Fidel Castro Outraged Over Gadhafi Killing: Says Body Not Treated According to Muslim Norms

It seems the world’s despots can always rally to the defense of another tyrant. In this instance, former Cuban leader Fidel Castro blasted NATO on Monday for its role in overthrowing the late Moammar Gadhafi, saying the “brutal military alliance has become the most perfidious instrument of repression the history of humanity has known.”

Concerning himself with Muslim custom, the 85-year-old Castro also expressed indignation over the way the fallen dictator’s remains were treated, saying the body was “kidnapped and exhibited like a trophy of war, a conduct that violates the most elemental principles of Muslim norms and other religious beliefs.”

Reuters adds:

His comments were published in Cuban state-run media in one of the occasional opinion columns he has written since falling ill five years ago and handing over the presidency to younger brother Raul Castro in 2008.

The elder Castro has sharply criticized NATO’s intervention in Libya from the beginning and praised Gaddafi, a Castro friend, for his resistance.

He also has attacked NATO as an instrument of his longtime ideological foe, the United States.

His comments on Monday were the first from Cuba since Gaddafi’s death

Castro’s comments might not come as any surprise, however. On Saturday The Blaze reported that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez also expressed outrage over Gadhafi’s killing, calling him a “martyr.”

Awww…isn’t that a shame. Maybe Hugo Chavez or Sean Penn forgot to change his adult diaper the last time they visited.

I pray the lord not to go there..in my mind I know many people would do the same to Castro,Chavez and other glorified assassins.
CHE was put on display. All these killers cant quit. The taste of blood and power is a vice and mental state of degenerated humanity. Religious beliefs are also freedom and justice of the enslaved.
Guilty as Castro are all the regressive thoughts. In action, a fair trial would have been a better option.
What are the examples of fairness? None in these countries, so drawing blood gives life to many.
Should have the President gone in to get him before killing so many others? Yes.
Going in to get Castro when thousands have already been killed trying to be free for 62 years now…who is OUTRAGED? Let’s all wear bloody red Gadhafi T-Shirts now!
