Posted on February 23, 2011 at 10:47amWhere did you come up with that, Dawg? It is the left that wants everyone to be equally poor and miserable. Wasn’t a lesson learned with the welfare state? Welfare became a generational way of life, keeping people poor. Socialism does not encourage people to produce or be creative – if you do mediocre work and get paid the same as someone who works twice as hard what is your incentive to work harder? On a personal note, putting others down does not further debate and jumping to wild conclusions lessens your credibility.

How about being laid off like half of Detroit teachers you doofus how are they surviving now. Give me a break what kind of idiot can’t survive on the average salary of $52,644. I think plenty of unemployed people could survive on that salary, even much less for that matter. The question isn’t “survival” the problem is I don’t want to change my lifestyle. The left and right have their rich backers, Soros/Koch Bros, MSM Fox/MSNBC etc etc.The left wing knows it has a minor position, otherwise it could elect the left/progressive and make the constitutional amendments to make their visions law. Posted on February 23, 2011 at 10:18amFor the walking troll, public unions are the problem and should end. Unions pump in hundreds of thousands of dollars to elect politicians that then turn around and give away tax payer money for perks and benefits well beyond the private sector. You should have watched morning Joe this morning. Chris Christie explained why collective bargaining is harmful in the public sector. Mika couldn’t understand this but perhaps you will be able to. In the past politicians, pumped up by public unions, over promised and gave away the store, all at tax payer expense. Where in all this ‘collective bargaining’ was the tax payer interest? Best line from Chris Christie was when Mika said something about the Connecticut governor spreading the pain by raising taxes and Chris said he was then going to stand at the border waiting to gather the businesses that will flee Connecticut.
Okie from Muskogee
Posted on February 23, 2011 at 10:26amBig head Ed is a very angry man….He is a prime example of a liar….. He has one motive, spew hate…That’s it…
@Walk with me
If unions are so great then you should stand with them and not take a bailout for the bankrupt pensions. Being a Union supporter are you asking Union leadership if they will take a cut from their top level jobs? Would you feel better if Government just cut jobs instead of asking Unions to be responsible? How much would not need to be cut if union leadership tool cuts on pay, pension, bonuses? Leaders should lead….
All you who support Unions and their cause, that’s fine your right, please have the courage, honor and integrity to stick with them as their boat sinks….When the false promises don’t come true, DO NOT come begging for a handout from us Americans who have been warning you for years…We Americans that warned you have a real Union, one that’s free and based solely on ideas. The idea that having a job shouldn’t cost a Union due. The idea when false promises of Union catch up and bankrupt the Unions we will not fit the bill. The idea that Unions are nothing more them predators preying on ignorant people.
If you don’t like your job, the conditions, benefits or wages, quit and go find another….Pretty easy…Welcome to the real world Unions…Gravy Train is OVER……

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 10:36am@ Walk – My state requires a photo ID for voting, and we have well below average occurences of voter fraud. There is no logical reason for Dems to fight against it, since every state still allows mail-in ballots as well. If you are physically unable to make it to a polling place, you can get a mail-in. However, if you show up, you should be required to prove who you are. Does your bank let you withdraw money from an account without ID? Drive a car, apply for benefits, or even check out a book from a libarary without ID? The only ones concerned with this rule are the ones who plan on breaking it.
