Female Occupy Nashville Protesters Caught in All-Out Brawl on Christmas Day

The Occupy movement has largely fallen silent over the last few weeks. But two Occupy Nashville protesters made plenty of noise with an all-out brawl at the movement’s encampment on Christmas Day.
The brawl, between two females, was captured on video by a WTVF-TV photojournalist. And according to the station, one woman (seen in green below) claims she’s three months pregnant:
The station explains:
NewsChannel 5′s videojournalist was on assignment at Legislative Plaza Sunday covering the holiday celebration, when the angle of the story suddenly changed. Two of the protestors started arguing with each other; one of them was three-months pregnant. Harsh words led to hair pulling and punching, and both of them landed on the ground.
While other protestors tried to break up the situation, NewsChannel 5′s videographer called 911 for help. Medics rushed to the scene and took the pregnant protestor to the hospital to be checked out. Police started investigating the situation, and charges may be filed.
But overall, protestors say it was an unconventional Christmas they can call a success, even if peace didn’t always prevail.
It’s unclear what started the argument, but one occupier interviewed by the station tried to explain away the violence.
“Anywhere you go there’s gonna to be anger, there’s gonna be problems,” she said.

When they complain that the rich can afford to pay more taxes, we simply need to reply…
ONCE THE WASTE IS CUT OUT of the money that the govt already takes, THEN, we can ask for more. Until then, it is UNCONSCIONABLE to take more money FROM ANYONE, until we can assure them that it is being spent WISELY, and JUDICIOUSLY.
ONCE the government is a good steward of the money they already receive, THEN they will have a righteous platform on which to stand and insist that they need MORE money.
UNTIL SUCH TIME, the government is demanding MORE MONEY TO WASTE. And THAT is INDEFENSIBLE !

The Christmas desk staff probably thought going over to the Plaza for a few minutes of Occupy filler on one of the slowest news days of the year was the easiest way of getting out of any real work. Of course, the protesters decided to use the opportunity to showcase their true talents, previewing a scene from their next big event, “Jerry Springer: the 99-ers Musical!”
