny. Seems 99% of news stories are negative ones. That’s because bad news travels lightning fast and gets the most hits. Now we have something uplifting and refreshing and to many it’s a boring story. For me it’s a change of pace to smile and laugh for a minute; because one minute is about all we’ll get before the next story of a vile and tragic act is reported.

DOUCHBAG of an ARTICLE on the BLAZE…..
Dude get’s tossed in shower…. OMG…. I must see it…. I must not read anything else. I must stop learning, the hell with the cat who‘s hungry and want’s food. I can’t even bother with my house payment. I’ve got to read a douche bag article, about some douche bag getting tossed in a shower. OMG…. Sensational stuff here at the Blaze.

Posted on January 29, 2011 at 7:15pmThe reporter was being obnoxious – he opens the door, yells the team’s name, they start cheering, and he asks, “How can you guys be so happy? You lost 6-0!” He continues to be obnoxious, while the player tries to deflect his questions – basically, “yeah we sucked, but we tried,” The reporter won’t give up, so the team took matters into their own hands.
“Toss him in the shower!” – good clean fun ;)

Posted on January 29, 2011 at 5:39pmWe did–remember the idiot who fell into the fountain at the mall, announced on national television that she was the one, and then had the mall employee fired for embarrassing her? Then she was going to sue until someone discovered that she has a police record.

Posted on January 29, 2011 at 3:56pmFond memories!!! We would always send a newly minted “Paratrooper” to the Supply Sgt. (one of the most ill-tempered human beings I ever met!!!) To draw his “canopy lights – lights that would be attached to his parachute- so as to make it easier for us to spot him in a night jump……… It goes without saying that those things do not exist. The aforementioned FNG would then do some “extra duty” in the supply room. A good time was had by all! Well almost everyone.

Posted on January 29, 2011 at 4:46pmNo, it couldn’t be waterboarding. GW Bush is not the president of Denmark? You know only GOP presidents violate human rights. Well, maybe Wilson, Roosevelt, Johnson, etc. are exceptions.
