Ed Schultz Wonders if Anderson Cooper Is Behind Putting Him on GQ‘s ’Least Influential People‘ List Because ’I’m Kicking His A**’

Scroll down for the audio.

Last week The Blaze reported that both President Barack Obama and MSNBC host Ed Schultz made GQ magazine’s upcoming “25 Least Influential People Alive” list. But while some who made the cut might think the list frivolous and take the satirical insult with a grain of salt, others, like Schultz, are taking their ranking very seriously — and are looking for someone to blame. In Schultz’s case, that person is CNN’s Anderson Cooper.

In an on-air rant captured by Radio Equalizer and transcribed by Newsbusters, an enraged Schultz wondered if Cooper — who Schultz called a “little nice guy” who runs with the “GQ crowd” —  was behind the list, and suggested that Anderson is jealous because Schultz is “kicking his ass” in the ratings.

“Now, since, I know that Anderson Cooper floats around in that GQ crowd. I don‘t know if he’s behind it or whether their publicist at CNN or, but let me just say, I’m kicking his ass…”

Let’s just go to last week … Let’s go to last Monday night. Last Monday night in the demo, 25-54, my number was 184 (thousand). Anderson Cooper’s numbers was … 136! Now in total numbers, total viewership, my number was 940. Anderson Cooper’s was 429! In the business, that’s called getting your ass kicked! Not that I would do that. I guess Cooper’s just a nice little guy.

The “Ed Show” host ferociously added, “When some snotty-ass Upper West Side writer throws in GQ magazine that nobody watches ‘The Ed Show,’ dammit, I’m going to respond to it. Because it‘s a lie and it’s false.”

Interestingly, Schultz admitted that he could never beat rival Bill O‘Reilly’s ratings — not in 25 shows, nor in 2,500 shows.

“Look, I can‘t beat O’Reilly in 25 shows, OK? I might not beat him in 2,500 shows. But if I’m not influential, which is fine, I can take the little cheap shot and everything else, but don’t go around printing lies, OK? GQ is printing lies about ‘The Ed Show.’”

Schultz, who referred to himself as “your favorite fat talk show host” said that “if you do a cable show, you have a radio show, whatever, if you‘re fat and you’ve got red hair, look, they’re going to pick on you.”

Making sure to get in one last dig, Schultz also delivered the following zinger to his viewers and GQ:

By the way, I’m very influential. You can go ask the governor of Ohio and it won’t be long before you can ask the governor of Wisconsin. So kiss my ass, GQ.

Mutton Head (former Big Fish in the HUGE metropolitan area of – Fargo, ND)…yeah right has a total audience of what?

“Let’s just go to last week … Let’s go to last Monday night. Last Monday night in the demo, 25-54, my number was 184 (thousand).”

Hmmm. 184-thousand what? People? Highly unlikely, Butt-Head must also be including assorted animals (within the viewing household) his ex-wife Maureen (who he cheated on – oooops, did I let a cat out of the bag? When Butt-Head is critical of unsubstantiated allegations against Herman Cain, remember that little morsel of news…and by the way Maureen proved it) and inanimate objects that resemble an “Ed Head.”

So Mr. Butt-Head is “kicking ass?” A 50-thousand spread is kicking ass? By the way, these numbers are for the ENTIRE country.

    Irrelevant Dweeb.

Oooops one more Butt-Head Ed morsel. When he lived in good old Fargo, he often hunted in the fall – as he still does apparently – well, Ed Boy shot his dog that he took hunting with him. Why? He didn’t come on command fast enough for the blow hard.

    Yuck.

Fargo’s gain is NBC loss – among many, considering their putrid numbers on the main network and on the Progressive Prostitutes network – PMSNBC.

Forgot to mention – when Eddie Boy shot his hunting dog…..he didn’t miss. My guess is that he left Rover where he died – to decay.

Class act….ooops sorry, didn’t mean to type “CL” – Ass Act.

This dough boy is going to milk his current setup in media as long as he can – at any expense of whatever small amount of integrity that he has left. Wait – he has no integrity. That was sold a long time ago, along with his soul.

      Cretin….oops sorry again – Concrete-Head Ed.

My guess is out of the claimed 184,000 viewers that watch, 183,497 are paid to watch as part of the media such as FactCheck, GBTV, and the like. Others are involved in a study on stupidity in broadcasting as part of a thesis. Then you have the catatonics that are rolled in front of a TV as part of their therapy, unfortunately it has an adverse affect and the poor SOB’s will never get better. The rest are family and friends and with that I wouldn’t be surprised if they turn on their TV’s and go watch a real show in another room.

It‘s the same with all of these bozo’s…Just as Obama is trumpeting numbers from somewhere…Black and white numbers aren’t the only thing in play here…Don’t care how many watch…If I watch does that mean he has influenced me? It’s not a number, it’s response to what you say..I can stand in front of a million people and say what ever I please, boy that sure is some big numbers…Doesn’t mean I influenced them…Some just don’t pick their heads up out of the book.

It would be the first time that Schultz has kicked anyone’s a**. He’s had a radio show in the North Dakota/Minnesota market for years and his claim to fame was a bar fight he got into years ago. And if I remember correctly he whined around it and gave the impression that he lost. He still has a radio show out here from what I understand, but caters to the Fargo/Moorehead area mostly. That area is the liberal stronghold here and not very large at that. No, as with most liberals, it’s someone elses fault not his. What a DICKWEED!!!
