  Wall St. should shut down all operations for a month starting today. Just lay all the workers off, and the 99% will be protesting empty buildings. Everyone affected would be the cabbies,food venders hotels,tax revenue,ups,fed ex,and the share holders. But it would sure turn the tables on the unions. Someone up there has got to be thinking about it.

  Not too long ago we visited friends in China. Twenty minutes after we arrived at their apartment the police arrived. I don’t see enlightenment in that.
  
  They have extremely large problems with a demographic bubble & Muslim unrest.
  
  Plus they have quite a bit of corruption. With the way things are going I can’t say theirs is worse than ours anymore (Solyndra anyone?).
  
  It is a toss up.

  So if some right-wing group wanted to co-opt the Tea Party, then all they have to do is go out and pose as Tea Party members and make racist remarks, yell at Ron Paul supporters, make a fake newpaper/website etc., have some paid operatives carrying signs around, and call for the Police State to crack down on Wall Street Protestors and tax the poor and all sorts of crap.
  
  In other words, people false-flagging as something they aren’t which in turn draws even more raunchy people near, making the entire effort seem for naught.
  
  It’s very simple. People want financial, religious, and personal freedom. Anybody who doesn’t want those things or wants to stand in the way of those things, are the enemy. Period.
  
  All of those protestors aren’t socialists or Marxists or any of those things. There are normal people out there who just want financial freedom. I’m not a socialist or a Marxist, I’m not a communist or any of those things, I was out there protesting the Nazi Nanny Police State and the Federal Reserve Robbers.

  And, would you do business with a business that has employees of the mental capacities of those showing up on interviews? There may be some there who actually would like to work and make good employees, but the average businessman (or woman) is in business to provide a product or service. The cost of complying with gov regulations, taxes, and perks makes financial stability a balancing act that obamacare is about to shove off the precipice, HOW ON EARTH WOULD THESE BUSINESSES SURVIVE IF THEY WEREN’T CAREFUL OF THE ATTITUDE, INTELLIGENCE, BEHAVIOR, WORK ETHIC, AND DRUG FREE, PERSONALITIES OF THEIR EMPLOYEES????

We are and have been involved in a war with a substantial portion of our own people for a long time. These protesters are just the latest iteration of the same effort of destabilizing capitalism in the name of economic/social justice (distributivism) and peace (surrender). This occupation movement is typical of how communism uses groups (apparatchiks) to achieve revolution by promising them utopian, unattainable, non-sense. Once the communists have gotten the desired result the groups will have sold our and their own freedom for false security through slavery to the state.

When I read your comments, I hear an echo of the usual “mainstream” “media” suspects nearly word for word (which I do force myself to pay attention to, by the way). If you say he‘s malicious it’s quite obvious to regulars here that you‘re not actually listening to what he’s saying and you’re just coming here to vent. Where have you been getting your “news?” I see Glenn as a guy who calls it as he sees it. If that’s interpreted as malicious, I don’t agree at all but you have a right to your opinion. It’s certainly not my only “news” source as you allege, but a commentary to supplement an ocean of information tugging at from all directions, warring for my attention. I don’t agree with everything he says, but I like to hear Glenn’s opinion. I, like many other conservatives I know, spend every spare moment (when I’m not working or raising a family) reading from myriad different news aggregators, arduously seeking the truth which is more elusive than ever. There aren’t enough hours in the day to ascertain the truth. I hardly sleep anymore and I still don‘t really know what’s happening. You blink and you miss an important detail. What say you? I don’t think you know most of us very well.

  @ ANOTHERNOBODY You ask if I ever watched or listened to Glenn Beck. Well, YES! I live in the wilds of nowhere where we can ONLY get right wing radio on my car radio. I listen to Glenn on my way out of town and Limbaugh on my way home. I get my political news directly from C-Span and C-Span2 where I watch our government in in-action – when in session or when the oversight committees have their hearings (from banking to health care, to job creators, to foreign affairs, to millitary matters, to well, you name it). I watch Hannity, O’Donnell and Cooper (three different channels) and I watch ALL the Sunday talk shows. I watched the Values Conference over the past weekend and I watch ALL the debates. You don’t think I get a rounded education about what is going on in our political world – and maybe the world in general?. Beck and Hannity deride ONLY Democrats and while you probably don’t realize it, both Maddow and O’Donnell make it a habit of inviting their opposition (without yelling over them so they can’t get their point across) to discuss their views. I read (as you say you do) from The Blaze to Huffington, and from the Daily Caller to Drudge . I read the Wall St. Journal and The Washington Post.

  Sorry, I disagree. The only way it’s going to end is in armed revolt and a bloody civil war.
  
  Here is my prediction:
  
  1) When 2012 rolls around, if it is looking like Obama can’t win the election, he will suspend elections like they do in muslim countries, hence he will win re-election via suspension.
  
  2) Then he will try to get Congress to get rid of the two-term presidential term limits. If this fails, he will sign an executive order doing just that.
  
  Unless America really wakes up, it will end in a bad way, and us patriots and constitutionalists will all be thrown in prison, or be slaves to the state.
  
  Give me liberty, or give me death. Bottom line.

  STRIKER..absolutely not. Lerner and Rathke (the men behind this debacle) have made it clear, they want the tea parties involved. I even heard that bloated clown Beckle say he’d like to see the tea parties join the protests. He believes the smelly marxists and the tea parties share a common thread. I’m sorry but NONE of these smelly faux-hippies is asking for lower taxes, less government , adherence to the constitution and less spending. You‘re about to play into the left’s dirty hands STRIKER if you ask for the tea parties to get involved. The more this goes on, the more the tea parties look better to the broader public and by staying well away they will succeed. NO WAY SHOULD THE TEA PARTIES EVEN CONSIDER GETTING INVOLVED.

  We need to let the Flea Party play out. They are exposing more truth about their ‘rich’ leaders and how hypocritical they really are. The Fleas are being used by the elite liberals and we need to let them figure this out on their own.

  Aaaaah! But, you underestimate the Creator, by Whom we were created. If He so desires, he can remove from power any He chooses. Have you ever read in Scripture, where Jerusalem was under siege, and the King prayed, and God caused the foe to “Hear a rumor…” and return to his own land. Our God can do anything, and MANY of us have been praying for years that He would have mercy on our nation and return us to “One nation, UNDER GOD, indivisable, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL”!!! Our God’s hand is not shortened that ite cannot save, His ear is not heavy that He cannot hear…(Isa 59:1)
  God goes further and says “But your iniquities (sins)have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear. (vs 2)
  This is why God gives those who’ve been called by His name, to be ruled by evildoers, (that we’ll turn away from the evil and back to Him for mercy.) Our deliverance can’t be counted on by our strength, numbers, superior fire power, etc. because there are too many variables in civil war. IN GOD’S MERCY IS OUR SUREST HOPE, FOR IF HE HELPS US WE CAN SAY WITH PAUL, “I can do all things by Christ Jesus, this is my strength.” (Phil. 4:13)
