Ed Schultz Attack on Bachmann Ignores Glaringly Obvious Fact

That Rep. Michele Bachmann — she is one big troublemaker… or so MSNBC’s Ed Schultz would have you believe.

In a desperate attempt to (once again) vilify Bachmann, Schultz says she’s “going rogue,” focused only on her own self-promotion, aspirations for power and hell-bent disrespect of her own political party. His evidence? The tea party favorite will be delivering her own response to President Obama’s State of the Union address next week:

“Has anybody else ever done this?” Schultz jokingly asks about Bachmann’s SOTU response.

Why yes, someone has.

In 2008, then-Gov. Kathleen Sebelius was chosen to deliver the official Democratic response to George W. Bush’s final State of the Union.  But there was one Democrat who wanted to express his own views:

You say it enough times, and people will start to believe it. That’s what has happened to Sarah. Sol Alinsky lives in the hearts of Progressives. Michelle will fall victim to the same baseless attacks which Sarah has/is still receiving.
You’ll have to admit that they have had a game plan and have stuck to it steadfastly for the last 50-60 years.
If you talk of how blacks and others have been hurt by Welfare, ‘Deamonized’. Talk about having to invent ‘WIC’ because food stamp recipients didn’t use those stamps for their kids? ‘Deamonized’ again. Mention that the NAACP is advocating for a particular ethnic group, and in doing that, that it divides us? Deamonized again. Want to mention ILLEGAL immigration, and it’s effects on our school, criminal justice system, and medical costs?……….ditto!
They have their plan in place. We need to never stand down against them. Speak up and expose their lies every day. Use their tactics against them. DOn‘t listen to anyone who says we shouldn’t stoop to their level. Look where that has gotten our country.

ANY credible candidate from the GOP is going to get the same treatment that Sarah Palin has been getting for the last four years. The trick for the sucessful candidate will be to use the same technique as that used by Ronald Reagan….sidestep the fringie media (abc, cbs, nbc, cnn, etc) and GO DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE!
Most of all, that candidate should be picked bye THE PEOPLE and not by the “good ‘ol boy” country club set in the GOP! The Tea Party movement brought forward some very good people…so now let’s pick the cream of the crop and put them in the White House!

MSNBC never have I watched it. Of course I have not had broadcast or cable TV in my home for 15 years. I have not only saved money by not buying the garbage, I have saved myself from the “programming” the box tends to cause on people.

TV is a powerful propaganda tool. These folks on the networks and on cable know it. Most people are what Glenn says is that most people are cattle. His analogy rings true and the masses are kept fenced in by the tall tails told by there TV sets.

There is a comparison to the “Rome” timeline and TV. TV is our cultures Coliseum, our “bread and circuses”, our cake if you will. If the “elite” powers that be can keep you watching irrelevant things such as, sports, comedy, or the latest who’s who show, they can continue consolidating their power behind the scenes.

If there has been one bright spot in TV programming, it has been FOX. As well as some very bright and truthful radio personalities, although sometimes over the top. They have upset the balance of the narrative offering of the “elite” wanting total control over your lives. My hope is that enough average Americans are paying close attention to what is really going on.

It comes down to this, in which I agree with Glenn Beck; People have to start thinking for themselves based on there own convictions and not base their thinking on what I call “group think”. My suggestion would be to first, turn off that “Programming” on the TV. There is a reason it is called “Programming”.

My second and probably most important is that you start to read and research your on your own, the news. The talking heads will give you their slant, the challenge is for you to prove or disprove it. Seek the news that is important to you. Seek facts and separate it from the opinion and base your beliefs on what is real.

I have said here before that Bachmann/West would be a formidable team. While I like Sarah P and dispise the totally baseless attacks on her, she is damaged goods, at least for the present. Progressives have/will continue to say, somehow, that she is ‘dangerous’. They are lying, we know they are lying, and they know we know they are lying.

