Perhaps it’s time to get the Muslim-in-the-street involved in a bit of pain. One way would be to close a Mosque for every death caused by one of those nut-jobs. Whenever one of those ‘peaceful’ Muslims drops a dime on a terrorist cell, one of those mosques would be reopened. Also, when a member of a terrorist cell is definitely identified and captured, torture him for every bit of info that he has. Use that to move up the ladder and do the same to the next level of terrorists. If they want war, let’s go 600 AD on them.

Radical Islamists were responsible for a terrorist attack in Monscow, but the Russians have no problems selling nuclear technology to a radical Islamic state like Iran. After all, it’s not as if the Iranians would ever give nuclear weapons, or maybe even the parts for a “dirty” or radiological bomb, to radical Islamic groups in Southern Lebanon or in Chechnya. Naaaaa, never happen. Can the Russians be that dumb or greedy, or both?

Uh, ok, I say, lets release all the terrorists…into a walled yard. Have them all stand up against the walls…and feed each one a bit of lead! Would sure save a lot of money with housing, feeding and trying them! After all, that is exactly what they would do to any American they could get their hands on. I wonder how many people walked by the suicide bomber who had to have been sweating and nervous and just dismissed his nervousness. Oh, well, that may not be a clue any more since we are all sweating and nervous over the pat downs. Hey, could that be part of the plan to desensitize us to nervous people in the airports???
I was in a US Embassy in Central America with one of their employees a few years ago and pointed out a lone book bag just sitting there that the employee hadn’t noticed, or had dismissed. Made me a little uneasy. She asked out loud whose parcel it was and a man came over to pick it up. The person who walked over was middle eastern. I didn’t feel any better after that. Actually, I felt much worse. Glad to get out of that situation in one piece. I would swear it was a dry run.

To have been through a airport and later on see it hit by a terror attack must be frightening and totally unnerving at the same time. I know nothing of Russian airports, but from the way you briefly have described it, and what the commentators on the news have stated, they seem (in my oppinion) to have as many holes in security as we do here.

We must be careful, as this is the type of thing that gives the other side the “ammunition”(sorry) to suggest we unfairly blame Islam. While it is true in most of the world most of the “attacks”(sorry) are committed by Islamic terrorist Russia is a different issue. Attacks (sorry) in Russia are usually the result of former soviet republic activist such as the Chech rebels. I point this out only to say, if we start to blame one group alone for all the worlds attacks (sorry), we will miss the other loons that might use the killing (sorry) of innocents as their tool of choice.

Hopefully the Russians will act more agressively than the rest of the world against these animals to quell these events.

Not all terrorists are Muslim. Russia is having issues from its empire days as the USSR. The small countries on its borders they feel they still “own”, so they are involved in “intervention”. The same style of intervention that we employ here in the United States, but overseas in Arab lands, South America, Asia, etc. There will be blowback when a people feels they are being oppressed and the only way to fight back(since they have no army/air force/navy) is to fight a guerrilla/terrorist type war. Its unfortunate, but that is what happens when you fight those who Don’t have the resources to fight you mano-a-mano.
