Rev. Jesse Jackson weighed in Saturday on Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s exchange with President Barack Obama on an Arizona tarmac this week, calling Brewer’s gesture “the ultimate insult.”
Speaking at the headquarters of his Rainbow PUSH Coalition, Jackson gave out the 800-number to Brewer’s office and urged those who call say, “We don’t need her finger,” the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Jackson called on the Republican governor to apologize for her action, and to “put her hands in her pocket.”
“Do you know how insulting it is to put your finger in somebody’s face? Try it with the cameras rolling — she knew the cameras. She knew what she was doing,” Jackson said. “She was telling him off. She was cutting him down to his size. She must never get away with that.”
“Even George Wallace did not put his finger in Dr. King’s face,” he said, referring to the segregationist former governor of Alabama.
He added, “It’s time to fight back, it’s time to stand up. Come November, we’ll point our finger [at the voting booths]. Point your finger, tell Ms. Brewer, ‘Keep your finger in your pocket.’”
As The Blaze previously reported, Brewer was meeting Obama after his plane landed in Arizona. She said she handed the president a handwritten letter, the two spoke and at one point she pointed her finger at him.
“He was a little disturbed about my book, ‘Scorpions for Breakfast,’” Brewer told a reporter after the incident, adding that Obama felt she hadn’t “treated him cordially.”
In an interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer, Obama denied having a “tense” encounter with Brewer.
“I think it’s always good publicity for a Republican if they’re in an argument with me,” Obama said. “But this was really not a big deal. She wanted to give me a letter, asking for a meeting. And I said, ‘We’d be happy to meet.’

The Constitution, Art. 2, Sec. 1, states “No person except a natural born citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible … .”
Exempting a “citizen” from being a “natural born citizen” (NBC) proves they aren’t equal, or no exemption was needed. If they are not equal, then a NBC must be either less than or greater than a citizen. Citizenship is a component of a NBC, so a NBC is not less than a citizen. Therefore a NBC must be greater than a citizen. The pertinent minimal requirement for citizenship at the time was one born in the US to a US citizen parent, leaving just one possibility. Only US birth to US citizen parents (plural) is greater.
Thus our constitution logically defines a natural born citizen! Obama’s Kenyan father precludes his eligibility!
