Extreme Bullying: 9-Year-Old Girl Forced to Drink Toilet Water at School

A 9-year-old Brooklyn girl has become the latest victim of severe bullying at school, having been subjected to what the New York Post describes as “vile physical and sexual abuse.” According to the victim, she was molested in a school bathroom by two male students who beat her and forced her to drink toilet water. Her attackers reportedly threatened to kill her if she reported them. But after a second assault at school, the young girl notified school officials.
Now, the child’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, has filed a lawsuit against the city, questioning why school administrators at PS 22 never notified the police of the brutal attacks.
The fourth grader transferred schools, but after another bullying incident, she began to have panic attacks — symptoms of acute stress disorder. The young girl has sought treatment at a psychiatric hospital to help her cope with the ordeal.
On top of coping with trauma, the girl was turned away from another public school who considered her a “liability.”
On Monday, Ovadia filed an $11 million notice of claim to sue the city for the alleged torture-like bullying.

Report Post »Stay in touch with your kids and their teachers. Don’t take crap from these bureaucratic entrenched morons. I am in the middle of a fight with my kids school in St George Utah over their lack of special ed program. They completely neglect my kid there, and my wife and I keep pushing. We are about to pull our kids out of school.

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 9:31pmMy grandson was beaten un-concious and had two of his front teeth knocked out while 3 teachers stood by and watched. NO ONE called the cops until he managed to get to the office, and called his mom. Then all hell broke loose. The kid was arrested (it wasn’t his first assault and he did spend more time in “juvy”.) The kid, who was in the foster care system was moved to another home at the other end of the state. He is also required to pay for my grandson’s medical bills. 1 teacher was suspended for a week, the other two were “reprimanded” in their files. (big deal).
My grandson couldn’t fight back – the attack came from behind and he was out before he knew what hit him. Sad but true.

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 9:21pmAs mentioned above the bullies are getting off scott free while the defender suffers the schools wrath. Its seems that this pretty much follows the current system where the victims must defend themselves against the system.
We are completely upside down and its gonna hurt when we finally get turned right side up again. But it will happen!

The Problem is not New York, the problem is a lack of God in our school system. I am a teacher and see it everyday. I scares me to know what our children are being taught by todays curriculums. Instead of attacking the people of New York you should be focused on the issues at hand. If you continue to attack people the may not be willing to listen to your point of veiw. Posted on November 30, 2010 at 9:47pmWhat is WRONG WITH YOU?? and some of the other posts? We’re talking about a young girl who changed schools twice, was admitted into a psych hospital, and denied admission into a third school. She wouldn’t do that for the FUN OF IT, her parents and family wouldn’t go through that process, for the chance of a couple of bucks AFTER a long drawn out battle with people like you deciding on the basis of an article and whatever bully bias you seem to have, hurling emotional stones at a little girl. What if she reads your post, what if her parents read your post… would you say that to their face, looking into the eyes of a tormented little girl, and with all your God like knowledge gets to decided the truth of the matter. Do you pray to God with the same mouth? Do you go to church on Sunday thinking you’re a good person? Do you think your mother would be proud? She was a little girl once… what if somebody got to decide if she was raped or beaten, and decided to call her a liar without all the facts?
Every one of you who posted negative comments about this child, “she needs to fight back, problem solved”, or any of the other horrible, cold, unfeeling remarks should remember… judgment belongs to God… I will pray for all of you to get in touch with your humanity, because you should be ashamed, and you need help.

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 8:57pmI’m a bit conflicted about this story, I’m afraid. I‘m not saying it’s not true but if someone hits you in the stomach it would stand to reason they were in front of you and you would be able to see their faces or at least recognize their clothing. Having had three children go through the public school system in FL I know how schools and principals can be concerning lawsuits – usually it makes them come to attention and they deal with the problem as quickly as possible so it will go away. I’ll be interested to see how this unfolds and hopefully this child will get the help she needs, one way or the other.

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 8:55pmPublic schools are a good place to learn hand to hand combat and also Hostage survival as at the Wisconsin school yesterday. Also your child might learn the mechanics of Socialism, homosexuality and Anti-colonialism. They may learn to hate capitalism and national patriotism. Posted on November 30, 2010 at 8:53pmIs anyone really surprised with this? This is nothing but the consequences of removing God from public areas and removing capital punishment is schools. Do you really have any doubt that if something like this took place before stopping capital punishment would have happened. Think about it, there was nothing like hearing someone getting swats in school echoing through the quiet halls that kept kids under control. Now, kids look at teachers and ask what are they going to do about it?
My wife works for the courts and sees all these kids come in after being ticketed for doing something in school and their appearance is often months after their misbehaviour and then they get a slap on the wrist while mom or dad pays a fine.
When I was growing up and in school, a kid did something and was sent to the principals office and if they were guilty they got a spanking often within 30 minutes of the action. By the end of the day, everyone knew who got paddled and what for.
Now we don‘t want to hurt anyone’s feelings and worried about self esteem giving kids trophies for just being there, removing red pens so that papers are not marked up with red ink, dropping “Fs” from the grades so that they don’t feel bad, etc. and then wonder why we are having so many problems with kids. It used to be that when you smarted off to a teacher you either had your mouthed slapped shut, your hand spanked with a ruler or received a paddling that you did not easily forget.
No it is not child abuse, it is punishment for their actions and it needs to come back.

