FNC‘s Cavuto Slams Chris Matthews’ Mockery of Chris Christie’s Weight

“Your World” host Neil Cavuto took a moment out of his Monday afternoon broadcast to lambaste Chris Matthews‘ recent mockery of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s weight.  The Blaze was first to post the key audio clip of  Matthews’ comments over the weekend.

Cavuto — who described himself as “slightly overweight” — says he was “very pissed” over the “nonsense” attacks, calling it “racism… with a scale.” Cavuto suggested the MSNBC host,  calling him simply Media Chris, could “look in the mirror” before making any more condescending remarks.

Go, Neil!

Unfortunately Matthews isn‘t the only talking head who thinks making fun of Christie’s weight is good punditry. You may have also seen a number of recent posts on The Blaze featuring Columbia professor and frequent cable news guest Marc Lamont Hill who has made a point of describing the governor’s weight as a political liability.

Chris Mathew‘s only claim to fame is he once worked for Democrat Speaker Tip O’Niel who was a very large man. Chris should thank Congressman O‘Niel everyday of his life because he wouldn’t be where he is without the likes of a very over weight man. Grow up Mathews!

When liberals can’t argue the facts and the truth against Conservatives and when Conservative policies and actions not only work, but work faster and better then any imaginary Keynesians crapolla any liberal ever tries, all the liberals have left is to go after someone personally… “she’s stupid, he’s fat, blah blah blah…”

Its because otherwise the only things left that liberals would be able to talk about is that they are so wrong and Conservatives, as always… are always RIGHT!

One of the few shows on Fox that I bother watching anymore. crissie matthews needs to pay attention to and stop slobbering all over the place everytime he opens his mouth and yeah he isn’t so skinny either. Those who live in glass houses should NOT throw stones. Of course we all know why moron matthews does it – he is jealous – so jealous of success. Go back to feeling your tingling up your legs and with a whole lot of luck we will crack up laughing because you have to call him President Chris Christie – how awesome that would be.

I too have been in wonder at the hateful ugly attacks from the left. I wouldn’t even know who Chris Matthews is if it were not for The Blaze and Fox News. It does seem to me that the only thing that the left can do is attack folks personally. They can’t attack them on policy, they can only attack people personally that they are frightened of. I wonder if they realize how stupid they look when they can only attack someone for being “fat”. I spent most of my life, trying to gain a pound, with people thinking I was “dying” because I was so underweight. I don’t have the problem any longer. I would NEVER judge a person by how much they weigh. I’m the same person thin or fat. Now it would just take me a little longer to starve to death, which we may all be experiencing if things keep going like they are.

Rightpolitically, I also think of Neville Chamberlain who was a rather fit gentleman and Winston Churchill who was somewhat portly. Winston was more fit when it came to leadership than Neville. The very people who mock the governor of New Jersey’s weight also seem to be the same people who are concerned about the rise of bullying in schools in regards to gay children. I guess their philosophy is bullying is just fine if you are mocking someone’s weight. Genetic weight is not easy to overcome no matter how many cheeseburgers you don’t consume – you would think someone like Chris Matthews, who appears to have that problem, would understand that.

      Good job Niel Cavuto!

Regarding thin people that are evil in DC reminds me of the Shakespear play Julius Ceasar.

“He has that lean and hungry look…Such men are dangerous”.

That reference in the play was to Brutus who was insstrumental in the play’s tragedy.

So for thin progressives the above quote is timeless. Think of Obama. The quote fits him to the “T”.

He certainly does seem to be the poster child of the “lean and hungry look”.

When your basic premise is false your tactics are extremely limited! The only arguments that you can use are fear mongering, emotion, sarcasm, ridicule, attacking the messenger and misrepresentation of the facts (lying). Those who expect to reap huge profits from our misery caused by tyranny are experts at these tactics.

The only relevant issue is freedom or tyranny!!!!

@heavyduty… I’m on the other side of the spectrum. I’m thin and have tried unsuccessfully to gain any weight. Finally, I’ve just accepted it.

But whenever someone came up to me and said I was skinny, my counter attack was, “You’re Fat!” That usually shuts them up. Depending who it is, I normally explain why I said that. Once they hear what I have to say, they normally say, “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize.”

I‘ve come to the conclusion that most American’s were indoctrinated that if you ‘re not skinny, you don’t matter. We all live in a sorry society that the outer appearance superceeds the inner appearance. And that is SO wrong!

I’m with Neil Cavuto (whom I love to pieces) this pointing out a person’s weight really ****** me off too. People only do these things to those who show competence and power and “git ‘er done” attitude because they are so jealous of having none of these attributes. That’s why they cut Sarah so often, they are simply jealous of people they fear. ha ha! For a man who feels tingles up his leg (because he wee-wee’d on himself) he has no reason to poke fun at others, look at his ratings, ha! For one, I’m really tired of the likes of Matthews, and the other so called clowns on TV. Throw in the dumb female comedians while you’re at it. Marc Lamont Hill … proves you can be an “educated” fool. Then again so does Obama!

It’s unfortunate that most of us had to deal with more sophisticated name callers in Elementry School than calling someone overweight. Libs: Let us know when you’re done with the coloring books.

Thank you Neil for your response to Chris Matthews and his comments about Governor Christie’s weight. Since a great percentage of Americans are also overweight I would think that Matthew’s comments would wrinkle the brow of a lot of them. Neil is right, racism comes in many forms and the public criticism of someone’s weight is one of them.
I’m 72 years old, 5ft 10in tall and my weight fluctuates between 176-180 lbs. So I’m about average physically but under average in other ways. No one should make unkind comments about someone else’s inabilities but should comment on their abilities. My brother was three years older than I and he struggled with a weight problem all his life. It used to bother me, but it didn’t bother him, he wouldn’t let it because his character was above that. When someone couldn‘t remember his name he’d just tll them to call him by his nickname, “Fatty”. The nickname became a term of respect when used by most who knew my brother and how generous he was with everybody. He once told me, ” I‘ve never met anyone that I didn’t like” WOW ! Try that one on for size. He meant it, he was a friend of everybody and everybody loved him. Some like Chris Matthews are underweight when it comes to character and overweight when it comes to their big mouths. Thank you again Neil Cavuto for so professionally putting the other guy in his right place, the loser’s corner. Ha
