While hosting a house party with his parents’ dead bodies locked in a bedroom, 17-year-old Tyler Hadley allegedly confessed to a friend that ecstasy and being possessed by the devil made him hammer his parents to death:
TCPalm.com reports:
“Mandell said Tyler told him he thought ‘the devil possessed him.’ He said the Hadleys were having financial problems and, according to Mandell, that along with rap music and fights with his parents influenced his actions.
Mandell said Tyler Hadley had taken the drug ecstasy.
‘After he told me, I didn‘t believe him because he’s been my best friend forever. I would never suspect anything like this,’ Mandell said. ‘I was looking around, he told me if I look enough I could see signs. I looked on the floor and could see signs of blood.’”
As reported by The Blaze, police believe the Florida teen killed his parents Blake and Mary-Joe Hadley this past Saturday, using a 22-inch hammer as his murder weapon. After committing the heinous act, Tyler posted on Facebook he was having a house party. Around 50 guests showed up and stayed over till about 3:00 a.m., unaware that the home’s owners laid dead in a locked bedroom.
Investigators were tipped off that something odd was afoot, and arrived at the home at about 4:20 a.m. Sunday where they discovered the bodies.
Michael Mandell, Tyler’s neighbor and best friend since they met each other at age 8, was in shock when his friend pulled him aside to tell him the occasion for Saturday’s party.
“‘I feel like this kid that I’ve known all my life, I don’t know him,’ Mandell said. ‘His family was my family. They were very good people. I really don’t see any motive besides drugs.
‘He took three ecstasy pills before he did this. He said he couldn’t do it sober.’
Mandell said at the party he took a picture with Tyler after Tyler said he thought it would be the last time they’d see each other.
‘You could see the horror in his face,’ Mandell said. ‘That’s not normal Tyler.’
Mandell said he stayed at the party until it was nearly over.
‘He was going to commit suicide once he got caught, but that failed,’ Mandell said.”
Mandell claims that he was not the anonymous tip that lead police to the Hadley home. As a minor, Hadley will not face the death penalty even though he is being charged for the two counts of first-dgree murder as an adult.
He is likely to serve a maximum sentence of life in prison if found guilty.

Because of his age and no priors, he’ll probably not get the death penalty. But he’ll have plenty of time for reflection when he gets life in the slammer.
He’ll have plenty of time for regrets, too, especially after he learns he’s going to be in great demand by the perverts around him.
I wonder how he’s going to like rap music then.

Oh Satan exists my friends and it is why in a time not too far down the road the youth, the boys and girls, young men will once again be congratulated for conquering Satan’s grip. Moral relativism is a far older practice than Fletchers Fabian ideologies. The sad part is that Fabians don’t even realize that they profess the same impotent philosophy of quacks like Herodotus, Protagoras or Chuang-Tzu. Moral relativism is the removal of absolutes, any absolutes, and replacing them with tolerance. Hence we have multiculturalism being force fed our children to prevent them from gaining what’s known as American exceptionalism (National pride where race and gender are irrelevant), and laws that change on the whim of the moment, rather than the firm foundations of Commandment Laws of this Nations under girding. Tolerance is a pretty way to say Politically Correct, which is the cute little distortion of the term Public Relations, which is the fancy term for the word Propaganda. Moral Relativism (ie metaethical philosophy), is quack science, that is no science that tries to establish empirical data for the combined emotional, cognitive, and physical/motor intercourse of the human brain, and somehow categorize it onto a chart within behavioral norms that non absolute law must adjust to. It’s the collective ideology of Socialist cowards.

If a friend posted an invitation to a party or called me to attend a party at their home, I would have asked my parents if I could attend (even at 16,17,18). My parents would call to talk with the parents of the person inviting me to make sure the party was chaperoned. If the other parents were going out, I could not attend the party. Period.

