Earthquake Hit While Commercial Being Filmed

As more and more footage is released of the earthquake that hit the northeastern U.S. Tuesday, some interesting, and perhaps even amusing videos are sure to emerge.

In this instance, an auto store in Virginia was recording a commercial when the 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck. Employees at the store certainly got the surprise of their lives. Watch below:

Yea, as someone who has never been in an earthquake, it seems pretty scary to be knocked off your feet to me. I’ve been through 2 hurricanes and a couple level 0 or 1 tornadoes, but never an earthquake.

Oh please, he hid behind a chair and right below a picture that was about to drop and bean him on the head! He managed to look like a chicken and a dumba** at the same time – an impressive feat! Having been through a few quakes in the 5.5-6.1 range, I can tell you that they’re interesting and they do get the adrenaline going – but they’re hardly comparable to the likes of Loma Prieta or Sendai. I never once dived behind a chair.

Then again, if the epicenter were in Indiana or Wisconsin, it would have hardly been mentioned in the national news. After all, if it ain’t in NY or DC, it ain’t important……

Why would your run if it was Jesus coming? You’re the freak here….

Besides the religious connotations she is correct. It is not so much that god is mad or punishing mankind. these are actually the effect of a cycle this planet goes through every 26,500 years as our galaxy passes through the universal grvitational event horizon that eminates from the black hole at the center of our universe. This is proven through astronimical sciences. As our galaxy transits this disc of highly charged gravitational energy it will have drastic effects on our planet. It will take almost 7 years for us to complete the transit and it will cause the earth to change its axis and possibly even its rotaional speed. It also coinsides with the end of the aztec/mayan calendar. It is the reason the calendar ends. Once we begin this transition the hours in the day will change, the days in a year may change and the seasons will be reset because the poles as we know them, will be located in different regions than they are now. Many will die, earthquakes and many types of disasters will become systemic all over the planet.

She is a lot more correct than you. If jesus does come it will be to save us from this massive catastrophy ready to befall this planet (reference the great flood of Noah), unless you run in fear out of ignorance. Ignorance that you so happily displayed in your bash post. I pitty you fools, wake up or die, not that hard of a choice, IMO.

New Madrid Earthquake of 1811-1812, December 16, 08:15 UTC Northeast Arkansas – the first main shock
    2:15 am local time
    Magnitude ~7.7
There were a total of three major quakes and almost constant smaller ones lasting over four months. They didn’t know that fault was there either. They were so strong it rang church bells in the Northeast and at one point the earth rose forcing the Mississippi river to flow backward. When it returned to its bed it destroyed everything in its path. Guysers of sand and water shot upward at random and large trees fell over and their roots ripped out of the earth. People claimed to have heard something that sounded like subterranian thunder for some time before the quake.

I hope this Virginia earthquake isn’t a precursor to another one on the San Madrid fault.

OK, check this out. I was at BWI airport near Baltimore. The entire D concourse was evacuated because of an unattended “bag.” The bomb squad was called in, as they always are. Five minutes after the guy in the bomb-suit walks into the building, the earthquake hit. People were yelling that that bomb had gone off. The timing was terrible! I interviewed the bomb technician, and asked what he was doing when the tremor hit. He said he had just determined that it was safe, turned, and took about 5 steps when it hit. His first thought was that there was another device on one of the lower levels.

    Crazy coincidence!

    The suitcase was harmless…

I love it when morons from California come in and gripe about how they’ve seen worse. What you don’t understand is that when this type of thing goes down in DC, people don’t think earthquake they think of some sort of terrorist attack. There‘s nothing going on in California so you’re not a target like we are. Tool.
