    Snow, sorry to hear about the allergies. Try living in west Tennessee. According to the university of Memphis science dept. The Memphis area has more variety of trees bushes and other flowering plant life than any where else in the country. Hoping for a hard freeze then heavy rain to put an end to this. For my kids sake. I out grew my allergies by staying outdoors so much

      I live in Shelby County, TN and you’re right about the pollen. You probably know the saying , “If you‘re don’t have allergies before moving to Memphis you will soon.” My allergies aren’t severe, but my poor son took weekly allergy shots for most of his early teen years. He’s allergic to 3 of 4 grasses, oak trees (which are everywhere) and moldspores (which most people are in some form).

      My husband noticed he looked “strange” now we know it was from plastic surgery. It was either too much or not nearly enough, because he just looks bad! I guess that Harvard PR group made him do it and they couldn’t pull enough political strings to get the old terrorist to Beverly HIlls!

    Here is England, I really appreciate Glenn Beck’s analysis of world affairs.

    The political line of the BBC, e.g. in its hostility to Israel, is similar to that of Al Jazeera English (which has been available here for some years).

    The BBC not only has ‘technical’ agreements with Al Jazeera, but quite a few staff have moved from jobs at the BBC to working for Al Jazeera, at its London studios.

    Thank GOD, I’m not young anymore, I would not want to be around when our daughters, granddaughters and nieces will be forced to live in fear of believing in their own religion. I know some Muslims who are wonderful people and love the freedoms they have in this country, but they will soon be living in fear again too.
    I wonder if all these people who are pushing for sharia to be the law of the land in the United States will ever regret their actions

    The nationality of a “terrorist” is irrelevant as it pertains to violence right?

    If we used the term “ Iranian Terrorist” we would have to have proof to substantiate that right?

    If we used the term “Islamic terrorist” we would need proof of that origin.

    So anyone who commits an act of violence that induces terror can be considered a terrorist right?

    If a group identifying themselves as “ The Baptist Christian Brotherhood” were to create or cause to be created, an act of violence, could we not then label them Christian Baptist terrorists??

    …….or……do we refer to them as American terrorist, since they come from America?

      I watch Al Jazeera on Link TV ( that leftist channel) because the news exerpts are taken from Arabic broadcasts intended for Arabs, not Americans. Sometimes that gives me insight into their thinking and their order of importance – all the chatter. The English version our of DC or London is pure propaganda – a complete waste of time.

      Where is 007 when you need him to fight a “New World Order”, wasn’t that the term GHWB used as a reason to fight Saddam Hussein 1991 in the first Gulf War? So if that was correct then the Bush Family is part of the problem also, since it was GWB that used special financial skills to fight his war against a shadow Gov’t called al-Queda. Just because someone has an (R) next to their identity does not mean that they are a friend to the Constitution. It was (R) Teddy Roosevelt in the 20′s that took the Progressive Movement into National Politics. Woodrow Wilson was the beginning but it was TR that kept it going and grew the movement even bigger. So Progressivism is a cancer in both parties and it needs to be killed by Political Chemo and buried.

      Maybe we need to do more like Europe and call the parties by their philosophy as Conservative/Liberal/Progressive that way the public would be able to have a small chance at knowing what the Pols stand for.       The most important entity promoting Islamic supremacism, shariah, and the caliphate through – at

      eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated….” Author Robert Spencer has popularized the term “stealth jihad” to describe this part of the shariah adherents’ civilization jihad, and the two terms are used interchangeably in this report.
      This commitment to employ whatever tactics are most expedient was expressed back in 1966 by one

      In short, it is the enemy among us, disguised by deceit, that poses the greater long-term threat to our
      legal system and way of life.
      As this report demonstrates, many of the most prominent Muslim organizations in America are front
      groups for the Muslim Brotherhood28. New Brotherhood entities are added each year. The fact that so hostile an entity enjoys such a large footprint and dominant position within our society speaks volumes about the Ikhwan’s organizational and financial reach29. The fact is that no other Muslim group in the United States has been able even remotely to rival the Ikhwan’s resource base, organizational skill or financial resources.
      Multiculturalism, political correctness, misguided notions of tolerance and sheer willful blindness
      have combined to create an atmosphere of confusion and denial in America about the current threat confronting the nation. Of particular concern is the fact that political and military leaders in the United States find it difficult and/or distasteful to explain the true nature of the enemy to the public. Even when presented with detailed factual briefings and voluminous information about the essential linkage between shariah and violent acts of terrorism, most simply refuse to speak candidly about that connection.

