Egypt Prepares For ‘Cleansing Friday’ Rally

It has been roughly two weeks since Mubarak stepped down, turning over power to a Military Council that promised to hold elections in the Fall.  That may not be good enough for the protesters. The AP and other sources are reporting that a million or more protesters will pour into Tahrir Square on today for what is being called ‘Cleansing Friday.’  The cleansing referred to seems to be focused removing anyone that had significant ties to the previous administration.

Egyptian writer Mohamed Fahmy of the People’s National Movement for Change has said:

“We will march in protest to demand the resignation of Shafiq’s government and abolishing emergency law and the trial of Mubarak and his family.”

Additional demands reported:

An immediate power transfer from the Military Council to a civilian group

The resignation of Prime Minster Shafiq’s cabinet

Release of political prisoners

There are concerns that Vice President Suleiman is controlling the Military Council. Suleiman ran the Egyptian Intelligence Agency for 20 years before Mubarak appointed him to the VP position in the middle of the revolt.

Keep your eyes on Egypt this weekend.

Our POTUS should keep his promise and put on the comfortable shoes he was talking about and hit the pavement over there. He won’t do it in Wis. Maybe over there???? I encourage him to keep his promise…but I guess I’m just blowing in the wind and holding hope for the impossible.

Sadly, I am afraid their idea of ‘cleansing’ only means that “Infidels’ Blood will used for the cleansing. This means if you are not Muslim and pro-Sharia, you are targeted as fair game.

“Cleansing” (?) Hmmmm … is that anything like HOPE and CHANGE? I’m guessing this cleansing will be Industrial Strength HOPE & CHANGE. Armageddon to get a wee bit nervous.

Hey, Middle East … have you tried Camel Juice? It‘s light Obama’s Koolaid ‘cept it’s a lot drier, leaves even a worse taste in your mouth and if you say ‘no thanks’ it gets you stoned.

I’m sure their “cleansing” is making way for the Muslim Brotherhood and Sharia and a much more brutal Egyptian regime will begin, just as it did in Iran 32 years ago.

This is what the “revolutionaries” don‘t ever see because they don’t have any vision for the future they just cause destruction and bloodshed. That’s precisely what the excel in.

This is what the same Progressive-regressive Radical Left dolts have in store for America if they are allowed to take it over.

Reject them before it is too late because their agenda only ends in bloodshed like the French Revolution.

I keep telling all my liberal friends not to celebrate this whole “freedom’ thing in Egypt. It is going to be a very pointed cleansing – of all of those who do not support the Muslim Brotherhood.

So who is in position to take control of Egypt? AFL/CIO, SEIU, ACORN, muslim brotherhood, code pink, looks like they need some more community organizing. It just doesn’t look good for Egypt or the world.
And we sit here with a spineless, compliant, or just plain ignorant government without a clue or plan.
However, I’ve heard it said that nothing in govt. happens by accident.
