Ever Wanted to See Michelle Obama Dance...to Hip Hop?

Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity “Let’s Move” campaign encourages dancing. And apparently she’s moving away from her “do as I say not as I do” actions to set a good example.

The First Lady made a surprise visit to Alice Deal Middle School in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday and decided to do “The Dougie” and “The Running Man” while dancing to R&B and hip-hop artist, Beyonce.

How was it? Well, here’s what the Huffington Post had to say:

We’re struggling to come up with words to describe this video, but here are a few: awesome, best-ever, work it, I‘m so excited about this that I’m presently slapping my hand on the table while I view it.

“More than 600 schools performed the Beyonce workout simultaneously this afternoon,” NBC Washington said. “Only one school, of course, was lucky enough to have the first lady doing the Dougie on the sidelines.”

    Just watched this video on Drudge. The comments on that site were a real love fest. Only one or two even hinted at the sad state of the union. We may be going to He!! in a hand basket, but she can really groove, was the sense I got from there. Our students learn nothing about Math, Reading, Writing, or History, but lets teach them to dance. The article talked about her style, her commitment to children loosing weight, her dancing skill, and her toned arms. They sad nothing about the ugly outfit she had on, how much this outing cost the US tax payer, or her shape below the waist. The schools need to drop all the useless “social” programs and get back to teaching the basics which include the real American History, true music appreciation and Physical Education programs. American children are overweight because the “Adults” will not let them go out and play, it might hurt their precious self esteem if someone else wins the game.

      Apparently you have never read the studies saying that healthy and active children learn and retain information better than those that aren’t. They are also more able to stay awake and attentive in class. But if this was Laura Bush trying to get kids in shape it would be a good thing.

    I am embarrassed to see the first lady doing this. There is a time and place for everything. Once she leaves office I could careless if she strip in a club…But as first lady….It’s a disgrace….

    When I see her like that…I want so much to like her and to be proud that she is the first lady…but the next thing I think is about how much she hates this country and how she and her husband are nothing but one big fraud and lie…Don’t think for a minute that their “cool” image doesn’t buy votes…it does!

      Finally a voice of reason. I‘m an avid Beck listener but I’m really surprised by some of these comments. She is having fun and the kids are too. What’s the big deal? I don’t agree with her policies but where is the human decency people? Many of these comments sound like they came from a bunch of Frat boys.

      RY ON THE FLY I am with you. I am disgusted by these comments. I am NOT a Michelle Obama fan but how about not stooping to the Bill Maher level people with rediculous and disgusting jabs. Get after her politics, not her weight and looks if you want your word to have meaning. Anything else just makes you sound uneducated, lazy, and frankly leftist.

      So happy I finally came across your comments. I’m not a fan of hers/theirs, but these comments don’t fit the video, or the hope for kiddos to get moving. I guess I just disagree with the comments shown above– I thought she danced in a very cute manner for the reason she was there.

      There is NOTHING sophisticated, stylish, engaging, or certainly stunning or beautiful….to describe the FOTUS.

      I can only hope that the president elected in 2012 is DIFFERENT than the one currently occupying the White House.

      I am also hoping that we have a first lady, who once again will bring beauty, dignity, DISCRETION……and maybe even a tough of regality…..something we so desperately need after having to put up with the mindless crap we have now.

      And ya know what???? I KNOW the brauty is only skin deep, but this woman is so gross on the inside, that’s what makes her outside seemingly so much more unattractive. And it truly is sad——if they were not such decievers, losers, and all around marxist, commie, trailor trash. If they were not I would celebrate them and try and see the best…..I would think, what lovely daughters they have, they LOOK like a nice family, yada, yada, yada……….BUT AS WE ALL KNOW, IT JUST AIN’T SO.

      This woman is a disgrace to EVERY First Lady that came before her…….even Hillary….and that is hard for me to admit.

      Did anyone ever pick up on something that I WOULD LOVE FOR THE MEDIA TO REPORT OR INVESTIGATE…..It was there first Christmas in the White House, and on one of those nauseating Oprah special’s…..anyway Michelle mentioned that she and her staff COLLECTED MOST OF THE OLDER WHITER HOUSE ORNAMENTS THAT HAD BEEN THERE FROM THE BEGINNING……ORNAMENTS THAT HAD BEEN MAD AND SENT BY AMERICANS OVER THE DECADES…..BEAUTIFUL, HEIRLOOMS….ANTIQUES, ETC ETC…….WELL, MICHELLE HAD THE STAFF SEND THEM OUT TO SOME TYPE OF CHARITY CENTERS IN NEW MEXICO AND OTHER PARTS OF THE USA-AND HAD THEM REPAINTED AND REDECORATED, AND THEN THEY HUNG THEM ON THE TREE……..THEY WERE SO SUPER UGLY, AND TACKY……..AND THUS YOU HAVE IT, SOMETHING THAT WAS A HISTORICAL TREASURE, THAT BELONGED TO OUR NATION, THEY DESTROYED………….THEY BROUGHT IT CHANGE……and yes it may be only Christmas tree ornaments, but we can never get that back………I only pray that we can get the
      White House back, before they destroy and change everything within their greedy, deceptive reach.

      Anybody but me notice how the Blaze did a photoshop job on Mrs. Obama and stretch her photo horizontally to an extreme extent? To, you know, make her look fat? If you watch the video, well, that tells a different story.