The left‘s tactic of deamonizing works because they are playing to both overzealous Progressive’s with an agenda (socialistic equal-results/redistribution), and, on the other hand, under-educated welfare recipients who have been told repeatedly that this country is unfair to them. Those folks have been herded into a pen to be manipulated, and don’t even know it.

One final point…Palin is “damaged goods” primarily because the Dem Liberal Progressives have made her appear so. She does have her faults, but she is new and has convictions and stands on them…at least to this point. I personally think she should ignore most of the attacks from the left (except for a brief sarcastic remark back) and keep moving forward. Friends tell me she could never be elected. I tell them the same was said about Obama and what did he ever do. Food for thought.

Outspoken, assertive women are put on a pedestal……..as long as they are LIBERAL. An outspoken, assertive woman who is Conserviative is hated and ridiculed.

Does anyone else notice that Libs have a certain “look”? You can just tell by their face – Pelosi, Clinton, Boxer. The men also have the look – Kerry, Reed, Biden. I could go on and on. Maybe it is a genes…………a defective one!

Why does this keep getting deleted? What are you sensors thinking?

This guy on MSNBC, in my world is irrelevant. ED who?

Funny ,those people that worked at Maytag are still waiting, and it’s only been another 3 years… Great job you’re doing.. unemployment rate at 9.8% and that’s the new norm… From now on anything above an 11% unemployment rate will start to be high, but as of right now ( since you took office) it’s a good normal unemployment rate.. My “name calling” is usually reserved for those in the news I view as fools. Not those of you that post here. Of course I make exceptions for the trolls. But I try to be as civil as possible in this absence of logic and common sense world we now live in.
To put it more clearly; MSNBC there is not one so called anchor that is less than a moron. That is a fact. If it is name calling to correctly identify what one is, then so be it. I am and never will be Politically Correct. That PC crap is going to be the downfall of free speech along with the current civility push. Not playing their game.
If you can not call a fool a fool, and a liar a liar, than there is no honest discourse and you might as well throw in the towel. Of course that is what the left wants the right to do. It is a fat chance of that happening. So if I come across as vitriolic there are reasons of fact to back up my reasoning. If you’re offended, well, you’re aloud to be. I am not ever going to sugar coat what I am trying to say. That way there will be no misunderstanding.

It doesn’t matter whether you personally watch it or not. If your television provider carries that channel at all then you are paying for it. It’s not as if they only put the money you send them towards the channels you watch. It all goes into the same account and they pay each channel for the right to carry them.

That’s the reason people have been arguing for ala cart channel selection for decades now. People are being charged through the nose to subsidize crap channels that nobody wants just to satisfy the five people that actually watch them.

You do not understand. I have no cable, I have no antenna, and I have no commercial or cable TV. There is no signal attached to my house at all. Don’t watch the box and have not for 15 years! I read my news. I cross reference my news. I understand what constitutes fools in the news. MSNBC seems to be consistent in that category. From what I read in the news, I have not missed a thing, and have not wasted a moment looking at the box, now a flat screen.
My point is….Turn off the programming and self educate yourself on what are your core values. Then base your convictions given the facts you can prove are real and not hearsay. Do not be swayed by fools on a screen. That is where the “cattle” have been led astray; By many long years of “programming”.

All the progs attack the ones of which they are most terrified. Bachman is a good woman, good candidate, and a good American. She makes sense when she speaks and that is what gets the progs so worked up. They can’t be reasoned with so they shout, whine and complain. Hey Ed, Olberman is out…I don’t think your numbers are much better are they? You are the next to go, cause your ratings suck. I think if Schultz gets any fatter, he will not be able to see.

regressives don’t see Americans as just a bunch of people with a shared interest in the well-being of the country. They see groups. Groups to be divided, manipulated and exploited. A viable conservative female Presidential candidate gives them night-terrors. Such a candidate could break their hold on that group. So every time one begins to emerge they go into maximum propaganda overdrive.

They have always had a lock on both these groups. When blacks and women begin to move conservative it will be curtins for the Dems.