It was just a matter of time before the Liberal’s methods of be-nice discipline would backfire and they would be forced to deal with it. When I read what that poor little girl went through, I had to walk away from the computer for a bit just to “deal” with it. This is the fault of the school‘s and parents for not crackin’ the whip. These boys have gotten away with much more than this…you can bet on it and nobody chose to handle it like it should be. REMEMBER….being a good parent and educator is HARD work. Posted on November 30, 2010 at 8:41pmDamn twinkie! When I was in 6th grade a group of bully girls made a habit of attacking girls in the restroom, getting them on the floor an pulling off their slacks and underwear. They tried that with me, and I I kicked and put up a fight. They backed off. But it was still traumatic for me and I was very leary of these girls and the restroom from then on. I told my parents, but they didn’t do anything…I was on my own. Too scared and embarrassed to tell the teacher. Kids need to learn to fight back and know that the adults will back them up…even if they get in trouble from the school for it.

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 12:44amThe “village” is failing. It takes a parent to raise a child. Two boys in the bathroom with a girl???? The school didn’t do anything about that?
This is a very sad story. Unfortunately, I do know about “bullying”first hand from when I was in school. Bullying is not something that will stop…it is as old as the ages… It does need to be controlled. The Liberal left is using the whole issue of “bullying” to support and pass their agenda and don’t even see that it is precisely their agenda that is feeding the beast. Kids with guns and shooting others and themselves, suicides, depression….those are all symptoms of a sick society…. a Godless society. Of course, being a nurse and knowing what side effects of psychotropics are, my first question I always ask whenever I hear about any behavior such as shootings, suicides, or bullying is “what medications are they taking”. That is a critical question that we need to be asking. The meds that are prescribed for kids today ….the side effects are brutal… Start looking beyond the story and asking the right questions. The answers may surprise.
And as for the boys in the bathroom…with today’s surveillance systems, I would be surprised that the school didn’t have a record of them entering the bathroom… and I would also be surprised if the girl doesnt really know who did it to her. She isn’t saying because she fears for her life. Sad…very sad. My prayers are for her and her family….and for the boys who did this to her.

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 8:34pmThe unfortunate problem with self defense is the school system holds the defender responsible punishing them instead of the bullies and this has gone on even when I attended school. When I was in high school there were several bullies that attacked me, I defended my self and beat them down, one started yelling they had a gun and they were gonna shoot me. At that point I went to the cop on duty at school and reported it. Nothing happened to them and I was told if I defended myself again I would be thrown in jail. Well a few days later the bullies found me alone and proceeded in their attempt again. Of course I defended myself sending one to the hospital. The next day I was expelled. And again nothing happened to the bullies. It could have had something to do with the bullie being black and I was white, while the principle was black too. Should have sued the school system but I really didn’t care at that time, besides I won the fight.

Posted on November 30, 2010 at 8:45pmWhen I was in the police academy we were told that when it comes to school bullying, you’re only aloud to defend yourself until the guy is down. If you keep hitting after it’s under control, that is when you get in trouble. I shook my head and moved on. But I knew better than that. YES, that would be ideal. But it’s true. Bullies are defended and the victim is punished.

What I see is the Maoist – if you don’t know what the word “Maoist” means, just substitute “Marxist” which you can readily define – government trying to control every aspect of our children’s lives. Sure the kids shouldn’t have done this. But if the abused kid was white, would this story be in the news? This is political correctness gone berserk Blaze. The school should have just told the parents and they would teach their children to respect those of all elasticities. End of story.

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 12:25amThere is a difference between “beating” and “disciplining” your child. The government needs to wake up to this fact and stop arresting/terrorizing parents for spanking their children.
Since men can’t seem to keep their pants zipped, and women can’t seem to keep their legs closed, we keep getting people who should never breed, bearing children they neither have the skill or intention to raise.
This incident goes right back to the parents. The “kids” need to have some 6′6″ linebacker smack the crap out of them until it sinks in that there is finally going to be some consequences for their actions…and I’m afraid that it will take quite some time for their “do what you want…we don’t care” upbringing so far, to be reversed.
Personally I think the “kids” that did this should be euthenized now in order to spare society from the almost certain repetition of this type of incident from playing out for the remainder of their disgusting lives.

Posted on December 1, 2010 at 7:20amA local talk show host here in the Dallas area, John David Wells, has a great solution to bullies. He said have the child go the first time to the teacher and say “I’m being bullied.” If they don’t do anything, and it happens a second time, the go to the teacher again, using the word bullied. If it happens a 3rd time, beat the crap out of the bully. He did this with his child, and they wanted to give him a suspension. He said, no you’re not. He told you he was being bullied and you did nothing about it. He fixed the problem himself. I’m teaching my son to punch. He had a GIRL bullying him for a short time. He didn’t want to hit a girl. I said, when a girl picks on a boy, she’s no longer a lady. Knock her on her butt.
