Feeling the Heat in DC: Congressional Approval Rate Drops to 17%, Obama 47%

Recent Gallup reports show that congressional approval rates have fallen another 7 percent to the point where only 17 percent of Americans can say they approve of the current job performance of Congress. President Obama’s approval rate has also declined another 3 percent in the last two weeks.
The uptick in approval in May could be attributed to the capture and death of Osama bin Laden but between the recent Rep. Anthony Weiner scandal and fear of a looming economic downturn, America’s faith in Congress has retreated to feelings of disapproval that were rampant as recently as April.
Barack Obama‘s approval rating went down 3 percent over the last two weeks to only 47 percent satisfied with the president’s performance. Gallup comparison shows that at the same point 876 days in office, President George W. Bush’s approval rate was 16 percent higher at 63 percent approval. In fact President Obama’s approval rating has remained 51 percent or lower since early November 2009, only passing the half way mark several times. Congress’s approval rating has not surpassed 25% since January 2010.

Same as on election day.
If this continues, and the rating keeps going down 3 percent every two weeks, that means he’ll be down to 41 percent in two weeks, 35 percent in a month, 23 percent in two months, 11 percent in three months, and then pass 0 in the fifth month. Six months from now, he’ll be at negative 5 percent approval, and by election day his approval rating will be about -158 percent.
Looks bad for the Democrats.

Hust because the federal goverment takes money out of their checks through out the year they think they’re really paying taxes.
