Female Police Officer Disciplined After Slapping Fogel Family Murderer Across the Face

A female police officer interrogating one of the murderers of the Fogel family was so revolted by his “defiant” smile, she slapped him across the face. Just days ago, Amjad Awad, one of the two Palestinian cousins who murdered five members of the young Israeli family last March was sentenced to five life sentences. According to Israel’s Channel 2, which reported the incident exclusively [Hebrew link], killer Amjad Awad’s smile “from ear to ear” made the 52-year-old officer lose control:

A senior investigator with the Judea and Samaria police district could not control herself when she was faced with the Fogel family murderer smiling defiantly toward her during his interrogation – and slapped him. After that, she was sent to him in order to apologize. As a result of the incident, the female police officer was convicted by police court and was severely disciplined.

The investigator, who just last year was awarded outstanding police officer for her district, passed over Awad’s face during one of the interrogations and decided to slap him after he smiled – in her words – ‘defiantly’ at her. Right afterwards, she was taken to the interrogation room and apologized to him, as demanded by the murderer.

When the officer was brought to the police disciplinary court, she expressed regret for her actions and clarified that it was an uncontrollable impulse. It should be noted that this officer arrived at the family’s house on the night of the murder, entered the apartment and was exposed to the difficult sights at the scene. The disciplinary court did not take her into consideration and convicted her and sentenced her to a severe reprimand.

The Blaze spoke to the mayor of the town of Itamar in the Samaria region of the West Bank where the Fogel family lived. It was there that father Udi, mother Ruth, and children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4, and 3-month old Hadas were stabbed to death in their home, with the baby’s’ throat being slashed while she was in her crib.

Mayor Moshe Goldsmith saw the bloody crime scene himself and says, “When I walked into the house I couldn’t look at the bloodshed of the family and children. It was a nightmare a literal nightmare.”

Female Police Officer Disciplined After Slapping Fogel Family Murderer Across the FaceConsidering the horrific sight, Goldsmith is surprised by the disciplinary hearing. He says:

“It’s absolutely ridiculous to reprimand her in any way with someone so evil and cruel to smile in a situation like that. It’s so insensitive and cruel on the part of the police to reprimand her in any way. We’re talking about the most cruel murderers that there could be.”

The Judea and Samaria police district defended its actions in a statement to Channel 2:

“Even though in this case the murderer carried out inhuman acts, and despite taking into account the difficult sights to which the police officer was exposed, the way she conducted herself was not in line with police values and therefore she was dealt with in a disciplinary level.”

Amjad, age 19, and his 18-year-old cousin, Hakim Awad, said they decided only two days before the killing to carry out the terrorist attack. In multiple court appearances, they repeatedly smiled, made V for victory signs and expressed no remorse for killing the Fogels. Hakim was already sentenced to five life sentences in October.

      Both of these cold blooded, non-repentant murderers should get the death penalty, if Israel has one. If not, they should be in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day with 1 hour exercise with only guards present. The Officer, who was at the bloody crime scene, was not professional when she slapped that low life skum but I can fully understand how she felt when that animal smiled at her. Murderous former-humans just like these have moved to America and would do this to their own wife or sister. What chance do us infidels have ?

      He’s a murderer, however, she opened up a whole can of worms to his advantage by not controlling her emotions. When life is ruled by emotions and not cool reason, bad things happen. We cheer his being slapped, but brother, know that his lawyer is cheering as well today.

      Self restraint is a fast dying concept.

      She may have been the last person to be sent in to interview the killer since she saw the murder scene and victims first hand. Seems a bit much but is telling about Israeli Police….theres no coverup here folks when many in the world swear Jews are all about conspiracies. Not in this case! They go way overboard in my opinion in disciplining the officer.

      Israel adheres to their philosophy that the ends don’t justify the means. I’m not saying their philosophy is necessarily correct, but when all of their hostile neighbors believe the opposite, they‘d see themselves as hypocrites if they didn’t bargain away advantages in exchange for just one human life. I think it’s noble.

      If you‘ve watched the history channel long enough you’re bound to come across films of Jews being murdered by Germans during WWII. In some of those films you can see where the Jews would jump off the truck and run down in a ditch to then be shot. The ditch may already have several layers of dead Jews in the bottom, but these people would almost look like they were helping the Germans in their “work”. I’ve watched as a German hangman was placing a noose around a guys neck and the condemed man would actually lower hs head to make it easier for the hangman. Now if a race of people would seemingly co-operate in their own genocide, why does this judgement of this guard surprise anyone? These 2 bastards need killing.       I think GOD would have forgiven her for slapping the guy.. God says we must live with the laws of the land as well as his.. since BOTH say to MURDER someone is against BOTH his law and ours a slap would be over looked.. I do think that the family of the Fogel’s should be left in a room with these heartless bast3rds for a few hours just to wipe the smirk off their faces..

      This would have been a better story if it read ” Police officer pulls her weapon and shoots Fogel Family murderer betwwen the eye’s thus splattering his brains all over the wall behind him. Investigators think it may have been accidental. She was just showing him her gun and it went off. The weapon will be checked for defects.

    Why did they send her into interrogate him?She shouldn’t have been the one to do so.If you have investigated a scene that devastating ,the natural and justifiable rage you’d feel ,can be overwhelming.
    You couldn’t be but so objective in your interrogation.This poses a problem both for the innocent and quilty.[I'm speaking in general terms of investigations in this statement, not specifically this case]
    For what its worth I’d give her a pay raise and a medal for showing such restraint.She merely slapped him.I seriously think many others would have done far worse.Don’t ask me to state what I might have done.The fifth comes to mind

    This why I believe in capitol punishment. There are some people in this world who flat out deserve to be executed. How long will these 2 animals be in prison before they are released in exchange for an Israeli citizen that is being held hostage by some Muslim group? I recommend that these 2 be held in a prison whose population is all non-Muslim. That way they can spend their prison time being used as the prison population’s girl friends although they may like that.

      If anybody has bothered to view one or two of those Gangland programs it will become readily apparent that our politicans are allowing, maybe even promoting gangs to increase. We should execute every person that has a gang tattoo. They’re advertising they commit crime. Sort of bragging about their lawlessness.

      These guys/jihadists/terrorists are no different. Our tax dollars pay to keep them alive. Our tax dollars don’t give enough funding for our police to fight it. Our government/politicians/judges make laws that protect the criminals…tons of money that could be used for good.

      It’s a game & law abiding citizens are the pawns. None of us want to break the law but can’t protect our country from lawlessness because of it…

      Execute/save money. My conscience wouldn’t be bothered a bit.

      *Problem is, if we go that route, any of us are fair game as well. I personally feel that we are the “fair game” while evil is set free.

      Permanent solitary confinement with nothing to read but a bible, and a steady diet of NOTHING but salt pork and bread…..No visitors, no speaking to the prisoner at all. Within a year he’ll either be a devout jew or christian….or totally insane (I prefer insane….leave him in his own hell for the rest of his life).

      Okay, to avoid potential idiotic retorts to the above, I have to explain that it is sarcasm draped in black humor. My true feelings are that the police officer should have been relieved and received medical/psych treatment for PTSD. I get the feeling that the forced apology only added to her traumatic dilemma. I would suggest nothing more than a letter of censure or reprimand be inserted in her employment file. Even that may be too harsh considering a mere slap from a female cop to this savage bastard. I can only hope that he suffers his shame in prison. No telling how the Israelis will deal with him the future considering past prisoner swaps.
