Final Mega-Millions Winner to Be Announced Tomorrow

With Kansas and Maryland having already named their individual recipients for the $600 million plus Mega Millions jackpot, the final of the three winners – from Illinois – is set to come forward soon, according to USA Today:
The winner, from Red Bud, a city of 4,000 in southern Illinois, near St. Louis, will be presented with a check for $218.66 million. That’s before taxes — 25% federal, 5% state.
The winner will be unmasked at 10 a.m. CT (11 a.m. ET) at the Red Bud Village Hall. The winning ticket was bought at the nearby Motomart.[...]
The Maryland winners turned up to collect their check but chose to be identified only as “The Three Amigos.” The Kansas winner is keeping his identity entirely secret.
Unlike Maryland and Kansas, Illinois does not allow its recipients to collect their checks anonymously. As such, the lucky winner of the Mega Millions jackpot will soon have their face and name appearing in press coverage.

My school bus driver won $8 million in the lottery back when Mega Millions was called “Lotto.”
She bought some land, built a modest home and bought a brand new Ford pickup. She still drives the truck and lives off what the land provides. My guess is she still has the lion’s share of the winnings as her face is always framed with a smile. I don’t ask about her financial situation because only a true ******** would do so. Regardless, she is happy and still alive.
That makes you a know-it-all-know-nothing-dumbass. That makes the link you posted moot.
