Egyptian Candidate Concludes 60% of Jews Are Evil While Cleric Says Muslims Can’t Vote for Non-Muslims

As the votes are being tallied in Egypt’s elections (with the Muslim Brotherhood appearing initially in the lead), two television appearances recorded before the elections offering a new glimpse into the personalities at play have come to light, thanks to the translators by MEMRI.

On October 31st, Egyptian Presidential Candidate Tawfiq Okasha made the supposedly authoritative determination that only 60% of Jews are evil. In his appearance on Al-Faraeen TV (“Pharaohs”-TV), the station he owns, Okasha began by offering his take on the U.S. dollar, Jews and “global Freemasonry” by which they “monitor the state of the world.” Reminiscent of classic anti-Semitic texts suggesting the goal of world domination, Okasha said the Jews “maintain their grip upon nations” via the dollar.  But he assured his viewers:

“Not all the Jews in the world are evil.  You may ask: Tawfiq, what is the ratio? The ratio is 60-40. 60% are evil to varying degrees, all the way to a level that words cannot describe while 40% are not evil.”

According to Okasha, the non-evil 40% of Jews can be categorized by level of evilness:

“They however are divided into three categories: one group consists of the non-evil, another group consists of the non-evil to a lesser degree, and the third group consists of the non-evil to an even lesser degree. Might there be anyone who stands out among them? It’s very rare. Maybe one in a million.”

Okasha is no stranger to MEMRI’s translators, who have previously captured some of his bigoted and megalomanic words. Quoting Hitler, in 2009 he said: “Give me the weapons and brains of Germany, along with the soldiers of Egypt, and I will completely rule the world.” In July this year, he said, “The Jews plan to rule the world through schemes, intrigues, and civil strife, like they are doing in Egypt.”

Okasha targeted Jews in his statements. The speaker in the next clip had Christians in mind. In an interview on Al-Hayat TV on October 30th, Egyptian cleric Mahmoud Amer said a Muslim is not allowed to vote for a non-Muslim:

Mahmoud Amer: What I said was that a Muslim is not allowed to vote for someone who objects to the implementation of the shari’a, who is not passionate about the shari’a, and who does not include it in his political platform. […] He must not vote for someone who is known not to pray the five daily prayers.[…] People, I’d like to understand something. Is the minority going to rule Egypt, or what?

After an argument between interviewer and the cleric, Amer gave his take on Christian culture, suggesting why Muslims should prevent minority rule in Egypt and make sure not vote for Christians:

Mahmoud Amer: Egypt has been ruled by Christian culture for a century…What’s the proof of that? The saying “Render unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and unto God what belongs to God” is a Christian saying […] Secularism means separating religion and daily life, and that has been Christian law since the Middle Ages…secularism is atheism. It means there is no religion in daily life. That is the law of the Christians. Get it?

Interviewer: That’s your opinion.

Mahmoud Amer: It’s not just my opinion. It’s reality.

Last Friday, the Muslim Brotherhood’s hatred of Jews was on full display in Cairo. As for the Christians: facing violence and threats, more than 90,000 Copts have fled Egypt since the fall of President Hosni Mubarak.

If voters heeded the cleric’s call, negating the Christians’ right to represent their peers and be represented, it’s unclear what kind of future they face in a country that’s becoming less and less welcoming to any non-Muslim minority.

    How does a no name unknown woman that has no influence over a huge part of the populations get arrested and spend time in jail for making racist comments while @the same time black muslims like Farakahn and wright can talk about their hate for Jews and how they sould be persecuted and how they(black leaders) condition blacks to have a hatred for the devil white race. and blacks eat this crap up, they love to be preached to about the devil jews and whites. The difference is guys like this is preaching to a whole race and conditioning hate for millions (and no one does **** about it?) But they can single out this lone woman that has no influence over anyone

    The four horsemen of the Apocolypse: Russia, Iran, Syria, and China. All four of these nations will be nuked causing 1/3 of the world’s population to perish during WWIII. It’s biblical and that is why islam will not win WWIII – the final war. Islam will not win their religious war, but 1/3 of the world population will die as a result. In the meantime there will be plenty of misery to go around.

    Interesting. The muslims took a poll of the Jewish population and the Jews voted they were either an “evil” Jew or a “good” Jew. I’ve got a statistic for you: 100% of all muslims want non-muslims wiped off the face of the earth and 100% of all muslims are quietly working to that goal via their faith doctrine, 100% of all muslims are evil based on their religious hatred.

