Egyptian Clerics’ Revisionist History: Ben Franklin Was an Anti-Semite Who Wanted to Expel ‘Dangerous Jews’ From U.S.

Egyptian Clerics Claim Benjamin Franklin Was an Anti Semite Who Wanted to Expell Jews from United States via Constitution

Earlier in the month Al-Rahma Arabic language TV featured Egyptian clerics discussing the Jewish people. After revisiting age-old anti-Semitic slurs likening Jews to “donkeys, apes and pigs,“ the clerics went so far as to say that indoctrinating children to ”loathe Jews” is, to them, among the highest forms of “Allah-worship.” These are of course not such shocking revelations, however, given their prevalence across the Islamic world.

What is interesting about this particular interview though, is that the clerics spin a revisionist history in which Benjamin Franklin is an anti-Semite who sought to drive the “dangerous” Jews out of the then-fledgling United States via the Constitution.

Below is a portion of the transcript provided by the dedicated staff at MEMRI. According to the cleric:

US President Benjamin Franklin said: ”A great danger threatens the United States of America. That danger is the Jewish danger. In whichever land the Jews have settled, they have corrupted the morals, and lowered the level of commercial honesty. [...]

If Palestine were given back to them, not all of them would go there, because they are parasites and cannot live at the expense of their own kind. They must live among the Christians or others not of their race.

If these Jews are not expelled from the United States by the Constitution, within a century, they will be streaming into the US in such large numbers that will enable them to rule and destroy our people. They will change the form of government…Within less than a century, our grandchildren will have to work in the fields in order to feed the Jews, while the Jews control the financial institutions. If the American people do not deport the Jews once and for all, their children and grandchildren will curse them in their graves.

The cleric goes on to assert that Ben Franklin said the values of Jewish people “are not the same as the Americans,” and that they never could be. “The Jews will pose a danger to America, if they are allowed freely in. They will destroy US institutions, and the Americans must deport by the Constitution.” The cleric concludes his tangent by saying, “these are the words of US President Franklin.”

MEMRI also transcribed the entire vitriolic rant which was exhaustive in length. We have selected a few choice passages to share:

Egyptian cleric ‘Alaa Said: The [Jews] are treacherous. Allah, who created them, told us so. We must be resolute and fill hearts with hatred and loathing. By Allah, the hatred and loathing of Jews is a form of worship. When we make our children loathe the Jews, it is a form of worship of Allah. These are people hated and loathed by Allah. [...]

They were deported from England by King Edward, and from France by King Philip. They were deported from Hungary, from Belgium, from Czechoslovakia, from Austria – I won’t start with the dates – from Holland, from the Kingdom of Naples, from Russia… Wherever they go they get deported and then they return. For example, they went back to France and to Hungary, and were deported again. If they are good people, how come people get rid of them?

Allah punished them by transforming them into apes and pigs, and by prohibiting them from eating several edible things. [...]

Egyptian cleric Abd Al-Rahman Al-Sawi: In the Koran, Allah called the Jews “donkeys.” Donkeys. They are donkeys. What can you do with a donkey? [...]

[The Jews] support all the means of corruption. They support whorehouses. They support satellite dishes in order to air whatever they like. Birth control pills and devices are supported by the Jews. Dr. Shihab quoted President Franklin, who was US president 40-50 years ago. He said that they spread corruption even among the Americans. That is why they were deported from everywhere.

With a mindset such as this — and the twisting of the words and deeds of historical figures like Ben Franklin — how can the West combat such revisionist history? With a culture that rewards children from the cradle to revere and propagate anti-Semitism, it is difficult to see how the prevailing mindset of the Egyptian and greater Islamic world could ever been convinced to embrace a respect for humanity and people of all walks, and live in peace side by side with Israel.

    Who gives a crap what Egyptian clerics think about Ben Franklin? They are too stupid to understand that he was never an American president, and God knows none of them could invent anything other than really distinctive body odor. Instead of apologizing for the accidental Koran burnings, Barak Obama should order our troops to wipe their butts with the Koran and perforate the stupid Islamic turds until they settle the hell down.       Don‘t know what the jerk’s problem is, your comments are largely spot on. It is true that we should be waging war directly against Islam, destroying mosques, throwing Koran’s in septic tanks, mocking Muhammad, you name, whatever, wherever, even Mecca, it should be taken out with massive nuclear bombs making the so-called pilgrimage impossible for a thousand years due to radioactivity. If the West is to survive, eventually all this will have to be done. We are currently no where near ready to do what is necessary to save the West from Islam.

      Egypt is still smarting, who, after having enslaved the children of Israel, had to endure the loss of a massive fortune and the destruction of the ‘flower’ of the Egyptian army including the Pharoah in the “Red Sea incident”. Egypt has NEVER been a world power since and likely never will be.
      For all the faults of Israel (including failing largely to recognize Messiah when He came…) they still are the apple of God’s eye. maybe Islam should read the last verse of Genesis 4, which summarily says, ‘then did men begin to call their gods by the name of Jehovah”. Just because they call the moon god “allah” doesn’t make him the true God, any more than does changing a jar of pickles to say “peaches”. The pickle on the inside remains just as sour.

      Also, Franklin donated quite a bit of money (in those days) to the establishment of a Synagogue in Philadelphia. When his church (Christ Church) needed their main windows replaced in the 1980s, Mikveh Israel paid for it, since they never forgot Franklin’s generosity.

      booger71, if Jesus was the son of G-d, his father was not Joseph. If you read the New Testament or the Talmud, Jesus was not the physical, biological, son of G-d. So, the lineages of Joseph are irrelevant. Jesus was not Jewish, nor was he a big fan of what would later become Judaism. Read John chapter 8 to see his thoughts on Phariseeism.

