Europe and America on Alert for Terrorist Attacks

As austerity protests rage across Europe, European security officials say a terror plot to wage a Mumbai-style shooting spree in Britain, France and Germany is still a threat and authorities are monitoring sites in Pakistan where the threat originated.
Intelligence agents intercepted the threat two weeks ago, prompting American forces to increase drone missile strikes against al-Qaida targets in Pakistan.
A British government official said the plot was considered to be in its embryonic stage, and that terror threat levels had not been raised in the U.K.
European officials have warned of an increased possibility in low-budget attacks that require relatively little planning — unlike the Sept. 11 terror attacks in 2001.
Officials gave no other details of the plot, but said the group talked of shooting sprees starting first in Britain, and then in France and Germany.
However Europe is not the only place that could be a terrorist target. According to ABC, President Obama has been briefed about a “credible” terrorist threat in connection to the “Mumbai-style” plot in Europe.
“Intelligence and law enforcement authorities in the US and Europe said the threat information is based on the interrogation of a suspected German terrorist allegedly captured on his way to Europe in late summer and now being held at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan,” ABC reports.
Increasing terrorism threats in the U.S. have been well-documented. Testifying before Congress last week, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano admitted, “We are all seeing increased activity by a more diverse set of groups and a more diverse set of threats.”
That might explain a recent terrorism crack down in Georgia. Reports detail how federal agents stopped tractor-trailers on Interstate 20 just west of Atlanta, inspecting each truck as it passed through a weigh station with radiation monitors and large x-ray machines.
A TSA spokesman told Channel 2 in Atlanta that the event is known as Visible Inter-mobile Prevention and Response, or VIPER, a training exercise that was not in response to a specific threat. However, federal sources told WSB-TV that the the inspections are part of a counter-terrorism operation.
Perhaps in response to increasing threats, Napolitano urged 90 nations yesterday to heighten their aviation security measures with more innovative screening devices. “We need to move to the next stage of screening,” Napolitano told USA Today.
“[Terrorists] have kind of figured out the magnetometer business,” she added.

Knowing Obama and applying common sense we think that it is possible. I believe that Glenn may agree with us. After all, he described such possibility in his book “Overton Window”.

I’ve been saying that they have been so obvious in their utter contemple for “We The People” that no one could miss it. They don’t care!! They don’t care about you, me, or our children. They don’t care if the Tea Parties a winning the poll wars. They care about only one thing. Power!! And, as several of Osama advisers have been quoting Mao, “All power comes from the barrel of a gun”, I have been quoting Stalin, “Election results depend upon who is counting the votes.” I don’t think they will attemppt to stop the election, but I do believe that they believe that they have enough pieces in place to outright steal the election. Do not be surprised if you wake up on Nov. 3rd and all of the polls have been proven wrong. And what recourse will we have to rectify a stolen election. The justice dep. has already said it will no longer persue cases of voter fraud. They showed their intentions by dropping TNBP case in Philly. Wake up folks!!! They don’t care!!! I, for one, do not wish to go to my grave knowing that my son is fighting a war that I should have fought. And so I will do what I deem appropriate when the time is of my choosing. I fear we will all be forced to make the hard choices very soon, and, believe me, as a Vietnam Veteran, I do not relish making the tough choices, but, just as I did then, I WILL make those choices.

Could it be that Obama is so focused on gathering votes from the illegal masses that he simply waves off the FACT that every day radical moslems are crossing our borders He KNOWS it and does nothing. THey are probably his buddies anyway, but how can traitor of a President just ignor the intel he receives telling him of the problem with these amred moslems crossing the borders. HE DOESN’T CARE! America is not the police of the world and has no right or business assuming that role. But this isn’t a police action is it? This is about stopping terrorism. Funny how all the terrorist just happen to be located where all the oil is. Let’s face it, 9/11 and the subsequent wars have been nothing more than a grand exercise in mineral extraction. They have it, we want it and they wouldn’t deal. It’s not like it hasn’t happened before, our history is full of examples of this kind of behavior. They won’t deal, so we call them our enemy and go to war. All that was needed a way to convince Americans that there was a need to attack the very people who would not deal with the oligarchs who’s only concern was getting at the oil, natural gas and recently discovered (so we were told, actually found 6 years ago)mineral deposits.

All Presidents have to swear an Oath to uphold the Constitution, the Military swears an Oath to protect and defend the Constitution, the Military does not swear an Oath to protect the President (in other countries the military takes an oath to protect it’s President/King etc. not American Military), so I am wondering what stand the Military will take if the President or any politician tries to suspend the Constitution.. Remember everyone that has/or is serving in our Military has taken that Oath, and even when someone gets out of the Military that Oath they took still stands with them, I think Vets. would be coming out of the woodwork fighting for the Constitution. Obama and his thugs better be careful on what they might/are trying to do, there could be a can of worms opened up that he is not prepared for.