Sweetheart..this already happened in 2008…we were taken over by Islam…They took down the World Trade Center in 2001 crashing our economy..and have steadily crashed all of the western nations’ economy..then took over the greatest military country in the world..then they took down our strongholds in the middle east..using our own military..they have infiltrated our government offering between 300 and 350 jobs in our government to arab muslims.. What country on earth does that? What Christian nation in the world votes in a muslim, much less a muslim without a birth certificate to the office of Presidency? Only in America..but this time…she has out done herself.. and done herself in.. it is the goal of Islam..along with this NWO to be the One World Religion..and to overtake the world for Allah…at least that is what all of the mainstream mulims believe..The fat cats in the Rolls Royces are LTAO at the ignorance of the ones they control..The Arabs. the Russians and the Chinese have all of the cash now..and we’s just the dumb little po folk in a 3rd world country and can be easily extinguished.

    On the first video i recommend replacing “christian” with “muslim” and see if you tell any difference. Especially at the end. Where he talks about the jews changed the translation.

    How can the voters in Egypt vote for who they wish to when they say a Muslim cannot vote for a non Muslim. How is any kind of Democracy goint to come from this/? It is impossible.Think about it.Is this some sort of predudice remark. If you are not Muslim you are no one in Egypt.What was all lthe fighting about?

    How come everyone still freaks out even today when someone mentions HITLER but at the same time turds(muslims and arabs) like this spew hate for jews everyday and no one takes notice or cares . This is why history keeps repeating itself and when the next wave of holocaust against the Jews comes from a muslim (arab ) nation will anyone notice it?

      You made a very good point. The Hitler diatribe is relentless, but call a Jew hating Islamic on their hatred and everyone ignores it. The Jews have put up with a lot of crap and they will continue to do so until they accept Jesus and are saved. Read Romans and Corinthians. It is all there people; word for word, what is happening. The Gentiles will be favored until the Jews accept Jesus. When that happens, Israel rises above all nations. Unfortunately, only great calamity will bring unbelievers to Christ. It is sad this is not a major story on every news outlet in the world how racist these thugs are. IF it were something against muslims everyone would know about it. Just like, the other article where the woman on the bus was making commits about race related things. She was just a civilian with not much authority or ability to act but these turds are government officials that could have devastating effects on the world?

    Funny, I played drums at a church this past weekend, and the pastor‘s sermon was all about how we shouldn’t just pray before meals and when we go to bed – instead we should pray constantly, inviting God into all aspects of our lives. We should let Him be our guide in all things, and we don’t do that unless we are in constant communication with Him. How is that separation of faith from our daily lives? One thing that always agitates me is when someone, such as this piece of dirt muslim cleric, talks as if they know everything there is about a particular subject when they really know absolutely nothing – and obviously have spent zero time researching what they are professing as fact.

    And as far as muslims not being allowed to vote for non-muslims, or anyone who doesn’t support Sharia – um, is it me, or does that completely go against the entire premise of the word “vote?”

      These Muslim boys are horribly brainwashed from toddlerhood. Do they believe the “virgins-in-the-skies” story? Does it matter? What matters is that these victimized young men are forced to self-destruct under the cruelest indoctrination imaginable. Notice that the ones forcing them are cowards, refusing to volunteer themselves. Islam is largely a 1984 society, with mind-police, genocide, and all that goes with it. It’s hard for us westerners to imagine a whole society where freedom is forbidden, is often unknown. We should be thankful for the opportunity some of them have, to live in the west and experience the joys of freedom, especially of free-conscience. Let’s not waste this brief time together – let’s get to know and appreciate them, let’s show them why America has been free, what – and Who – made it great. If they only read our propaganda-laden “History” books, they’ll only fall into the same trap most of our “educators” are in.

      And how many of you believe muslims are evil/ most of you on the blaze. and he‘s right that separation of church and state conforms with christianitybut they don’t believe in it. it’s there country-if they want a theocracyit is their right and their business. the pot calling the kettle black-if you ask me conssidering your views about islam and muslims.I think pluralism will be the norm in 21stc egypt. give it time-the enlightened values that permeate the west will permeate them due to the technology.No going back and thank god they overthrew tyhat dictatorship. if israel would do the legaland just thing and return to the 67 borders-even antisemitism would wane.

      Anti-semitism is an integral part of the Islam. Read koran and hadiths if you don’t believe me. Before 1967, anti-semitism in Arab countries was as prevalent and persistent the same as it’s now. Even before the establishment of Israel, it was the same story. Jews were only barely tolerated as long as they accepted their dhimmi status, before the turn of 20th century.

      As for evil muslims… nominal muslims don’t know any better, they get a regurgitated version of Koran and hadiths. But those that are versed in these Islamic edifices, that’s a different story.
