This beautiful family, so very brave, loving and filled with faith in GOD at this most terrible moment in their lives. How do you speak, how can one even comprehend this loss? Although it is said our children are gifts to us I do not know if in such deep grief I could be as gracious and committed to GOD as they. I pray GOD lays HIS hands over them as they go through the ordeal of the grieving process sustaining their strength. HE holds their little daughter in HIS arms; we do not always understand or comprehend HIS ways, but we know in our hearts and souls little Christina is one with her Savior.

The only coincidence I see is that foxholeatheist is so similar to a-holeatheist. Nobody here cares about your belief system so put it away and grow up. I appreciate the fact that you are so smart that you don’t need God. That’s great. The rest of us will remain humble and in service of a higher power ie. God.

Well, let’s hear it since you have such a “solid understanding” of what god wants even though 2 different churches of the same sect of religion can’t even agree on it. I thought god was unknowable and was beyond human comprehension. Which is it?

foxhole -Oh, honey… you are in so much pain. I can see it in your posts. God does exist & He so Loves you. Please don’t judge Him based on what we (yes, that includes you & me) sinners say & do. Separate Churches ideologies don’t matter. Your relationship with God is what matters to Him. God is lovingly calling you by name; He knows you. You are one of His lost children. I don’t know about others, but in answer to your question, yes. My sympathy & love & God’s love would extend to an atheist who would be cut down in this manner too. God Bless you. I will be praying for you.

This is true…Heartbreaking…and I too just pray for this family and for strength for them to deal with what they must deal with. I wonder if they need help? I mean funeral expenses, or assistance with it? With young children, this could be an issue. I wonder if someone could find out so that we could help with contributions if they are needed?

As far as any other pain, the only pain I feel is for the victims and the families as well as for delusional Americans who have been lied to all their lives about an invisible sky daddy who either doesn’t answer their prayers or is just not there to begin with.

@foxhole…I hear a person who wants so much to believe in God that he/she literally cries out against Him, in hopes someone will offer up the proof he/she needs to believe once in for all. @foxhole…the state of mind you’re in is very sad to me. I do hope, someday, you will find the proof for which you long. It’s a shame, really, and a bit disturbing, that someone so intelligent wastes his time and energy fighting against other peoples’ faith. Perhaps you think you can change our minds? Or perhaps you are just trying to appear smart — and not so fearful?

No one should have to endure this with their children. But a lot do have to deal with it. God comfort this family in their time of need. God will forgive this man if he asks for forgiveness. But that is the only way that God will forgive him. People say that God should not forgive this man. But God is perfect we are not.
Hopefully the family will be able to forgive this man for what he has done to them. I will pray that they can find it in their hearts to do so. This man had some bad wiring and acted upon it. I know that I will probably catch flack over this, but its not my place to judge him. That will come when he standing in front of his Maker.

I can tell how hard it is for this family from experience. I didn‘t hear the interview and won’t watch it because I don’t have the courage to. I know that when I lost my daughter all I really wanted was someone to focus my anger on. There was no one it was a horse riding accident. Maybe not having that place to focus my anger was better as I had eventually let it go.
I pray for this family and hope that they find the strength to deal with their grief.

I don’t think I agree. Mom and dad chose to tell us about their beautiful daughter so we would understand their loss, and in return it becomes our loss too, and the loss of the nation. If there is a continued call for riots and revolution in the streets, we will be forever changed as a nation and in our hearts; and the next victims may be your mother, father, brother, sister or child. I pray that those who are calling for revolution will see the pain this inflicts on families and will cease and desist.

Dandylyon – The big difference between us and the middle east is that the majority of US revere life, and the middle easterners think it is an honor to die for Allah. Hence the infants and young children strapped with bombs. “There are more where they came from.” They think that women are dirty, and liken them to pigs and dogs, and use children for pediphilia and suicide bombs. I firmly believe there is a special place in hell for the RADICAL islamics, AND the human scum that killed this innocent child. My prayers are with Kristina (Sp?) and her family.
