First Declared GOP Presidential Candidate: Obama ‘Needs Zoloft’

It was a day of firsts in the nation’s capital Wednesday as the first official candidate for the 2012 presidential election filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission declaring his candidacy for the White House. The first 2012 contender also happens to be the first openly gay Republican running for president.

Retired California political consultant Fred Karger has already made campaign stops in Iowa and New Hampshire, run television ads and met with young Republican activists in key battleground states.

Earlier this week, Karger met with officials at the Republican National Committee (RNC), including chairman Reince Priebus, Mother Jones reports.

On Wednesday morning, Karger sat down to talk about his campaign with CBS News:

Karger also took time to critique some of his potential 2012 GOP opponents, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who Karger says is “living in the past”:

And, of course, Karger examines Obama’s presidency, concluding the commander-in-chief “needs Zoloft”:

Folks, every election there are individuals who file the paperwork and pay the few thousand bucks to run for president but have no political clout nor not enough money or donors to warrant a serious candidacy. How many of you remember seeing your primary ballot full of names you have never heard of? This is one of those guys. Don’t take his candidacy too serious, he’ll bow out and be forgotten within the first few debates, if he’s even invited to the debates with the other Republicans.

You really don’t watch much TV do you? or go to the movies? it’s all gay. even simple shows that should just be “informative” and “fun” The cooking shows – How to get fatter – and by the way – all my guests are gay men. how to buy a house or redecorate one – over 80% gay. ABC – pushes gay so hard makes my …. squeek. People, many many Americans, many who decry homosexuality, watch and support these shows and their sponsors. this guy has as much chance as Obama – probably not. I think Obama will actually win another four year vacation for his queen Michelle at taxpayer expense.

Oh, and obligates everyone else to pay!

To be a conservative, a true one, there has to be a moral center. To think there is a special status and special rights because of some choices, and “orientations” is not logical or moral.

There are a couple areas Beck has been a total coward on and this is one of them…

The other is the Birther stuff… Beck says the truth has no agenda and that we should all question with boldness… then turns right around and attacks people who question (and I might add that Beck freely admits he doesn‘t know and hasn’t bothered to check)….

Fred Karger isn’t just a gay Republican – he is a total gay rights activist who will stop at nothing to get attention. Google “Fred Karger Boom Boom Room.”Long story short, an “iconic” gay bar closed in Laguna Beach because the property was purchased by a billionaire who wanted to redo it into a boutique hotel, the couple who had been running the bar were ready to move onto the next thing in their lives, and no one in the gay community could/would pony up the money to buy the property from the owner. Karger pushed to make the property owner out to be anti-gay, going to such extents as getting celebrities to petition him to “Save the Boom” and protesting in front of AIG’s headquarters (because the owner’s company was a subsidiary of AIG – his office wasn’t even in that building), etc., in the hopes the owner would donate the multimillion dollar property. It was such bizarre logic. http://articles.ocregister.com/2008-02-28/cities/24724387_1_gay-community-boom-boom-room-steven-udvar-hazy

I covered all of this as a journalist, and I would never vote for Karger. His politics take a backseat to his gay rights agenda, and he is not a fair human being from my interactions with him.

      PRESIDENT OBAMA’S MOTIVES:
Do you actually believe that Mr. Obama is actually trying to improve the economy? In recent history, almost all coups, resulting in a dictatorship were preceded by a very severe economic crisis. Is that economic crisis Mr. Obama’s objective? Remember when Rahm Emanuel , Obama’s chief of staff, stated one should never waste a crisis. What do you think he meant? You should be very afraid!

      Mr. Obama presents 3 alternatives:
      • Ignorance, which can be cured with knowledge
      • Stupidity, which is forever
      • Evil, he plans to avenge King George III by destroying the American Revolution and create a dictatorship.

Almost every initiative that Obama has instigated is destructive to the economy. Does anyone really believe that a President can be that stupid or ignorant? If you do, I have some perfectly dry, vacant land that is completely ready for development in Florida for sale cheap, cash only.

@tobywil2 Very good points. One would hope that a person who gets elected President isn’t a complete imbecile. Which would lead one to concluded that he’s evil. However, I do think that Barry is WAY below average for a president in his intellectual capacity. I hear it every time he speaks. He just plain doesn’t have critical thinking skills, zero analytical skills and he doesn’t have the ability to think several steps ahead. He sounds to me like an 8th grader trying to sound smart when he isn’t. So I’m still sticking with … he’s an idiot that idiots voted for. Just watch him off prompter. You’d have to be pretty dense to think that there are 57 + 1 states, people speak “Austrian”, that government run health care will bring greater competition, choice & savings and that people who serve in the Navy are called “Corpse-Man”. Yeah, I stand with the idiot scenario. ;-)