      I’ve actually seen the Franklin quote several different times over the past few years. Is the author of this article saying that he absolutely did not say that? Did General Ulysis Grant not say similar things toward the end of the Civil War? What did our Founders say and think of Jews? I’ve not really researched that so much but it would be interesting to know…

      Now what is absolutely fact is that the Jews have been run out of dozens of Nations sometimes multiple times… I believe that the mere fact of the existense of this history requires us to take a closer look and examine the roles which the Jews play in society even today.

      In my opinion the Jews have wholeheartedly corrupted America and have already destroyed it from within just like they have done all over the world where they have settled. The only question I have is when will the average American come to this understanding? Today with their complete domination of the US Media they control the portals of information so the knowledge and truth of their deeds is not being propagated througout America but I don’t think it can be hidden forever.

      Maybe it’s true that all the people of the world have just hated the Jew because we are all evil and envious of their being nominated the “Chosen Ones”.. Maybe they are completely innocent of all wrongdoing and it’s actually all only our wicked imaginations… lol

    Why would “allah” create something he loathes? Unless allah is no God at all, but rather, THE one opposed to the actual creator that made an everlasting covenant with the Jews?

    Think about it:

    allah has over 100 names. Of those, one is “the destroyer”, another one is Heylal, which is used in the Bible to refer to Lucifer. It’s also used to refer to the crecent moon that adorns most mosques. That crecent moon was apart of the worship of the Babylonian moon good, brought to Arabia by King Nebucanezzars son, Nabonidus.

    That term Heylal refers to a bright star, which satan was referred as in Isaiah. It also happens to be adjacent to the crescent moon on most of their mosques and flags.

    Consider also what they bow to five times a day: Mecca. But what’s in Mecca to bow down to? The “Kabba Stone”. This stone is a black fusion encrusted meteor (or star) that fell from Heaven.

    Every muslim must travel there on the hajj once in their lifetime, walk around it 7 times and then kiss IT to have their sins removed.

    The simple fact is that allah is NOT the God of the Bible. He is IN the Bible though, under another name.

    Our adversary has long known that if he can be rid of the Jews, then he can be rid of the Bible and all its promises, and by it’s virture, claim God to be a liar.

    Thus the hatred for Jews and the hatred for woman, which brought forth the Messiah.

    A) Benjamin Franklin was never President of the United States,
    B) Benjamin Franklin died over 200 years ago, and
    C) We have never had ANY President Franklin (last name) throughout our entire history.

    How can one not believe in Evolution when you have a room full of Missing Links? Amazing that they even manage to breath and reproduce.

      I have to agree with your point. They ARE Missing links. THAT being said, IF they are MISSING, then they can’t BE the links can they? A litttle too esoteric maybe? We can KNOW they are NOT the found LINKS,’cause that be US!

    Mohammed seems to have refused to read Hebrew… so there are passages in the Koran where he references the Bible, but gets it all wrong. Then, if you can just create your own version of the Bible… it is easy to Create the History of President Benjamin Franklin!

      Muhammad was illiterate, he based his notions of the other religions he included in his new system on what he had heard through oral tradition, and as you say, he got it all mixed up. And to the extent that it was actually dictated to him, by Satan, the confusion is deliberate, by Satan, to confuse and bring terror to the world and bring down the work of Christ and lose souls.

      Mohammad was illiterate, even in Arabic. He “recited” and others took notes. Later after Mohammad’s death, when the notes did not all agree, the ones not favorable to the current leadership were destroyed.

Same as the so-called “ Christian ” social justice crowd. Really just more of that 99% hate and revenge which these two groups share and one group names Islam and the other group calls ” social justice.” Both are religions of hate and revenge . Both are evil and destructive. A religion of love and forgiveness is the only answer for human survival.

      The cognitive dissonance must drive them crazy, literally. They are told from birth, and by their religion, repeatedly, that Islam and Muslims are the best best best, yet they see they are a thousand years behind the Jews and Christians and others, it has to affect them on a very deep level, but they can NEVER raise any objections or questions about Islam or Muhammad, for then even their own MOTHER would physically KILL them. Add to that they can’t have alcohol, and seriously, they are messed up in the head big time.

      Though he may not have actually said exactly this it is attributed to Franklin the following quote: “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.”

      Islam is proof that Satan is real and working in this world.

    It is interesting, and completely real, that his comments about the Jews taking over America and changing the government actually do in reality apply to Islam and Muslims. And he is right that by the Constitution we must expel the Muslims if we are to save America, same thing for the rest of the West.

      Even if all of our politicians and citizens try to stick to the Constitution it won’t be able to withstand the assault from Islam. Unless Islam is specifically excluded from the first amendment protections given to religion, it will gradually overwhelm the systems of our government laws and courts and as the strength of Islam grows eliminate the other so-called rights that are not allowed under Islam such as freedom of religion and freedom of speech. WE ALREADY SEE freedom of speech being eliminated with regard to the topic of Islam, we already see Islam getting special rights in workplaces and schools. And in the end, NO politician or judge will be able to rule against Islam as their home and family will be bombed and killed by mobs of Muslims. Our society only functions because most people adhere to some basic few concepts of right and wrong, based on Judeo-Christian heritage, but Islam does not follow those same rules and ethics, it follows it’s own, even lying is OK in Islam if it furthers the Jihad. American CANNOT and WILL NOT survive with Islam in our borders.