Posted on July 20, 2011 at 1:19pmWhat a very tragic story. As parents we try to do the best we can to raise our children, but God has been banned from our schools, and humanistic values took His place. Children don’t know what to believe since everything is in relative terms. It appears more and more children are suffering from mental disorders. I believe this happens when a child has no spiritual anchor and only can believe in himself. It’s a scary world out there, and Satan looms in dark places. His instrument is the “feel good” escape through drugs. When a child is hooked, he is lost! Invite God back to our town squares and schools, and just maybe our children will become decent again. God help us all!!!
Report Post »jsDway
Posted on July 20, 2011 at 2:54pmROCKAWAYEILEEN – you are so right! Evil begets evil – these kids have no truth to anchor their values to. The 60′s is the decade that started the destruction of the morals of our society, all that was important to kids then was sex, drugs, and rock and roll anything to rebel – we then raised kids and are now the grandparents of a lost generation! If all that goes into their minds and hearts is garbage & trash then all that will come out is garbage and trash. Parents are the fault for a lot of this – we as parents and grandparents need to be there for our kids and stop being only interested in ourselves! DRUGS are a mind control and I have heard that even after taking drugs while young that years later in your life they can effect your behavior. DRUGS are a gateway for Satan/Evil to come into your soul and control you. We do need GOD in our lives and country more than we have ever, the true GOD of the BIBLE – we need to obey HIS WORD!
Report Post »bailey08
Posted on July 20, 2011 at 1:15pmFor whatever reason, the world we live or the way they are raised, a good percentage of young people feel entitled to the good life. Without having to actually earn it. Sounds like Obama’s world view–let someone else work hard so I can have things given to me., the government will take care of me, my parents will take care of me.
They don’t even live in the real world, out of touch with reality. They don’t know how to handle hardship or disappointment if everything is handed to them.
Don’t want to work at McDonalds or Wal-Mart because that job is beneath them.
I think the kids that “get it”, understand that hard work pays off, take pride in independence, understand that we are responsible for our actions—they are becoming a minority.

Posted on July 20, 2011 at 1:05pmFor those who insist on bringing ‘God,‘ the ’Devil,’ Rap and Ecstasy into this as contributing factors, consider that violent crime rate in Western Europe is many times lower than in the US, and Western Europe is much more secular, has all the rap from the US on radio and TV, plus its own cool French rap, and light drug use rates are similar to the US. That is not what’s causing the violent crime problem in the US.

Report Post »I guess he didn’t know of and/or didn’t believe these scriptures. But he seemed to know about satan. In my experience, my guess is- he’s right – he was possessed by the devil. But it was up to him to not allow him to take over in the first place according to the Scriptures and decide to follow. He’s guilty & should suffer the punishment. Satan is involved also in drugs. It goes hand in hand. The “church” is woefully ignorant/lives in denial about this subject because they don’t want to think about it or face their responsiblity as a child of God & representative of Jesus (and His power He has given to believers) to try to lessen these cases by teaching spiritual warfare and acting when necessary and called upon to deliver people from these demons. Any faithful Believer can do it, not just some “priest” or such. I’ve done it & seen success & I’m just a “mom”. I’ve also had “real” miracles after prayer. So, sadly, it’s my opinion “Christians” should share some of the blame for the huge numbers of these horrendous crimes. Jesus weeps.

This kid, most kids, are victims of nothing but their own poor choices. Most families raise their kids with a framework of morality, no matter how much some people think to the contrary. If most kids were not being raised with a framework of morality, society would have collapsed already. What’s happening I think is that the internet makes each and every bad event seem “live” and “1 mile down the road” which lends to the perception that this kind of thing is rampant. I tend to agree with your position that the instant information access age makes apparent random acts more apparent. What I struggle with is that while it’s not rampant, it is most definitely happening at an accelerated pace. Whether the actual cases of possession have increased is anybody’s guess, but in Biblical possession the Demon becomes the person, not an outside presence encouraging a person to kill. This is a classic case of a complete failure of personal responsibility, and a ridiculous blame game in an attempt to avoid the correct punishment. That punishment should be immediate execution. No long trials and appeals. Put a damned bullet in this clowns perverted head and good riddance.
Psychologists are a huge part of the problem. They peddle drugs (psychotropics) which do nothing but prevent the brain from functioning on a normal level. They’re no different than the heroin drug sellers. In most instances these drugs cause irreparable brain damage, but the pushers (psychologists and psychiatrists who are nothing more than Fabian moral relativists) hand them out like candy to careless parents as the medicinal babysitters, so that they themselves can continue in their life or irresponsibility.
