FBI Report: Majority of Anti-Faith Hate Crimes Are Anti-Jewish

On Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) released its 2010 report entitled, “Hate Crime Statistics” (the full text of the annual report can be found here). Of the 6,224 single bias incidents reported, 20 percent were motivated by faith and religion — making this the second most cited motivation for hate crimes abuses.
Additionally, 47.3 percent were motivated by race, 19.3 percent by sexual orientation and 12.8 percent were based upon ethnicity/national original bias. Another 0.6 percent occurred as a result of physical or mental disability.
In sum, there were 1,409 hate crimes motivated by religious bias. Of these anti-faith crimes, 65.4 percent were against Jews (or anti-Jewish), 13.2 percent were against Muslims (or anti-Islamic), 4.3 percent were anti-Catholic, 3.8 percent were anti-multiple faiths, 3.3 percent were anti-Protestant, 0.5 percent were anti-Atheism/Agnosticism/etc. and 9.5% involved other religions, as reported by Religion Clause.

These results clearly show that Jews are the most persecuted religious group in America, as the majority of crimes reported in the faith vein were aimed at this subgroup. That being said, the 2009 proportion for anti-Jewish bias was a bit higher at 71.9 percent.
In October, the Blaze covered the Anti-Defamation League’s “Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents,” which found that the number of anti-Jewish incidents in the United States increased last year for the first time since 2004.
The ADL audit showed that there were 1,239 reported incidents in 2010, which was up slightly from the 1,211 that were reported in 2009. Among the cases reported in the ADL report were 22 physical assaults, 900 instances of harassment and 317 cases of vandalism in 2010.
Robert G. Sugarman, National Chair, and Abraham H. Foxman, National Director, of the ADL, issues the following statement about the FBI’s most recent report:
Enacted in 1990, the Hate Crime Statistics Act (HCSA) provides a disturbing snapshot of violent bigotry in the United States. In the past 20 years, the Act has inspired significant improvements in the response of federal and state law enforcement agencies to hate violence, and prompted numerous agencies to establish their own policies and procedures to record data.
An increase in criminal violence perpetrated due to hatred and bigotry is disturbing, especially in a year when earlier FBI reports indicated that overall violent and property crimes declined significantly. The report noted that there were 6,628 hate crimes in 2010, which included an increase in crimes against Hispanics, the LGBT community and Muslims, and a significant number of crimes against Jews and the Jewish community.
On its web site, the FBI claims that “hate crimes have remained steady,” as there were 6,604 incidents reported in 2009. While it is certainly wonderful to hear that they haven’t increased by much, the fact that these incidents haven’t decreased is still a concern — especially considering the anti-Jewish attacks that have recently unfolded in Brooklyn.

Posted on November 28, 2011 at 3:23pmLook at the report. hate crimes against atheist stands at about 5, hate crimes against all religion stands at about 50. So atheist are 10 times more likely to comment a hate crime than be the victim of one.
Look at the states with the most hate crimes, California (mostly liberal with one of the highest % of atheist) has the highest rate of hate crimes than any state.
It’s strange, with all the Christian churches burnt and/or vandalized and Pastors that have been shot and/or killed (33 of them), within the last 10 years, why hate crimes against Christians and the media’s play on it has been so low. Go to local news channels and search church “shooting”, “arson” or “vandals”. Don’t bother searching the mainstream liberal media.

I consider things like, how many total investigations were done, how were the hate crimes defined, were hate crimes against Christians accurately reported or were they suppressed, The statistical data can be manipulated in many ways to show what the Federal Agency wants. Past experience has taught me how hospital statistics are manipulated to get grants and make the quality of Federal Agencies look better than it is or used to get funds for certain programs.

Some of the Jews in the Nazi party served so their families would not be put in concentration camps or killed. Not all people of a certain race or religion are all good or all bad. There are currently 5,275,000 Jews in the US according to the census. Now lets assume that all the Jews are of voting age (which they are obviously not). There are a total of 235,809,266 eligible voting age population in the US. Unless my math is off, that equals 2.24% of the votes in the US. There are 173,402,000 Christians in the US which control 73.5% of the Vote. Now if I do my homework correctly, if all the Jews in the Us voted Democrat as you claim, it still would not make a dent if all the people you claim voted Republican. This goes to show you that religion has nothing to do with the way people vote and YOUR people actually were the majority to vote Obama in. I guess the truth hurts and ignorance shows no bounds….

When shifts need to be covered for those who request Christmas and/or Easter off to be with family, the Jewish community has always gladly stepped up to help us re-arrange staffing schedules so that our Christian families can celebrate together. I count among my closest friends those honorable and loving Jewish folks who exhibit so much kindness and understanding toward our needs, and I would gladly reciprocate to help them whenever there is an occasion to do so. I am Jewish and I am telling all you morons… we are not asking anyone to worship us. In fact I find that dam insulting because I do not want you bow down to me anymore than I want to bow down to you. I am not in control of the finance market, I hate wall street and consider it a gambling casino, I hate the FED, and I think the Federal government is too big and power should be returned to the states. I want nothing more than every person in America to be able to find a job and support their family and worship whomever they call god. I would love for this to be the great nation it once was where the world admired the products we sold for quality and the standard of EVERYONE who works hard living to increase.
The problem is you haters who blame the Jews for controlling the money are the same people that want all the entitlements. I have never relied on anyone except my parents for support, maybe you should start changing the way your life goes and stop worrying about what others do and have. You want it, EARN it. Now there is a concept. remember the American dream is different for EVERYONE. I suggest you figure out what it is and go and achieve it and that does not included collecting entitlements.
