Emanuel Responds to Being Thrown off Ballot With Smiles, Laughs, and Jokes

Chicago mayoral candidate Rahm Emanuel addressed the media on Monday about being kicked off the ballot for residency reasons. But the video of that response didn’t show a somber, dejected, or collected “former” candidate. Instead, Emanuel laughed, smiled, and joked while addressing reporters.

Emanuel set the tone from the beginning of the news conference by asking slyly if there was anything in the news the media wanted to talk about, and then wondered if reporters wanted to hear his “five-point economic plan”:

Rahm has connections with the Chicago Mafia, much like the Bushes have with Sadi Arabia and Clintons with Columbia (and I”m not talking about coffee). this Partisan crap is getting old. Keep your eyes open and don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. ;)

Emmuel full of laughs about being thrown off the ballot due to his non-residency, And he says not to worry, things will work out. Work out exactly how ? Does he mean not to worry, corruption is alive and well in Chicago and some money in the right hands and anything can happen. Thank God this bonehead is off the ballot, at least SOMEBODY wants to do it the honest way. Maybe he could crawl back to the Mack Daddy Obama and beg for a job in the kitchen ?

If Rhambo gets back on the ticket it will prove once and for all that Illinois politicians are by far the most corrupt in the U.S. He is taking advice from Obama no doubt on this. If I remember right didn’t Obama get rid of an opponent in one of his political races?

Yea, I‘m sure he’ll send a whole barrel full of dead fish to each member of the IL Supreme Court. I would recommend throwing ol’ Rahm into the river wearing a cement overcoat but slime always floats to the top. And there‘s not a snowball’s chance in hell of him getting eaten by sharks…professional courtesy, you know.

Of course! He knows the law in Illinois – and almost anywhere else – can be bent and twisted in any way that he and his buddies want it to be. All political offices can be bought, and he has plenty of dough stolen from Fannie and Freddie. This is a classic morality tale of our times, much as in the last days of the Roman Empire when there were bidding wars for the Emperorship.

Would this guy’s actions once more demonstrate the meaning of “Clueless, Delusional, and Out of Whack” in regards to the real world going on about us all? I am expecting there indeed to be some kind of last ditch effort by his supporters and sychophants to take the election by hook and crook.

A buddie of mine, his brother lived in Chicago and passed away (several years ago), as executor he sent the death certificate to the county and city, had him removed from the voting records. The next year there was a city election, guess who got a ballot. My friend notified the city his brother was dead, sent another copy of the death certificate. He checked the records, guess who voted in that election. He notified the city, they didn’t seem to care much, just said, send in another form and we will remove him. He checked the next election cycle, his brother voted again. His joke is now he wants to go back to Chicago every Nov 2 to see his brother rise from the grave. No matter what he has done, someone keeps reregistering his brother and voting for him. But there is no corruption in Chicago, and Rahm will be the next mayor.
