Flashback: Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright Foster Gaddafi Alliance

During the 2008 presidential race, then-Sen. Barack Obama worked to distance himself from his old pastor, Chicago‘s Trinity United Church of Christ’s Rev. Jeremiah Wright. The Washington Post’s Richard Cohen wrote at the time how Wright had granted a lifetime achievement award to radical Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
…[Farrakhan] has vilified whites and singled out Jews to blame for crimes large and small, either committed by others as well or not at all. (A dominant role in the slave trade, for instance.) He has talked of Jewish conspiracies to set a media line for the whole nation. He has reviled Jews in a manner that brings Hitler to mind.
And yet, as Cohen noted at the time, Obama’s pastor and spiritual adviser “heaped praise” on Farrakhan in awarding him the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeteer Award, claiming Farrakhan had “truly epitomized greatness.”
In response, Obama was forced to release this statement:
I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan. I assume that Trumpet Magazine made its own decision to honor Farrakhan based on his efforts to rehabilitate ex-offenders, but it is not a decision with which I agree.
But Wright’s relationship with the controversial Farrakhan extended far beyond an award. In 1984, Wright personally accompanied Farrakhan to Libya to meet with Muammar Gaddafi in Tripoli. In 2008, Wright even predicted his association with Farrakhan and Gaddafi may cause political headaches for Obama’s presidential aspirations: “When [Obama's] enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli to visit [Gadhafi] with Farrakhan, a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell,” he said.
The Libyan dictator has been a strong supporter of Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam and heavily financed the controversial group. In 1985, Gaddafi affirmed his solidarity with Farrakhan with a $5 million interest-free loan.
In 1996, officials in the Clinton administration worked to block Farrakhan from receiving more than $1 billion in donations from Gaddafi.
”We are not terrorists,” Farrakhan said at the time. ”We are not trying to do anything against the good of America. What we want to do is good for our people and ultimately good for our nation.”
That same year, Farrakhan traveled to Libya and received Gaddafi’s International Prize for Human Rights, a $250,000 “honor” also bestowed on the likes of Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega and “the children of Palestine.”
According to reports from Libya’s news agency in 1996, the Farrakhan-Gaddafi alliance was aimed at mobilizing “oppressed blacks, Arabs, Muslims and Red Indians” in the United States to help reshape U.S. foreign policy. Until he allied himself with Farrakhan, Gaddafi reportedly characterized Libyan foreign policy as a “confrontation with America” he likened to “a fight against a fortress from outside.”
But once he asserted his alliance with Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, Gaddafi claimed to have “a breach to enter into this fortress and confront it.”
Trinity United‘s Black Liberation Theology provides the basis on which Wright and Farrakhan’s cooperation rests.
During the 2008 election, many Obama critics pointed toward the then-Senator’s close relationship with Wright and criticized the second-degree association with Farrakhan. Wright and Obama are also believed to have attended the Million Man March on Washington, led by Farrakhan and other black leaders, including Rev. Al Sharpton.
“He has been a leader of liberation movements throughout the world, but our government has supported many puppet regimes in Africa and Central and South America,” Farrakhan said.
When Gaddafi traveled to address the United Nations in 2009, Farrakhan again praised him as a “leader of liberation movements throughout the world… I am sure that when people hear him on [U.S.] soil, most will admire him and will learn more about him and respect him,” he added.
“We are hoping that under President Barack Obama, Libya can come more into the sunlight,” Farrakhan added. “The Obama administration can be a great help in this. ”
Now, with unrest in Libya dominating the world’s headlines and the ouster of the murderous Muammar Gaddafi seemingly imminent, many are wondering why the American president has been so silent, especially compared to the Obama administration‘s outspoken criticism of Egypt’s recently disposed President Hosni Mubarak.
While there is no evidence which directly ties Obama to Gaddafi, the president’s silence has emboldened many bloggers who have allowed speculation to run rampant. If the president does not step up to publicly condemn Gaddafi’s reported violent attacks on Libyan citizens, rumors will continue to circulate and the Obama administration will face a PR crisis on top of the unfolding crises facing the country and the world.

When then Senator Obama was a regular attendee of Trinity United, the church regularly handed out pamphlets supporting Hamas and vilified Israel. So how can a man of Obama’s genius be a member of this church, regularly listen to Wright’s sermons, and then claim he was unaware of any bias towards Israel? Same as his friendship with Farrakhan . . . Obama attended Farrakhan’s home in Chicago for a private party, and Farrakhan’s views on Israel are well known as too his close friendship with K-Daffy. Obama, Wright, and Farrakhan are all one in the same. Only difference – Obama is President and his real focus and agenda right now is re-election. The more chaos with these state budgets and union protesters, he figures the better for him in organizing his army, with the help of Van Jones, for victory in 2012.