      If Al Jazeera is after Beck you just know he has hit the nail square on the head! As for Hillary, Obama’s flip-flopping would drive anyone crazy, but there is no excuse for pushing Al Jazeera as hard as she has been these past few weeks. Rush always said Hillary kept “them” in a box – I think Hillary has lost “them”. Wonder how Chelsea and her (possibly) daughters are going to look with only their eyes showing.

      Doing somewhat better this morning here, just having major allergy problems, the apartments I live in are surrounded by flowering trees and bushes; makes it miserable this time of year, and with most of the aprartments being recarpeted, the plumbing being worked on, the electrical being upgraded and so many other projects at one time the dust is incredible, and the allergy meds my doc gave for me to take leaves me groggy and not always functional.

      Better than sneezing and wheezing all the time though; not to mention having the problems of not being able to breath very well.

      Also, the city has been working on a pipe repair outside the front of the apartments, right where I live, making emergency repairs to the water mains; quite a sight seeing one go off…instant geyser for a bit of time.

      Thanks for asking, hope all is good today for you.

      SNOW, good news (thought maybe you, mom or friend had taken a turn for the worse), at least pollens will eventually go away. Having taken allergy shots for years, I can sympathize with your plight altho so many of the meds today don’t leave you drowsy. Hope that improves soon. Careful of the dust as walking pneumonia seems to go hand in hand with that. Take care – very cool here this morning (52) and looks to be a beautiful day. Cats are all good (and the Gators won last night in overtime!)

      The only thing I agree with Hillary on this is that she is right about the “watching millions of commercials and the arguments of the talking heads. I get sick of hearing “We will bring this breaking story to you when we come back after commercial break” And then I have to wait for 3 more commercial breaks before they get to the story.

      Not horrible but there is certainly an Islamic undercurrent to the reporting. Take the piece on the Muslim Brotherhood. The video include a history of the Muslim Brotherhood. It advises the founder, Hasan al-Banna’s goal was to spread Islam accross an empire stretching from Spain to Indonesia (Hmmmm, where have I heard that before?). Has that goal changed JZS?

      In the same piece at time stamp 14:35 the question is asked about gender equality. The response from the panelist was very telling, basically saying, let us govern ourselves (code for sharia law). Not one panel questioned him further or commented on his statement. To me that is no better than how American Newscasters in the mainstream media would react. There was a time that our media would have prodded further. Not today.

      It seems to me it is problematic for a news agency to have a religion bent to it. How do you feel about the CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) or The Christian Post?

      As far as your comment, “believe that all Muslims are evil because Beck says so.” First, Glenn Beck does not view “all” muslim’s as evil. On another article you asked someone to post a quote from any Obama Administration official that stated the Tea Party was violent. Here, I am going to ask you, show me one clip in which Glenn Beck states that “all” muslims are evil? There are Muslims that are evil. There are Jews that are evil. There are Christians that are evil. But I have yet to hear Glenn say that “all” Muslims are evil. Prove me wrong if you can.

      If not then you are as guilty as what you accuse us of. You may listen to Glenn Beck at times but you don’t really hear him.

      Said it before, but Al Jazeera has great world news, as most of you don’t know because you have never watched it. The Islamic extremists hate Al Jazeera because they are modern and not extreme. As a news junkie myself, I find the US news channels are very lacking when it comes to world news. Have been watching Al Jazeera a lot since the revolutions started, and their coverage of Japan is also very good. They are still doing reports out of Japan concerning the triple disaster, as most news channels are stuck on Libya now. To those of you who don’t want to know what is happening outside of the US, don’t watch Al Jazeera.
