FBI Probes Conservative Blogger for Opposing GOP Rep.

Last year, Clay Bowler became active in politics. He didn’t support Billy Long, a Republican* running for U.S. Congress in his southwest Missouri district, so he started a website, began attending campaign events, and even started asking the candidate tough questions. But when Long eventually won, Bowler — and his website Long is Wrong — went away.
So when the FBI showed up at his door recently saying he was a perceived threat to the congressman, he was shocked.
“I’m not a threat to Billy Long,” Bowler, who says he’s a conservative, told KSPR on Thursday. “I find the whole thought very funny, because I’m such an advocate for constitutional rights that I would never do anything that would put in jeopardy those constitutional rights like the Second Amendment.”
Bowler admitted he confronted Long in the past, but never threatened him. “I never threatened Billy Long, never,” he said. Bowler showed KSPR the worst of his “confrontations” — a YouTube video showing him walking with Long and asking him questions, more of a journalistic inquiry than a threatening tirade:
But that reportedly didn’t stop FBI agents, accompanied by a local sheriff, from investigating him. But how did they get his name?
The local sheriff told KSPR that Capitol police are actively soliciting the names of possible threats from members of Congress in the wake of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’s assassination attempt. And he admitted there are more names his office is looking into — names that came from Long.
When it came to the actual investigation, Bowler told the news station the FBI was cordial, but it’s still worrisome that somehow he got put on a list and that local and federal law officials showed up at his door. But, he added, he was told he has been cleared and is not a threat.
“The FBI goes, ‘Don’t see anything wrong with that; that’s just part of holding our elected officials responsible and accountable,’” he said.
Long’s office did not return a KSPR request for comment.

Enough of that. But I do find it odd that the government only seems to visit conservatives, don’t you?

Since Holder is not about protecting the country or enforcing the laws of this land equally causing injustice. This is intimidation against unorganized individuals and we need to find the will to organize and start using their own game against them. This will take a while, but it can be done.

Of course that seems to be the way Democrats see opposition is as a threat. Why do you think Glen Beck is portrayed as he is? The Blaze isn’t identifying him as a Democrat. Read the headline, it clearly says GOP Rep. Some of the people posting I don’t think read it too closely. He sounds like he‘s more of a progressive Republican and that’s why the blogger opposed him.

Some of the people posting here are crackpots that threaten violence and the FBI takes that sort of thing seriously. People on this website have threatened me with violence on three occassions or more so far for example. Others simply imply they are armed and ready to shoot anyone they feel threatened by, imagined or not. Not too smart.
Glenn fosters this mindset too. He has made many, many statements regarding the collapse of our nation; “when things spiral out of control,“ and ”we’ll see the ARM OF GOD in our lifetimes,” etc.
Glenn and some others on the airwaves/internet like Alex Jones have created an atmosphere of paranoia, fear and uncertainty and they are making a fortune from doing so. People need to be aware of their game.

How does it make you feel that you’re being watched here? If you say the wrong things and resemble the profile, the stereotype . . . and then what’s the stereotype, of what, a conservative? And then what? Pressure? What kind?
Does it feel like you woke up this morning in a foreign country after reading this?
It’s plain to see. It’s going to take a massive continued effort of organizing people on the streets and in the neighborhoods. All that we say here is meaningless unless it translates into an organized effort that places people in the voting booth November 2012, and in the correct frame of mind.
But a serious question needs to be asked: Is the leadership detaching itself from the people? The FBI, many if not most are former military, just as many are here. We know the FBI is doing their job, one that we greatly appreciate; but so too are the informed citizens that gather here doing their civic duty to speak against what liberalism is doing to our country, their country, to our society claiming to be benevolent but always destructive in its ends.
If liberalism is so benevolent; if it is so pure and correct in its thinking, then why does it never take the invitations to fully and openly debate their ideas in a public forum? Always remember the Pelosi line: “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.”
So if liberalism is the answer, why does everything that it touches turn disastrous for the people that are coerced into going along with it? Black America, you are the most perfect example of this; if you would free yourselves from their deceptions you would be able to see the faces of your modern day slave masters . . . Does that maybe have something to do with all the liberal maneuvering and posturing, Black America . . . that results in a system where we can’t know about laws until they’re passed?
And then, if they don’t have you enslaved, if they don’t have your minds enslaved, there should be no problem with you walking away from them to simply see what’s beyond their words . . . try it; set yourself free for a day and think beyond what they’ve told you. Come to know that you’re the proverbial elephant held captive by a string. You have worn your meager chains for so long now and since being so very small that you don’t realize the power of yourself to just simply walk away . . . Try it. What do you have to lose in considering another way? The answer to that is the same as what liberalism is giving you now . . . nothing.

I never thought we would start down the road to government control of thought. Sure, they already have and actively do. The Libertarian Party was investigated and monitored for years and declared “a threat to national security” from the 1970‘s through the early 1990’s. I’ve seen the Freedom of Information Act released reports, first hand.

The first problem with your post is this, if you believe every word that is in the Bible, you would understand the value of life….all life.