Too bad a “real journalist” doesn’t chroniclize by date and activity what these relationships are to better inform America at large, just who is attempting pull our chain, afterall all of this stuff is in the public domain. Seems like every time, these events come up, there is some relationship ties back to Chicago, doesn’t it. There is an ideology struggle going on in our country and it’s viscious, just who are these people anyway. Why are they using young people to push their agenda, perhaps because young are immpressionable and vulnerable? This has nothing to do with race, but every thing to do with opposing ideologies. Why would these folks have ties to Gaddafi, the terrorist anyway. Better wake up America.

I knew when this issue of Jerimiah Wright first came out before potus was elected that he, potus, was a liar that was NOT to be trusted. Not to mention the back ground of Chicago politics, and lack of any experience besides “communtity organizing” which is really turning out to be rabble rousing and trouble making, setting Americans against each other to divide and conquer. So the pastor of his and Farrakan went to meet with the Libyan Lunatic in Chief, and there may be no direct ties with him and the POTUS? For right now, I will allow the possiblility to be plausable, yet for Obama to remain silent for nine days, and when he spoke last night with no mention of Quaddafi directly, his actions leave plenty of room for suspicions and for what is really going on in the woods.

Jews tend Democrat not because most Republicans are Christian, but because historically the Democrats have usually been the more ethnically-culturally-religiously “inclusive” of the two major parties.
Not just Jews but Irish, Italians, and many other groups, going back to the days when the GOP was (believe it or not) the big-government party, always trying to close down saloons, insist on rigid Sabbath observance, emancipate blacks who would then compete for low-wage immigrant jobs, etc.
It takes a longtime for ethnic groups to wean themselves away from historic ties such as these; it was nearly a century after Lincoln before blacks realized that the Republicans hadn’t done much for them lately and began to go over to the Dems.

On his radio show Feb 22, Beck compared Jewish rabbis to Islamic radical mullahs.
On his radio show Feb 22 Beck also LIED LIED LIED when he said of the 400 rabbis who had written to Fox to complain about him, “none were orthodox rabbis.” Thats a lie: many were Orthodox rabbis. Get you facts straight, Beck. Dont lie.

Abraham Foxman of the anti-defamation league, who has not always been critical of Beck, put it well:
“To compare Reform Judaism, which supports democratic institutions, to Islamic extremism, which supports anti-democratic movements and the repression of basic rights – including, for example, the denial of women’s rights – is beyond the pale,” Foxman said. “Glenn Beck has no right to discount the faith of any people, and he should think twice before commenting on something he doesn’t know much about. He owes the Reform movement an apology.”

The reason that The Minister Farrakhan and Reverend Wright sojourned to Libya in 1985 was so that they could bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Colonel Ghkadtaphvffi and attempt to win him. A noble and obedient calling in which they were highly sucessful. The Colonel was so utterly moved by their presentation, that he insisted The Minister Farrakhan accept his $5M offering to aid in The LORD’s Work. President Obama does not want to sow discord among the bretheren by getting involved in the petty grievances of Libya’s overprivilaged and ungrateful populace. Suffice it to say that Colonel Ghkadtaphvffi is dearly beloved by the vast majority of Libyans, and God will protect and exalt him throughout this miniscule hiccup.

Another chance meeting leads him to O’Brian, an Inner Party member he believes to be associated with a conspiracy against the Party, part of a secret society known only as the Brotherhood. He and Julia immediately join, and promise to do whatever they can to help the Brotherhood. O’Brian promises them that nothing will ever happen in their lifetime, and their service with the Brotherhood will most certainly lead to torture and death by the Party. This doesn’t bother them in the slightest.
It doesn’t take them long to get caught, however (betrayed, ultimately, by a kindly shopkeeper they trusted, who turns out to be a member of the Thought Police), and they’re both taken to the Ministry of Love for torture and interrogation.
Winston is held there for months, getting tortured by O’Brian himself, who turns out to be a member of the Party. He holds out against him and his brainwashing for a long time, but in the end he betrays Julia, and himself. He submits to their brainwashing and learns to love Big Brother, and Big Brother only. He has no individualism, no thoughts that are not approved by the party, and no love for his fellow man. He is released from his prison, considered a “perfect specimen” by the Party and safe for society.
