Firefighter and Former Marine in Critical Condition After Being Run Over by Car in Brutal Thanksgiving Assault

A San Francisco Bay Area firefighter and former Marine remains in critical condition after being intentionally run over by a car late Thanksgiving night following an argument at a local Jack in the Box fast food restaurant.

Twenty-nine-year old single father Albert Bartal reportedly got into a physical altercation with a still unidentified another at around 3:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving night. After the two were separated by bystanders, Bartal reportedly left for a nearby Shell station.

Huffington Post reports that the other man immediately followed Bartal to the gas station in his Mazda CX, ramming the former Marine with his SUV before fleeing the scene.

Bartal suffered traumatic brain injures as a result of the crash and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.

“This is a horrible experience that no fireman or police officer would ever want to have to go through,” Justin Scheef , director of the San Mateo-Santa Cruz Chapter of the CDF Firefighter’s Union, told CBS San Francisco.

“The nice thing is that everyone bands together during these times and it’s one brotherhood.”

Below is CCTV footage captured at the scene:

Police have described the suspect as a mixed race or Latin male, 18-24 years old, with short black hair and a manicured beard. Once captured, the suspect will likely be charged with attempted murder and assault.

“Our main concern is his well-being and recovery,” Cal Fire Captain Jonathan Cox told the San Francisco Examiner, “and assisting SFPD in their ongoing investigation.”

According to Huffpo, Bartal is a San Francisco native who rose to the rank of sergeant during his four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Father of a two-year old, Bartal has spent the past five years as a seasonal firefighter at the Santa Clara County’s Saratoga Summit Fire Station.

The Albert Bartal relief fund has been established: C/O the San Francisco Police Credit Union. People may make donations at the SFPCU 2550 Irving Street, CA. 94122 (Account # 1379608)

Our government fails to protect it‘s citizens and fails to protect it’s borders. What good is it? ‘Mixed race’ trash or ‘latino’ trash. Both would probably not be here if you had a real government that cared for the safety of it’s people.

God bring this man out of his critical status and back to his family; no two-year old should have to grow up without her father. My heartfelt prayers to him and his family.

God and please kick the crap out of the perpetrator and put a hurt on him he will never forget.

It would be one thing if a grammatical or spelling mistake was a rare thing BUT it’s a regular occurrence on The Blaze. Complained about by many but, obviously, Beck doesn’t mind if his website continues to put out an unprofessional product.

Get used to it! This is the result of higher education in the United States. Spelling, grammar, punctuation and all manner of communication has been allowed to decline. The school system is at fault, not Glenn Beck. Our society chose to eliminate or make as little priority the basic communication skills. Now we all suffer by trying to sense out of any written communication. It is not only from Beck, it is pandemic in all of society and on every news team. How often have we heard the news commentators stop and try to figure out what the program producers have allowed to be broadcast? I used to think this was the fault of texting, But have come to the conclusion that the schools no longer teach English. The Unions have destroyed our teaching ability by confusing the public about our national language, English. Some think it is either English or Spanish, or…. Our society has to be serious about getting back to the basics in school as early as 1st grade. We also need to discard the revisionist history, and start teaching the truth to our young children. How many generations must we lose to the liberal left before we wake up and demand excellence? We should also return to the days when some competitor won a trophy and the rest did not, rather than everyone wins. Life is not like that!

If you read further into the article (like all the way through the first sentence) you would see that the word “remains” indicates that the “Firefighter” and the “Marine” are one in the same. That is in fact if the sentence is grammatically correct. If it were referring to two individuals it would have read “remain in critical condition” rather than “remains in critical condition”.

The USA is dead, we just haven’t shown her enough respect to bury her. Look at the demographics. I wasn’t born a Mexican, but somehow I’m morphing into one. Our only hope now is a Confederate States of America with a Christian and explicitly anti-communist constitution. God bless the CSA.

The Constitution is full of Christian references, the founders just never made it a point to state the U.S is a Christian nation. Their belief was that if you were a Baptist, Evangelists, Catholic or Jew you should be able to pray how you see fit and by placing the term “Christian nation” in the constitution might be misread to mean we are solely a Christian nation. Remember, the Pilgrims were fleeing religious persecution.

Where this country has gone wrong is the creation of institutions like Freedom “From” Religion Foundation and the like. The courts and a limited few have managed to hijack the spirit on the constitution for their own purposes and are succeeding in throwing all mentions of religion out of the country.

Our strength comes from our ability to recognize a bad thing and pointing it out as such. Communism, Progressivism, Socialism and the like are known for their problems and the fact they have never in all of history been able to work. This country is supposed to know that and recognize and point it out for the fraud that it is. But our kids aren’t taught these things anymore, our media is complicit and our elected leaders are in on the crime being committed on the American people.

I’m open for criticism and constructive comment, especially suggestions to turn this ship around.

In Life there are certain rules and laws of survival. # 1 If you are involved in a confrontation you must render your opponant helpless. You must assume that the person you are havig problems with will do you harm. So you must eliminate the problem. Never walk away or you will wid up as this former Marine. Sad , Sad story.
